After dealing with an overcharge on my credit card, I was told I'd receive a call the next day to schedule delivery, which I paid $99 for. That call never came until I followed up on social media three days later. It wasn't until August 27 that I finally heard from someone to schedule the delivery. On September 11, the delivery arrived, but one of the pieces was not what I had ordered. I immediately called customer service and sent photos of the correct item. They did offer to refund the incorrect item, but instead of taking ownership, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I also requested a refund of the $99 delivery fee, since the service I paid for (delivering the correct items) wasn't fulfilled. Later, I saw some internal emails by mistake, and it became clear they had no intention of refunding the delivery fee. The whole interaction left me feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why they wouldn't just refund such a small fee to keep a customer. Despite being excited about the furniture itself, this experience has soured me on purchasing from them again. My advice: take photos of everything you buy and be prepared for potential issues. If they're willing to lose a customer over $99, it raises concerns about their overall business practices.

My niche problem was that I have an aquarium fish tank. My water was unbalanced and needed to cycle the levels of bacteria. Part of the solution is to use lava stones. You can buy them at an aquarium store, you might find some at Lowes or Home Depot... but YOU WILL find Lava Rocks here, without any doubt nor chasing them on a hunt that could be frustrating. I called first then was intrigued to come and visit their brick and mortar retail store in Gardena. The staff were friendly and not just workers but I felt were well educated experts in the industry of landscaping. I found their prices could not be beat! I was able to pick up Lava Stones was cheaper than what pet stores and aquarium fish stores sell them for and extremely cheaper than retail hardware type stores like Home Depot. I will honestly say and I did extensive research on pricing and Southwest beat their peer competitors by an astonishing level! If you're shopping for anything Landscaping you'd be foolish not to come here. They have earned my business now and in the future. In have a few associates who are in construction and outdoor decor landscapers that specialize in aesthetic design... I bragged to some about my pleasant experience here at SouthWest and asked my friends and associates if they heard of the store and they smiled and said "of course" as they're already loyal customers and consider this as one of the best "go to" sources they use professionally. They gave great testimonials instilling confidence and customer satisfaction in their feedback and opinions. What sets Southwest from others is it's a Landscaping Super Store with Supplies, Expert Staff and everything your project will need. I have a Tropitone fire pit I've owned for about 10 years. This company makes a quality product…read more It's not cheap but it's worth the price. It gets a lot of use with all the grandkids swimming all day (almost every day) in the pool and then roasting marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening. Recently, it developed a small leak in the pilot tube. It's a 12 inch aluminum tube that connects the LP valve to the pilot assembly. It should be an off the shelf product. You can buy these for any outdoor product that runs on LPG. A 12 inch tube with the fittings sells for $10 to $20 on line or at any Home Depot. Tropitone chose to use one in there fire pit with a different size brass fitting on one end. It can't be found online so I called California Home Spas & Patio to order one. I spoke with Ana about ordering a replacement. I gave her the model number of the fire pit and e-mailed photos of the tube and the connection points on the unit. A week went by, I called again and was told she would call Tropitone and get it sorted out. I didn't get a call back from her. Called again and got the same result. After a month of waiting, I drove there and spoke to Ana. The first thing she said was that she had been thinking of me and was planning to call. Then she told me that Tropitone had changed ownership and that a lot of their staff had left the company and that the new employees were not very knowledgeable and followed with a few thinly veiled racial slurs about them. She finally called Tropitone, spoke with a parts person and got the price. I waited for a month and it took her less than 5 minutes to get all of the information. I wasn't happy that I had to drive there to actually get some help, especially when it could have been done with a phone call. She said she could order it and have it shipped directly from Tropitone. Then came the cost. $200+ dollars plus shipping. I thought she was joking...she was not. I asked if there was a mistake. It should have been no more than $20. She had no answer; she just wanted to know if I wanted her to order it. She finally offered to talk to one of the people in their parts department for me. She came back, holding the entire assembly, including the pilot tube and explained that Tropitone doesn't sell the tube, only the whole assembly. I'll never buy another Tropitone product again. They don't talk to customers and work through their dealers. There's no email of phone number on their website. Trying to sell me a lot of parts I didn't need just to get a 12 inch tube with stock brass fittings is price gouging. I'm more disappointed in the lack of any customer service from California Home Spas & Patio. I would have never got another call from Ana. They love it when you buy from them but when you walk out the door, you're on your own. I found what I needed on Amazon Prime. It's the same thing Ana tried to sell me for over $200. I bought it from Amazon for $37.98. I saved about $200 and my fire pit works fine. My recommendation is to stay clear of California Home Spas & Patio and Tropitone.

Soon it will be 100% Rust-oleum. The sooner the better. The paint store I took a chair to said it was not properly prepared for powder coating, never should have delaminated like this.
