Terrible customer service. Glad we have other choices like Coscos. Placed pickup order was given a time slot. At time to pickup I got a message order was delayed. I only had 7 items. My Grandson was getting the order for me and sat for over an hour. I called several times but could not get any one to answer. I have canceled my order. Don't think I will be going to Sam's. Customer service was severely lacking. Did a pick up order and waited over an hour. Went inside and no one was at the service desk. Went back to vehicle and called many times, when I got an answer the young lady was very kind and sounded overwhelmed. She tried to connect me to the right department but no one would answer the phone. Eventually, she asked me if I could come inside and go to the pick up location because no one would answer the call. I explained to her that's not a problem but I ordered a bed and there was no way I could load that in my car by myself. After about an hour and a half wait I finally got the bed I ordered. The bed is incredibly soft but the lack of customer service makes me never want to order big items from them again. Other than that issue, I typically have a smooth visit to Sam's. Lines tend to be long but that's expected since most people buy in bulk. Store is always clean and who doesn't love those free samples on the weekends. read more

I'd first like to say that there is a good selection of products you can find here for personal and business use. Secondly, it's kinda quick In-n-Out checkout. As for the Restrooms...different story. The one place people frequent is NOT SANITARY at all! I walked into the Ladies room and found, what's supposed to be cleaned and sanitized, was left like this...and I went before and after shopping in hopes of seeing it cleaned but wasn't. read more

We really like having a sams membership. It's worth the price when there's a promo and getting discounts on my gas is def a plus!

Places like Sam's Club are definitely great to have, because there's always something you need a lot of. During the beginning of the pandemic it was toilet paper (for reasons we'll never know why) and more often than not, it's something like 35 packs of LaCroix seltzer water or giant bags of Doritos. Whatever your pick is, everyone always finds something they need at these large, bulk item stores. Having a Costco card for the past 5 years and then transferring to an area without a Costco was somewhat difficult, because I was used to a lot of the amenities/items Costco had. Sam's Club still has a great assortment of unique things like fitness equipment, household appliances, decor, etc. I've been there when it's not as crowded and it's not too bad. I've never had to wait in line for more than 5 minutes and the staff has always been helpful. read more

Pickup order was 2 hours late coming out. I stressed I had just gotten out of the hospital and still no help!

People change, place's change and reviews change based upon new evidence and your experiences. Well this Sam's Club seems like it trying to have their members quit. The customer service help desk is in an absolutely insane location with only two instead of the 4 people that had previously. I joined Sam's Club through Groupon which offered a $20 Sam's membership which I purchased and paid by credit card. I took the Groupon certificate to the Sam's Club Customer Service to get my Sam's Club card. Two weeks later, when I got my credit card bill it had the Groupon $20 charge and a seperate $20 Sam's Club membership charge. Working with Sam's to fix the issue is like pulling teeth. I have made 3 trips to work this out showing my credit card page with the 2 charges for the membership. It is still ongoing and unresolved. The lesson here is to just know that if Sam's screws up your account, it will be you that will pay the price of exceptional inconvenience. read more

Sam's Club is good for when you want to stock up on those items that you use all of the time. The meat section could use a little improvement option-wise. I don't really have any complaints about the store or staff. Just a tip: its totally worth it to invest in downloading the app and utilizing the "Scan & Go" option. Its the only way to go, unless you like standing on long lines for something you can quickly do by yourself and go on about your day. read more

This location is really great it's right by the Walmart and good coffee (cutters point). The parking lot is a mess, but which one isn't? The staff are all friendly as far as I can tell and the store was stocked very well. The food court was great and they were happy to make fresh food for me. Overall I will keep coming back for sure. read more

So we went to window shop and chill you know what I mean? I saw that they had churros and was like oh snap I need that in my mouth. They didn't have any available, but they were like you wanna wait and we will make some?! I was like hell yeah I'll wait 7 minutes for a 99cent churro. It ended up being like over 10 minutes and they felt bad and they hooked us up with like 3 extra churros for making us wait so long. I was soooo happy. Those ladies deserve a raise for taking care of their customers. Sam's club is where it's at. read more

Great fit Great Quality and selection if you can get there early. They sell down quick and the price is half of the other "name" brands at the malls. I called my local Sam's Club on Montgomery Street in Savannah, GA. I let the phone ring over 25 times to speak with a representative during business hours. No one could be bothered to pick up the phone. My inquiry was about a product and becoming a member. I have boycotted both Sam's Club and Walmart since 1992. The Pooler location is bigger and better. Experienced a case of beer spilling here. No one approached with any sense of urgency nor did anyone ask to make sure there were no injuries. I went to Sams to get a battery for my truck around 8:30am on a Tuesday morning. I asked the man in the service department if he could check my battery for me to make sure it was needed. He brought out his battery tester and hooked it up and he informed me that my battery needed replacing. I looked in the bays and saw there were no cars being serviced so I asked him how long would the wait be. He said that he would not be able to get to it that day and to my shock he said I would suggest that you go somewhere else. I was really shocked that he said that because he had another helper with him and I was the only customer. I asked him why they couldn't get to me and he said that I didn't have an appointment and they were only working on automobiles that had appointments. I couldn't believe that he refused to put a battery in my truck since I was the only one there at the time. I went to another place to get the battery which only took about 20 minutes total to install. I called the corporate office to let them know what happened and they took my information and told me they would get in touch with me after contacting the store. It has been weeks and I have heard nothing. read more

Pretty decent selection. We definitely save money on groceries and paper goods by shopping here. You need to know how to shop here though. Don't buy something you literally won't use 4 of! This place is great for paper towels, toilet paper, tooth brushes, deodorant, meat, staple food, office supplies and out door things. It is definitely fantastic if you have a big family. We don't but we are able to buy bulk the foods we eat and are able to eat healthy for less money! It is worth the membership if you can buy smart and in bulk! The store is very crowded on Sundays but still manageable. We definitely like coming here better than Walmart. Even though we like target, this place is better just because of your ability to save money on items you need. This is a good store for household and food item basics and staples. read more

Yes it's a Sam's club, and is a lot like all Sam's clubs. I am a Costco person, but since that is not an option, I am happy we have this as an option. The fruit is as fresh as the island Publix and the prices are a lot better. While we are not bulk buyers, we have saved a lot over the groceries stores in the area. You can't get everything, but you can get about 80% of the items you need here. read more

I have been a Sam's Club prime member for over 30 years and in five different states. I must report that this particular Sam's Club is terrible - it is dirty, the items advertised in their booklet are often not there, the parking lot area is not picked up and is filthy, cart wipes have not been available the last 5 times I have been there, carts are frequently all in the parking lot and not at the entrance, garbage and food was left in many of the carts (I reported this to management and said I would report to health authorities if continued), wine area is mispriced and mislabeled, etc, etc. This location needs a management change quickly. read more

Worst Sam's Club ever. No savings is worth the abuse and extremely poor customer service at the Savannah GA store. Employees act like they all hate their jobs, plus they're rude and incompetent. And don't even think about calling them, because their phones apparently don't work. Tried for 3 days to get thru to their tire dept, no one answers... And then re-routed to customer service, phone rang for 4 minutes & 37 seconds with no answer. Any idea how many rings that is? And don't ask for a manager in person... 15 minutes wait, really? Ok Sam's I give! I'm gonna try Pooler store. Everybody says they are more respectful there. If they fail, I intend to cancel my membership. As a long time Sam's Club member and military, we have purchased tires from Sam's Club many times, all across the country, for multiple vehicles, and THIS Sam's Club is the WORST ever! They are completely disorganized, no customer service help, phones ringing off the hook and they just ignore their customers standing in line, which we did for about 40 minutes. My husband walked around the store and found a manager (not a tire manager) and had that person meet him at the tire center. They observed the situation and realized how bad it really is...and I believe they actually tried to help but they were not familiar with the tire department...I am beginning to believe NO ONE is familiar with the tire department here. Ok, so we ordered tires. We are at the mercy of the tire center (the people who work here should be knowledgeable about tires, right?) LO and behold, they ordered us Winter tires...in Savannah, Georgia! We are back to square one, we still have NO tires, but one thing for certain, we will NOT be returning to Sam's for our car services. Ever. Sam's Club, if you care, have a manager who knows what they are doing take over the tire department, and FIX it. Customer service and auto (tire and battery specific) knowledgeable employees is a good place to start. read more

Sam's Club can be a money trap and you could end up with enough catsup or mayo to last a lifetime IF you are not a strategic shopper. I come in here for specific items. Toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, water. I only buy in bulk what I use in bulk. But I have also found some non-bulk treasures too. They get some cool closeouts which provides the opportunity to snag some high end purses, jewelry, clothing, bedding, furniture, home decor and more at great prices. If you need eye glasses, the eye dr at this location used to have his own practice and decided he didn't want the overhead any longer, at least thats what I heard, so us Sam's Club patrons get to benefit from a quality exam and very reasonably priced glasses. I shop for my office here every year for Christmas cards and presents for the service personnel (mail carrier, car washer, cleaners, etc) that we regularly interact with. If you get a nail in your tire they will check it free for their members. I also come here for gas...a great value. Stay away from the outer lanes though, the card readers in those lanes tend to be hit or miss. I have been fortunate to come at the right times because I'm usually in and out of here without a long wait. Sam's is definitely a regular part of my shopping rotation. read more

When we got to the register with our stuff the two girls working at it began laughing at us when we told them we don't have a membership and told us we can't shop there. Arrived at 2.30pm to get 4 tires for my son. We looked over the inventory and selected 4 Pirelli tires that had fresh manufacturing date codes on them. (the DOT code on the tire...last 4 digits are week/year).All the other brands were much older. We paid for the tires, told the clerk exactly which tires to install, and after receiving an ok we went shopping. About an hour later, the vehicle was ready so we checked the tires. The date codes were not as promised so we went back in the store. The clerk had just gone to lunch so we had to wait 40 mins until she returned. Apparently there is no business conducted during this time, as several potential customers came and left in spite of several front end supervisors wandering around. The tire clerk agreed that the wrong tires were fittedand the vehicle was moved back in the bay to have the right tires installed. We finally left the store about 6.15pm. It turned into a horrible afternoon of frustration just trying to get things done right, apparently supervisors dont care and/or management is unaware. read more

Amazing woman in the meat department helped us out the Saturday night before Easter. She went out of her way to get us rack of lamb. We also asked for help from a man and woman up front at the desk in the center. They couldn't be bothered to stop talking about their schedule to even ask me if I needed help. When I finally got their attention And asked if they had bread crumbs she said "I don't know! I don't think so". And that was all she could be bothered to say. Wow. Went in for a simple tire rotation at 9 a.m. We were told it would take an hour. An hour later we were told it was going to take another hour. By this time we had already bought groceries. We spoke to the manager and she offered to buy us food (that's not what we wanted). We ended up waiting 2.5 hours for a tire rotation and our groceries sat in the car for 1.5 hours. Never coming back to this location. Female employees were in the back talking and distracting the workers as we stood there to wait. Employee who gave us a wait time should have taken a minute to verify how long it would really take instead of just giving us a b.s. answer. We finally got our car and they manage to scratch all the lug nuts. Horrible service. read more

The tire center at this Sam's club is always so slow. Last time I was there I waited for 45 mins just to be helped only to be told that they wouldn't have time to do my tires that day. Also when I've called in the past no one is ever there to answer the phone. It is very frustrating to pay for a membership to somewhere and that place have such low customer service standards. read more
