The service is amazing. Jill is super fast, sweet and efficient. I always come to see her for all my quick flower needs whenever I can. The selection is often good but sometimes hit or miss and they don't usually have premade bouquet's there unless it's a holiday so best bet is to order ahead. I came across Sam's Flowers while researching florists. I saw an arrangement on their Yelp page which I loved. I called and was immediately met with great customer service. I spoke with the owner who asked me to text her the picture of the arrangement. She called me back quickly and asked my occasion, gave suggestions, and assured me I would be happy. She exceeded my expectations! The arrangement was for my sister's homecoming after delivering her baby boy. She called me enthusiastically exclaiming, "did you spend $10,000 on this, they are breathtaking!" I felt so relieved and happy since I've definitely had major flower delivery fails in the past. Sam's flowers is one of my favorite vendors from my wedding day. They do not have a big online presence but I was a bridesmaid in a wedding they did flowers for and I took a chance. I would not have it any other way. They do not have a display book or many professional pictures you can go through and I am not a big flower fan but I had my phone with the screenshot of what I wanted. I went over those with Jennifer, she told me it was possible and asked me to email her the screenshots. She asked me if I would want her to take care for everything from flowers on the cake, aisle runners, flower girl basket and the ring pillow. And I agreed I had no idea how full service they were. When she gave me the quote, I had no idea they would deliver the bouquets and boutineers to our house before the photographer arrived. Then they headed over to the venue to set up the ceremony. I can not explain how amazed I was when I first entered the ceremony space as my dad was walking me down the aisle. It the flowers in the aisle, the flowers on the pergola, it simply took my breath away. The reception space was also beautiful beyond belief. Guest have told me as they walked into the reception hall they were simply mesmerized! I really did have the perfect wedding. But the flowers were simply the icing on the cake that made it even sweeter. I will post more pictures as they roll in but put your trust in Jennifer and Sam! Simply put- I put in an order for my WEDDING BOUQUET with Sam's flowers, called a few days beforehand to confirm the delivery, and the day of the event-nothing was delivered. I had to use flowers from a local grocery shop for my wedding. When I called Sam's flowers the next day, her reasoning was that she simply "forgot". We ordered flowers from an online company who then procured Sam's to fill the order. They delivered something that was not even close in comparison to what we ordered and paid for. I called the online company to complain and they assured me that a new arrangement would be delivered. Well a new one was delivered the next day but it was just an upgraded version of the first one, looked nothing like what we wanted or paid for. I called the online company again and said I did not want them to send a 3rd arrangement. They offered to send this to their supervisor to get a refund. In the mean time, Sam's went back to the recipient of the flowers and asked for the 2nd arrangement back. Then they came back to the door and asked for the 1st one as well, saying I had cancelled the orders and was getting a refund. I called the online company and they said when the supervisor approved to refund me she applied it as a cancelled order which then sent a message to the florist that these were cancelled. That in fact was not what happened and because of their screw up in making the arrangement that we paid for, my cousin who is sick and going through chemo was left with no flowers. I have never heard of such a thing, screwing up not one but two arrangements and then sending the delivery driver back to pick them up! If they couldn't make the arrangement that we paid for they should have called and communicated that and we could have picked something different instead of just sending some less than adequate arrangement twice!! No communication on their part whatsoever to try and rectify the problem. Not to mention, what are they going to do with the flowers? With COVID all around are they really going to reuse the flowers that they took back from a sick person? What a disgrace this florist shop is! 2:45 pm Wednesday January 27th: My cousin called a few minutes ago to say Sam's flowers sent her a beautiful Orchid arrangement with an apology note for what happened yesterday. Even after they had danced all night Sam's Flowers still look wonderful! All and all, I simply love Sam's Flowers! My daughter's Sweet 16 at Woodcrest Country Club was beautifully decorated because of the exquisite arrangements made and set up by Sam's flowers. From the initial meeting, samples made, prompt delivery and beautifully meticulous set up at Woodcrest Country Club, this was a wonderful experience. Every flower was fresh and the arrangements were extremely full. Everything that I requested was accommodated and they are very creative when it comes to what flowers and arrangements would work best for the colors and the various sections of the room. I loved the service at Sam's and they are a FIVE STAR florist for sure. If you need last minute assistance, they are so kind they'd probably take on the challenge; honestly I have never met such an accommodating florist!
