I freaking LOVE Sam's Club!!! I joined last year when they had a $25 membership fee for newbies. It really was a no-brainer for me. I am really into smoking meat. It just so happens that they have an amazing selection of meats. They have cuts I can't find easily. The meat selection is the main reason I joined. I've had their Prime Tri-Tip and Brisket Point. Pork Belly, Pork Butt, Chicken, Ribeye, T-Bone and Organic Chicken. Another thing to mention is their bakery. They have a top-notch bakery. The Key Lime Pie is amazing. So affordable too. I've tried a few of their cakes too. Tres Leches, Tuxedo Bar Cake with Chocolate Mousse, and the Fruit Topped Chantilly Cream Bar, So delicious!!! The Member's Mark KPOD variety coffee is very good too. Much better deal then Maud's on Amazon. Another mention - their premade food is pretty delicious and very convenient. Much cheaper than ordering take out. The Rotisserie Hatch Green Chicken Enchiladas were mmm good! So many other things I could say. Scan and Go!!! Game changer! Your customer service really sucks over the phone and at the warehouse store level at this location. Why do they even have a customer service 1800 number just to tell you have to go to the store to fix your membership in their computer at the store level. My card never worked at the cashier and they cannot fix it at the memberships desk who lacks training. Every time I go to sam's they have to over ride it because it's reading error. And they always tell me to head over to the customer service desk to fix it. But every time I go they have no problem reading my membership card and thats the furthest they can help me. I can't even sign in on my app because they won't help me at all. read more

This club has really come up in the last year. Fast self check out, a more streamlined layout of the store and for added appeal, in house sushi chefs, YUMMY!!! First time I came in 7 years ago it was dark and dreary inside, the lighting was cold and you just don't want to stay longer than you had to. I had some shopping to do at Sam's, but I also wanted my tire sensors checked. The warning came coming up on my dash, " tire sensor". So, I dropped off my car with the Automotive section of Sam's. I explained my situation to Brandon, and he said he would check it fir me while I went shopping. When I was finished, I went over to the Automotive area, and asked for Brandon. He had gotten sidetracked, and he apologized. He went straight to my car and checked each tire. Two of the sensors weren't working and the tires were also low , he said he would top of the tires for me. He also informed me, that sensors usually last about 10 years, and I knew I had owned my car longer than that...Anyway, a lot of stuff happened, he ended up having to jump my car. This store sucks. I keep comparing it with Costco and the store is just falling short. It starts with the membership. They won't give you a physical card so you have to use the app which sucks. Not everyone has unlimited data and every customer fiddling with their phones at checkout just delays everything. Then on the parking lot Shopping carts scattered everywhere. Also people loitering every day. I don'twant to sign any Petition or buy berries on the parking lot. The customer service sucks too, very rude. Produce prices are similar to Costco but at Costco its usually organic, here it's not but costs the same. The member service line is always super long. I won't renew my membership. read more

I love shopping here with my family. But lately upon getting carts and having to strap my toddler in the cart, the person inside giving the carts always hurry us even when no one is behind us. Please don't hurry us. Also when exiting there's those people who ask if you're a registered voter. They're way too close the exit not giving wnough way for wveryone to easily exit. Please have them post further. I have a wheelchair and this guy was all over my face today asking me to register. I went to sam's club on October 26 to grab a bite to eat from the cafe, there were no tables at the cafe so me and my cousin decided to walk around while eating. suddenly, we hear the white haired asian lady that's always at the exit yelling at an employee for what seemed to be a minor issue, me and my cousin found it extremely inappropriate to berate an employee for "scanning items too fast" in-front of customers. Went to this location for the first time, we go to the Concord location since it's closer to our house, but we were having lunch in the area. Our goal for today, was to find and buy fresh fruit! We picked up a box of mangoes 8lbs for 8 bucks, it has 10 mangoes in the box. My beautiful wife wanted grapes , to snack on so we grabbed those for her. My other fruit choices were bananas and blackberries. The bananas are cheaper here than Costco, which are less than $1.50 for 3lbs of bananas! The blackberries were super sweet and tasty after I washed them and had them for a snack after dinner. I heard eating a handful of cashews helps with hair loss naturally, so I bought a tub of nuts, for that sole purpose. Hey I'm in my 40's and I'm doing everything naturally to keep my hair as along as I can . Overall pretty happy with our trip to this location. We found everything we were looking for and is conveniently located across the street from Walmart. read more

This is a review for the tire / battery center. Called this morning to see if they had my battery in stock, and if they could install it. Made an appointment for 6pm and got a tow to the store. Arrived at 6:13 (within their 15 min grace period according to their customer service rep) and waited at the counter for about ten minutes. The employee said he was there by himself. I paid around 6:30 ish and he let me know that he had a car ahead of me he was still working on and if he wasn't able to get to it by 7, he wouldn't be able to do it at all. By 6:45 he had my car up, poked around for a bit and called at 7 on the dot to say he wasn't able to change the battery because it was too invasive and against their policy? The manager we spoke with then confirmed they actually just didn't have the time to change my battery since my car wasn't started on time, and they close at 7. Definitely will be going else where in the future read more

I was always team Costco and never looked Sam's way. But over a year ago, it was by chance of a discount membership through work that I became a Sam's member. After my year membership, I was absolutely happy to renew. Sam's offers a variety of everything! Candy, snacks, wines, drinks, dairy, meats...you name it! I love their easy app check out (minus alcohol because you need to be carded!). I can get lost here for hours with no complaints. My experience with the gas lines have been pleasant. I am appreciative that the lines go in one direction ( enter and exit). You can use your app to scan and pay. It's #thankyouThursday and I wanted to shout out Sam's club for the awesome prices, great service and selection! We will continue to be members for years to come. read more

This is my first time at this Sam's club location, compared to the Concord location this place is huge. There is more variety of the basics, it's seemed like more brands of coffee, cereal, snacks etc. Everything was well stocked, prices were reasonable. There were many items that I saw at this location that I have not seen at the Concord location (which is the one I go to since it's the closest). It was enjoyable stocking up and completing my shopping list. Associates were friendly. This place could have been five stars, but minus a star for cleanliness. There were many areas that looked scuffed (dirty) like the walls by the entrance and exit AND the bathrooms. Oh boy! Stalls that didn't close in the women's bathroom, broken soap dispensers, dispensers that didn't have soap, no towels to dry your hands and toilet paper scattered on the floor. Ugh read more

Management is quite iffy. There is a third party the runs fresh squeezed OJ. I have complained to the "Store Manager" about this. They told me when the product is in-stock in the App is would be available. Today it was in-stock so I took time off work and what did I find, no product. When I complained to a "member of management" they blamed the fulfillment center and did absolutely nothing for me - a pissed off customer. I think the management need a refresher course on customer service and when asked if they are THE store manager they answer truthfully. Shopping was fine as usual. My husband lost his smart watch a few days prior and our "find my watch" app said it's at the store. When he asked at customer service if anyone had turned it in he was told someone would have to look in the office. They radioed someone to check and they were told to hold on. After a while the girl said she couldn't get anyone to check... He was like....ok... We were on a time crunch at that point so he's going to call later but they didn't seem to want to help at all. read more

Bakery department... I called 2 days in advance and asked about the strawberry/cheese tray and I asked if I could pick it up on Sunday noon time. The lady over the phone told me she had to go ask someone to see if that was something they do. She got back on the phone and let me know they could accommodate and that it would be ready Sunday. I asked if it was made fresh and she told me yes they do it the morning of and I said okay. I called Saturday to confirm that they got my order and to make sure it would be ready by Sunday. The lady over the phone told me it was ready and asked if I could come pick it up. I said uh no and that I'm not in town. She said okay you can come pick it up at your designated day and time. At this point do they even make it the morning of? When I picked my tray up it didn't even look fresh. Nothing in my tray looked fresh. It didn't even fulfill the tray! It looked empty! Easily one of my favorite stores especially with doing pick up orders. I can easily order online the night before and pick up my order the next day without having to get out of the car. They are usually fast and efficient. Iyiu just have to make sure you have good quality items as some of the pickings of veggies aren't always great but they will refund you if you have any issues, On the occasions I do go inside to shop the lines are never too long and I love the self checkout. I usually have a good experience at this location with the exception of only two experiences. Both were due to unacceptable customer service. This latest one that actually made me post a review was due to a "manager" Jerome refusing to provide adequate customer service to a a member of 25+ years. There was a pretty big ticket product that my family was looking to purchase and Jerome told me they were out of stock, however there was going to be a delivery that night or the next morning. He told me to come back the next day. When I went back, it was still not there. The problem isn't that it wasn't there yet, it was the fact that he stated "we don't call customers when products come in, you'll have to come by every day to check". Excuse me!?! I waited another few days then checked the app, and it said the product was finally in stock. I drove back to the store and was rang up for it using the ticket's bar code, only to later be told they needed to refund me since it actually wasn't in the store yet. I requested to just be called when it arrived and was told that even that is not possible, I'll need to just keep coming in to check or call every day. Totally disappointed. read more

his place is a joke. The NEVER answer their phones! I got a job here and they advertised one wage but they didn't honor what they posted on line. So I call them Wednesday for 3 hours! The member service did not answer it would ring for 3.5 minutes and then automatically hang up on you, so I called for different departments and I was constantly hung up on! After the 3 hours finally someone in member service answered and told me to call back. I said how?!? No body answers the phone. Fast forward to Saturday again member service wouldn't answer and lo and behold they finally did well they put me on hold for 30 minutes! So I called back for the bakery and they finally picked up and I didn't get hung up on. But after speaking to the hiring manager and letting her know it's been impossible to get aloof of anybody and then telling her about the wage issues, turns out the FALSELY ADVERTISED THE WAGE to begin with! So wasted my time all week for the improper wage. To add to this I did speak with the HR department after calling for the 3 hours they were no help either told me well just drive to the store and see if the manager is there and I said declined to do that. Last time I was there to get a pizza, it was a 40minute plus wait n line.. So today I call to , we'll tired anyway, to put n an order so I wouldn't have to go through that again.. I called for an hour. Finally someone answered, but at the customer service desk I guess. She tells me, well I guess they turned off the phone , maybe their busy ‍, ok but this is the time to put orders n for dinner and such.. I just don't get it! Do you want business or not ? Not answering and making people wait n line for almost an hour is not the way to do that. One person back there working the last time .. at these hours maybe put more people so the work load isn't overwhelming, maybe you'd be able to answer a phone.. Costco it is then.. We rolled into Sam's Club Tire Center early Monday morning after picking up our rental RV, as it turns out with very under inflated tires. Long story short: The two guys there could not have been more helpful to us. We had a hub cap that was bolted on among other challenges. It feels far and few between that customer service is just plain old friendly when they don't have to be, but these guys went even beyond. My mom insisted I come with her to Sam's. Well I didn't buy as much as I do at Costco. This place is definitely for someone with kids or large family. Lots of snacks and junk food ect. Didn't have much veggie selection or meat The refrigerator/freezer section didn't have as many options as Costco. They did however have more name brand things like Aquafina chocolate deli meats ect. Yet I was underwhelmed with selections. Good for my wallet. Didn't spend as much as I had anticipated but definitely not a one place trip. Also their food court look deserted. Cashier and cashier helper were not very friendly and where kind of on autopilot. Robotic like. Anyways. I won't be lining up to get a membership here anytime soon. read more

I've been here so many times, I didn't realize I hadn't written a review yet! I usually visit this Sam's Club location early morning before work (gas) or after work for snacks, etc. I don't usually come across any big crowds each time I come here. I am able to shop for what I need, pay at the register (or scan and go on the app) and go on my way. This location usually has an employee at the door checking membership cards or on the app (which took some getting used to, a couple locations I used to frequent in Sacramento never did). This store stays pretty well stocked. The store is not far from me at all, which gets an extra star for convenience. Also there are so many gas pumps and at times long lines. But, even then I can pay for my gas and go without much wait or fuss. I will be returning soon for more gas(oline) and snacks!! read more
