Sad to say this... as Sams is my go to store. Con's: Food court. Staff is 50/50. Youll either get a bad attitude and ignore you or someone who is okay doing their job. They are always out of food. I don't know how they are allowed to have the menu up with the consistency. Berry or Brownie Sunday are not a option ever. They will have 1 register open with a person, then 6 workers standing and talking infront of the registers. I have personally seen a line 20 people long. And the solution was the 6 workers would go tell people to switch to the shorter lines at the self checkout. Parking lot is horrible at ice control and very unsafe for winter conditions. The cart guys have no regard for their own safety or customers. Pros: The store side has good selections. Sadly this location is poorly managed. In a college town rurual area it's what you'd expect. Today was a bad day at this Sam's Club first when we got there not one cart in the store all were in the cart corrals further down in the parking lot so had to walk all the way down to get one. First stop cafe half of the sodas in the machine were blown out and no employees in sight to fix. We went to purchase a few cases of deer park water completely sold out. Went then to find the Lodge pizza pan I saw in another store but wasn't sure it would fit and come to find out this store didn't sell it. We left with nothing so sad!! read more

Horrible customer service!! You now need to have an app on a phone to purchase food items at the Cafe! No cash accepted. Told, with an attitude, that I can't order food if I don't download the app!! No sorry or nothing!! I saw another couple turned away at the counter because they thought they could still use cash! All older folks don't have cell phones with app capability! Terrible service. Had tire appointment . When I drove an hour to appointment, was told the computers were down and couldn't put them on. That was at 2 PM and it happened early in the morning. They could have called me. Tried to reschedule but they never answer the phone. Can't understand the people at customer service. They don't speak English well. Called to speak to the manager but they wouldn't let me. Got the same tires put on locally for a better price. Won't ever go there for tires again. read more

I typically have a great experience at Sam's Club but today the cart collector saw we were trying to back out of our space, and purposefully left his carts behind our car. Instead of moving them to block empty spots, he went back to get more carts 3 more times with absolutely no care in the world about our time. Incredibly rude behavior. read more

I came here with intentions to pick up several items and make out as quick as I could. I was not sure what happened, but I ended up getting here when it wasn't that busy. I lucked out. I made my way through the aisles, avoiding all the distractions that Sam's has to offer. I did end up getting everything I needed and then some. I do have to say that I liked the way this location is laid out. It is not like the others out there. It felt smaller on the inside, but somehow held everything you come to expect from the warehouse store. I didn't feel bothered in here when I stopped either. But that could have been because I had my Airpods in and was listening to my own music the whole time. I enjoy checking out in here at the self checkouts. It's weird writing a review for Sams but this Sams is unlike any other I have seen in the past especially those I'm major metropolitan areas, they usually are disorganized and trashy, we'll not this one everything is right where it should be and all clean and organized the employees are helpful and the food in the food court is always warm fresh and inexpensive. read more

Brand new pumps, good design with one way lanes, and prices are $0.10-$0.15 per gallon cheaper than other area gas stations. Sams Club membership is required to use the pumps. Conveniently located in parking lot of a busy Sams Club, the only downside is that the new pumps ate up a lot of parking spaces making the lot more congested than usual. read more

Without my beloved Costco nearby, I have defaulted to Sam's Club. If you want to get away from the horde of students or love to buy things in bulk, well then Sam's Club is probably your best bet. This Sam's Club is actually right next to Walmart which is a little confusing to me. Why put two of your stores next to each other? Nonetheless, membership is pretty cheap here compared to Costco. For students, its $40 a year, and you get a $15 gift card when you sign up. The things here are pretty comparable to Costco. From computers, TVs, food, clothing, vitamins, etc, Sam's Club has it all. The one thing that kind of sucks is that they only take MasterCard. I had to sign up for a new card because I didn't want to pay debit. In addition to their regular food, they do have a food court similar to Costco. There is the standard hot dog and soda for about $1.50. Buuuuut, the soda is literally a 40oz soda. Holy hell Batman! Sam's Club is my primary stop for all of my food goods. If you can eat the same thing for a month, then this is your cup of tea. read more

Sam's is a neccesary evil. Especially for a guy like me. I am sorta in a different position from most Yelpers. I am a married dad of 4. Three of which are still at home. So I have a small army to feed. I have a blue collar job which offers discounted Sam's memberships. I live in central PA which means I am not making a ton of bank. To complicate this even further, I changed my eating habits and lifestyle in January of this year. I weighed 310 pounds. Iow, the scientific term for my body type was fat ass! So, it was time for me to do something. I started eating broccoli and green beans. Lots of them. No..... Really..... Like truck loads...... Broccoli, green beans.... No not with cheese or grease. Nothing like that. My plate would be half green veggie and the other half whatever else. It was behavior mod and portion control. It is working. It is week two, in July. I have lost over 50 pounds and those 7 months include not even one long walk or exercise. So, back to Sam's. I hate it and Walmart. Give me mom and pop any day. I am not anti corporate. I even use to work for Walmart and left on really good terms. It's just that walking into Walmart or Sam's is like an episode of the Walking Dead. I could see the guide description now. "Daryl and Rick scope out a discount club only to find a horde of walkers who don't even know they are dead yet. Carl finds a house he actually doesn't mind getting in. Michonne cuts all their heads off and eats beef jerky." The sales associates seem lifeless here. It's like they drone through it. I guess I understand that. But I hate it. Oh, and even the sample lady acted like a bitch after I refused her crap. No, old bag. I don't want you frozen fruit shit! I said not thanks. Don't give me an attitude! I hate going here because of all these things but I have probably rambled on enough. They at least get two stars for decent prices. Their jewelry is nice and cheap. Oh, and best prices on mattresses pretty much anywhere. I love looking at their TVs too. So I bought my bulk shit. Then I left, thankfully. Been awhile since I visited Sam's Club, a lot has changed. Was rather surprised to see a pharmacy to the far right front of the store. Although there were no customers while I walked by the drop off and pickup windows, I could see the rows of orders waiting for pickup. Seems like it's a popular feature in this store. The small café at the front of the store offers a variety of lunch items, drinks, and snacks. I saw several customers eating and I imagine it's popular with the employees. Not only has a pharmacy been added, but a gas station as well. Giving Sheetz some competition and making Sam's Club even more of a one stop shop. The inside was clean and maintained. I enjoyed strolling around looking at all the bulk items for sale. In particular, I found a seed catalog I was planning to order for half the cost. A pleasant surprise to say the least. I'm glad to see this store being updated and keeping up with other stores. read more

Not a good experience.... purchased a shed..floor model.. no big deal since the manager assured me that it would be all pallet wrapped in sections... hmmmm.... I picked up my shed, it was thrown on two flat beds, directions were not all there.. in fact, most that were there were in spanish... I called to complain the manager was nice, but, no follow up phone call. Had to call the manufacture.... HUGE help.....Lifetime Sheds.... They said anything that was missing to contact them and the as well guided me to where I would find assembly instructions.... Your typical club store with items for purchase in bulk. It's a good way to save some money by buying a ton of one particular item (provided you have room to store it). The only sell the most popular of items so you may not be able to buy your favorite cereal. I would definitely spend some time on their website looking for items you typically buy to ensure that the membership will be a sound investment for you. Their website lists everything they sell along with the prices. They also don't accept coupons of any kind. read more

Has anyone else noticed that quite a few brand name items are disappearing off the shelves and being replaced with Members Mark brand? It's fine to have your own brand there but the consumer should still have the option to purchase the name brand they like. Getting more and more disappointed with Sam's. I filed a complaint with the management of this store about the attitude of some of their staff and the way they treated my wife and I on our last visit and since it seems I am being ignored I will vent a little here. I have been a Sam's member since 1995 and I have never had an incident like the one I will relate. I am 77 yrs old and I walk with two canes because physical problems. I went into the store and saw there were no flat carts available. I asked the fellow at the door where all the flats were and without looking at me, he pointed to the parking lot and said "Out there somewhere" and then he walked away. I went to the exit side where the flats are kept hoping to find one hidden away. No luck. I asked another person about the flats and got the same treatment. My wife meanwhile, stopped an employee and asked where she could get a flat cart and was told what I was told previously, "They are somewhere way out in the parking lot". I finally said in a loud voice to all the employees who were at the entrance, "Who do I see about getting a flat cart?". The fellow I encountered first this time pointed to the inside of the store and said "You are going to have to find someone in there." Nobody offered to help me until I went to the service desk where on of the girls there offered to go to the parking lot and bring one to me. Everyone of the people my wife and I encountered up to the nice girl at the service desk, needs to be re-trained or fired read more
