I am so grateful for her service. In addition Victoria, Sales Manager is very knowledgeable on their outdoor furniture. She made my purchase of cushions for the 4 club chairs we bought at the recent sale very easy. While the furniture is undeniably beautiful, the customer service was surprisingly poor. I purchased five items during their anniversary sale, where everything was sold "as is." After dealing with an overcharge on my credit card, I was told I'd receive a call the next day to schedule delivery, which I paid $99 for. That call never came until I followed up on social media three days later. It wasn't until August 27 that I finally heard from someone to schedule the delivery. On September 11, the delivery arrived, but one of the pieces was not what I had ordered. I immediately called customer service and sent photos of the correct item. They did offer to refund the incorrect item, but instead of taking ownership, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I also requested a refund of the $99 delivery fee, since the service I paid for (delivering the correct items) wasn't fulfilled. Later, I saw some internal emails by mistake, and it became clear they had no intention of refunding the delivery fee. The whole interaction left me feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why they wouldn't just refund such a small fee to keep a customer. Despite being excited about the furniture itself, this experience has soured me on purchasing from them again. My advice: take photos of everything you buy and be prepared for potential issues. If they're willing to lose a customer over $99, it raises concerns about their overall business practices.

I was pleasantly surprised by the showroom, and immediately noted the elevated customer experience compared to other stone yards and landscape supply stores I've frequented. Ivan Sandoval greeted me and offered a tour. He noted the various products I had selected: 2 DG with added stabilizer, 2 gravel options, patio paver options and small boulders. He moved pallets for me to be able to make individual selections. I'm thrilled to have chosen 1 of each of these items to move forward with my project, and I'm now prepared to order in bulk. I like their website as well with actual project photos identifying the specific materials. Now I'm motivated to plan out my next project!

This branch recently opened so we thought we'd check it out as a possibility for some work we're considering. Quite often you wind up wandering around these stores and have to chase down help. We were approached several times by very friendly employees who answered our questions and had suggestions. The inventory was extensive and impressive. Can't speak to the pricing and delivery as this was more an exploratory visit, but we intend to return when we have exact specs. Would highly recommend for service so far.

    I have a Tropitone fire pit I've owned for about 10 years. This company makes a quality product…read more It's not cheap but it's worth the price. It gets a lot of use with all the grandkids swimming all day (almost every day) in the pool and then roasting marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening. Recently, it developed a small leak in the pilot tube. It's a 12 inch aluminum tube that connects the LP valve to the pilot assembly. It should be an off the shelf product. You can buy these for any outdoor product that runs on LPG. A 12 inch tube with the fittings sells for $10 to $20 on line or at any Home Depot. Tropitone chose to use one in there fire pit with a different size brass fitting on one end. It can't be found online so I called California Home Spas & Patio to order one. I spoke with Ana about ordering a replacement. I gave her the model number of the fire pit and e-mailed photos of the tube and the connection points on the unit. A week went by, I called again and was told she would call Tropitone and get it sorted out. I didn't get a call back from her. Called again and got the same result. After a month of waiting, I drove there and spoke to Ana. The first thing she said was that she had been thinking of me and was planning to call. Then she told me that Tropitone had changed ownership and that a lot of their staff had left the company and that the new employees were not very knowledgeable and followed with a few thinly veiled racial slurs about them. She finally called Tropitone, spoke with a parts person and got the price. I waited for a month and it took her less than 5 minutes to get all of the information. I wasn't happy that I had to drive there to actually get some help, especially when it could have been done with a phone call. She said she could order it and have it shipped directly from Tropitone. Then came the cost. $200+ dollars plus shipping. I thought she was joking...she was not. I asked if there was a mistake. It should have been no more than $20. She had no answer; she just wanted to know if I wanted her to order it. She finally offered to talk to one of the people in their parts department for me. She came back, holding the entire assembly, including the pilot tube and explained that Tropitone doesn't sell the tube, only the whole assembly. I'll never buy another Tropitone product again. They don't talk to customers and work through their dealers. There's no email of phone number on their website. Trying to sell me a lot of parts I didn't need just to get a 12 inch tube with stock brass fittings is price gouging. I'm more disappointed in the lack of any customer service from California Home Spas & Patio. I would have never got another call from Ana. They love it when you buy from them but when you walk out the door, you're on your own. I found what I needed on Amazon Prime. It's the same thing Ana tried to sell me for over $200. I bought it from Amazon for $37.98. I saved about $200 and my fire pit works fine. My recommendation is to stay clear of California Home Spas & Patio and Tropitone.
