The transfer was anything but smooth. COnfusion in prescriptions and the number of refills left drove me crazy. Getting refills is a whole different problem. It's taken 5 days in some cases to get a script filled. Sometimes they call and let you know it's ready and other times they don't, you have to follow up. I've dealt with several other pharmacies they all have their quirks, but Sussex has to be the worst one I have ever dealt with in my life. If you have a choice of pharmacies it's advisable to avoid this one.

I dropped off my refills for the pharmacy and was told 30-45 minutes. I said that's fine I'm going to go next door for lunch. I returned 40 minutes later and was told "I have to get them ready it will be 30 minutes. I responded to that by saying I was already told that over 30 minutes ago. I travel and am on the way out of town..I don't have a place to go and wait on them over an hour by the time I will finally get my pills. I have never waited more than 10 minutes on Walgreens but waiting 40 is perfectly acceptable also. They might be busy today? What I don't like though is waiting 40 minutes and then being told we have to start on them and it will be another 30. Either give me an accurate time to begin with or pay attention so you don't forget there is a customer waiting.

CVS, which 30 years ago put a ton of mom and pops out of business saying they provided Convenience, Value and Service (CVS) is now a joke. Their prescriptions are more expensive than any other place. Their non-pharmacy items are more expensive than anywhere else. And now with total self check out there's no one to help you if you need something. Lately I've noticed some smaller, Privately owned pharmacies are opening up. My research is showing they will provide better service at reasonable prices for me so I'm done with CVS. Back to Mom and Pop drugstores !!!!
