Alex was very responsive throughout the planning and execution process, and even oversaw the entire installation. His crew were dedicated and skilled workers who were very kind. Scope of the project included covering an existing concrete slab. Alex made sure to add 3-4 inch rebar dowels every 24 inches and wire mesh to give the new layer something finer to hold on to, in addition to the binding agent for a more firm fusion. We also paid extra for the 3,500 PSI rated concrete given the Texas heat. Further, he extended the sides of our driveway, replacing the paver stone and gravel with level concrete. This also included fixing part of the walkway that had been pushed up by Live Oak roots, which was a tripping hazard, and now forming a smooth transition. Alex was also great when it came to pricing. He was very transparent, and me not being a concrete guy, asked a good friend who's been a general contractor for 30+ years to review the proposal and methods, and follow the work, all of which he said was done expertly. Since when was the issue of the quality of your service pertaining to the before and after? Rhetorical question - it's not. If you read what I wrote and of others who are reading care to look at the picture I posted of what you said you were going to do VS what you actually did, anyone could plainly see that you were absolutely not even in the same realm of finished product... which you lead me to believe is what you'd do, for 5k... Now, considering the job was so poorly done with not even the slightest consideration given to doing a patch and asking me if that's what I wanted since it was so different, I can only infer that your company is too busy trying to rush a job and get paid rather than apply critical thinking. Don't try to cloud the issue by showing the poorly done stain that another company did before I hired you... Yes, believe it or not (anyone who's reading) this happened before this particular company came in and ruined my floor. I asked for a certain style, the contractor said they could do it, and it came out horribly done and not even close to what was agreed upon as the finished product I was paying for. How could this happen to me twice in a row? Very bad luck in choosing a floor specialist apparently. You can show whatever before and after you want, but the important one is what YOUR company gave me as the example work, and then the completely different floor you did, and on top of it all you had the nerve to charge me saying you could fix it and didn't, and now you have the nerve to try and defend yourself by moving the goal posts by posting a picture that's unrelated to my issue. I'm not a litigious person but I'm telling you now I've got a mind to go to small claims with this, the more I think about it. The painter said that it has to be repainted. Martin was demanding that I allow him to try to clean it off. The painter told him that chemicals cannot be used on my white stucco as it would damage it. Martin is refusing to pay for the damage that he caused.
