This was a very oddly laid out Target that's a bit more similar to the Target in San Ramon. We walked through the entire store to find the pharmacy area and were finally able to grab the few items we needed when we found it, although there was a massive line for self checkout, with only 4 stands available (instead of the usual 6-8). I'd grabbed a drink from the cooler but when we got back to the car it had already been opened so I ended up having to toss it. Overall, a fairly middle of the road experience and I doubt we'll return. read more

I want to understand why you would remove maternity apparel from your stores, specifically from the vacaville location. It is already hard to find maternity wear in general, and people highly value being able to access these types of clothing as pregnancies are continuous. After browsing online this morning I saw this location carried the Large Around Zip Wallet in Green by A New Day. So far I'm loving the feel and look of this wrist wallet! A great replacement for my old one! This location is nice with sweet staff and they have a nice selection as well! FYI they no longer carry DVDS in store, just video games. I was unaware and eldest wanted one for our road trip to play in the van. :-( LOL you know this Target addict will be back, we enjoy checking out all the locations! My 5 year old grand daughter was injured in this Vacaville location last Friday, June 12, and management has acted like nothing occurred. She got a gash in her ankle which required 5 stitches and more than likely a serious scar on her ankle for life. In fact, they have not even cleaned the area of the store where incident happened leaving blood (bio hazard) and whatever else still present. Do better Target! read more

I've always found their customer service staff to be helpful and friendly. Their self-checkout machines work well. I like the store. I appreciate the free shipping on orders over $35 and the online order and in-store pickup options. But what I REALLY like is the Vacaville Target's selection of fresh, reasonably-priced raspberries, blackberries and (in summer) cherries, both the red and the Ranier varieties. They also have great prices on Fage yogurt and various dairy items as well as frozen fish (their frozen salmon and cod are great). I like their vitamins and supplements selections too. They're also good for a variety of one-off items: I recently picked up a water bottle sling there for hiking, and it's great - and the price was excellent. I shop here all the time. I find it a clean, well lit, well organized place to shop that has a lot of what I want to buy at great prices. I hope they stay in business because I like the Vacaville Target store a lot. read more

On 2/21/26 my husband bought a Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro. We didn't get around to opening it until the next evening (2/22/26). Color us surprised when we realized that it showed signs that it was already used. There was water still in the cleaning compartment, there was some residue on the outside of the cover, and one of the packages of detergent tablets was opened. There were no clear signs that the item we purchased was open box besides what looks like a sticker that may have been ripped off? (See photos) We paid full retail price. I appreciate living close to this Target. This location is usually pretty well stocked. The cashiers and employees are always friendly. When I am picking up an online order for drive up, there isn't much of a wait and the staff member giving me my items is are always courteous. It's a decent sized store. I can always find what I need, use my app for Target Circle Rewards or redeem coupon for added savings. There's a Starbucks located inside. I haven't ordered drinks here,so, I'm not able to comment on the service there. I'll be back for another Target run soon! :) read more

She was not only kind and accommodating while assisting me, but I also observed her managing the line with efficiency and professionalism. Although I attempted to leave a tip to show my appreciation, I learned that Starbucks locations inside Target do not accept tips. However, Chai's outstanding attitude and customer service truly stood out, and I felt compelled to share my experience. If you find yourself at this location, I highly recommend seeking out Chai. Target you have to do better.This one is in Vacaville. My experience today was not good and usually I have a good experience at target. However, it's the holiday season you're going to expect long lines. I did not expect this! My cashier rung up all my stuff. I paid for it and then the receipt tape ran out. Okay, so she had to go and ask her co-worker, actually, 2 of them for some receipt tape. Okay, I'm still waiting patiently. When she returned and she started up her register again she was trying to issue me a receipt however, she was not successful at it. She told me that I had to go to customer service and asked them to print me a receipt. In my mind, I'm like, I'm walking up to customer service with these Items with no receipt. Are you kidding me? Okay, that's what she told me to do. Well, I get to customer service and there's another long line. Okay, waiting again. (Today was the waiting game) lol when I got to the counter at customer service, they told me it's not that easy.The good thing is I payed with my bank card.If I would have paid cash, it would have been a problem and i did not put my number in this time. Usually I do. But this day I didn't... the cashier then told me that only a manager has access to do that? So I had to wait for the manager, because he was in the back of the store. That's fine. When he finally arrived, he got my information. And then I had to wait again, eventually, I did receive a copy of a receipt. Okay, this is my take on it. This is a holiday season let's start there. Cashier should not have to leave their station to go. Vacaville Target is so clean, safe, and stress-free. I just waltzed in today, BLACK FRIDAY, to grab the most insane doorbuster I've ever heard of: a Playstation 5, Disc Version, for $350 vs the usual price of $500. No line, tons of parking, no stress. From parking, to walking up to the Customer Service, desk, and walking out with my order, I was in and out of there within literally 4 minutes. After grabbing this and my Dyson v8 a few years ago ($219 vs $470) I am such a big fan of Target, and especially appreciate how smooth the experience has been at this location! read more

I could not find what i was looking for?? recently had a very disappointing experience at Target that left me questioning whether I'll return anytime soon. From the moment I walked in, the store felt chaotic and poorly maintained. Items were out of place, shelves were half-empty, and there were even spilled products on the floor that no one seemed in a hurry to clean up. It was frustrating trying to locate what I needed because the sections were so disorganized, and signage was either confusing or missing altogether. When I asked a few employees for help, their attitudes were surprisingly indifferent. One staff member barely looked up from their phone, and another gave me vague directions that didn't help at all. It felt like customer service was not a priority at this location. To make things worse, there were very few open registers, and the self-checkout machines were glitching. The line stretched halfway through the store, and no one seemed concerned about moving it along faster. The final straw was realizing I had been overcharged for an item that was clearly marked on sale. When I brought it up to a cashier, I was told I'd have to go to customer service, where I waited another 20 minutes just to get the price adjusted. No apology, no sense of urgency. Really poor customer service. I get it's New Years Eve but you chose to be there. I was at checkout and I got a $5 gift card back and so I decide to go redeemed it. She says they're out of cards. Mind you she is talking extremely low with an attitude. Like it isn't coming out your check girl relax. She says she can take $5 off my total, I say okay no problem. She does it but refuses to let me put my number in as she says it won't work. Okay so I just don't get any of my coupons as well? The total before her "help" was $80, to be $75 after the gift card. When she "helped" it was $92 with the $5 off. She just couldn't be bothered and I didn't save any money. The rewards with this company suck as is but she made it worse. read more

I want to Target this morning to buy candy. I went to the self checkout not knowing that the very 1st register doesn't take cash. I press the button on the screen for help. I waited and waited no one came to help me. I asked the cashier that was ringing on the register across self checkout. He said "oh that would be me" he had 3 or 4 people in line. Finally he was done with his customer and he was about to help the next customer, he said "let me help her". 3.5 stars to be accurate Oh target..this love/hate relationship continues into 2022. This is my go-to location but it is a hit or miss with customer service and selection. Some days I'm thoroughly impressed with their selection in every department and others (though this could be due to covid and delivery/stock issues) it's just a disappointment. I try to do curbside whenever possible, and besides the $1 they charge for the bag - and some days I don't even get a bag, hmmm- i've never had an issue. They definitely have one of the better curbside/drive up systems..and not to mention their app is the most user friendly and parking spaces are always available. Customer service is very ok here. Sometimes I feel like they are so helpful and friendly. Other times I'm off looking for someone for help, and other times when I do find someone, I get the feeling like i'm bothering them. Hence, back to curbside or online ordering. At store returns, the line can get long, so expect to practice patience. Not just with the registers but with others standing in line to return. Please be courteous and keep your distance. It's not a big area for long lines, so it can get cramped. And let's give it up to the card/stationary section!! BRAVO!! It's always stocked...and I can always find the right card for every occasion. Tips- Always bring a reusable bag...I know we all have tons in the car or at home. I've come here a few times and see folks ask for one or two and they have been out. Please drive carefully and slow down when parking here. Clean your filthy bathrooms. Pretty disgusting. Not to mention I had to go to the last soap dispenser to even get soap. There were 4 soap dispensers!!! Managers obviously don't care about the cleanliness of the restrooms. I'm curious to see what the mens bathroom looked like as well. Staff should be checking the restrooms periodically during the day. Floor needs to be mopped too. I didn't even want to bring my shoes into my house knowing that I walked into this FILTH. I went in to target on Sunday morning to pick up an order and return an item. It went smoothly. The customer service clerk was nice and friendly. As I walked out of the store I looked in to the bag and realized it was the wrong item in the bag. I walked back in to the store and in seconds there was about 6 people now standing waiting to be helped at customer service. I was immediately irritated. I walked up to the side of the counter where there was a young employee wearing a vest. I explained my dilemma. Another customer service employee told me she was the manager and that she would be helping me as soon as she was done helping the person she was currently assisting. She told me she was the manager and she asked me what my issue was, she was very polite seemed concerned and wanted to make sure that my problem was resolved. I explained to her that my app purchase that I had just picked up was not the item in the bag. The item was completely sold out in store. In a minute she credited my account and gave me a sincere apology. She was courteous, efficient and pleasant. I'm sorry I forgot her name. read more

Target delivery service isn't worth the time. Almost 80% of the time I've had to use it, they haven't had the products (or the target shoppers are blind or lazy) that I've ordered and I've had to run to closest (which happens to be most expensive grocer) to get the item I really needed. Ex; russet potatoes - ordered 4. Because normally they are medium to large size. Oh no, I get the smallest potatoes ever. They didn't have evaporated milk , only low fat or 2% fat. Who wants that when they need to bake something (well those of us that aren't watching our fat I guess. Lol) Better to spend $10 and drive to Safeway or Sprouts, unless you're really ailing. Because trust me, Target will let you down. I have even cancelled my Target card because what's the use to use it for the deliveries when I won't be using it again. read more

I live in Fairfield but I come to this location to find things my local store doesn't have, especially in the dollar spot! I love the dollar spot here, they have much more than Fairfield and it's closer to me than the Vallejo store which also has a good dollar spot, or at least it did when I lived there. I went there and the bathroom was a mess. Who just leaves the toilet paper on the floor? They also were not scheduling enough people because everyone there seemed tired and overworked. The Starbucks had only one person working and the line was long because he couldn't keep up with us. Since Target wants to remove my review, I'm going to repost it and share my amazing experience I had at this store! Earlier this year, I was shopping with my husband and my nephew for some last minute items at around 6pm. We got harassed by a group of young adults who followed us down multiple isles and were trying to make absurd comments about me and how I looked, I did not respond to these comments. They kept following us down the isles and then get ready for the best part, they THREW BOXES over the top of the isles hitting me and my husband in the face and proceeded to run away to the surrounding isles. This is unacceptable and scary when I have a child with me. when I brought it up to the security guard he knew exactly which group of young adults we were talking about and NOTHING WAS DONE OR SAID TO THEM. This is ridiculous target. I wish I filed a police report for harassment and assault. They have already removed my review when this first happened so looks like they just accept this behavior at this location. Not family friendly, would not recommend to bring your young kids or nephews into this location where they are subject to this kind of people. read more

I remember the first time I visited a Target store in Walnut Creek, back when I was in Grad school. I thought, "Wow! This is a great Target!" It was fancy with it's wide aisles, underground parking, escalator for both people and baskets, etc. I had that feeling coming in here. Although it is huge and I had to walk a country mile to find what I was looking for, it was fine. I also appreciated that the aisles were clear a debris and that the shelves were orderly and full. This won't be a regular stop for me because there are so many locations close by, however, if in the area and I need to stop by Target on my way back home, I'd stop by here, rather than Pinole, to get what I'm looking for. read more

Went there for a few items. Chips were so much cheaper and larger bags at grocery outlet then target. We got some things and then went to grocery outlet. On the way out in the parking lot one guy was doing carts and a girl was working with him standing there talking in her outfit vaping. My daughter and I went to Target to return some clothes that had not been worn and still had the tags on them. Some of the pieces were older since she had lost weight and they wouldn't fit now. She had all the receipts to the purchases on her phone and customer service only took back a few of the clothes. One item was purchased in March of this year and they wouldn't take it saying the computer is not allowing them take it back. Mind you, these were never worn and still had the tags attached. I would think they would still give store credit instead of not taking it back at all. Where is Target customer service? They already made their money on the items. The least they could have done is give store credit. I personally will not shop there anymore if this is how they treat their customers, especially someone who has shopped there and spent thousands in their store. read more
