Great work with brow threading, not too rough and fast service and fair prices for the area

my first time coming here and Shelly did an amazing job on my brows. definitely recommend!

I wanted to love this place. I hate leaving bad reviews, however after spending $87 (including tip) for threading and tinting of eyebrows and lash extensions I am forced to leave this review in hopes that the establishment will take heed to avoid this happening again Everything went well except my lash extensions. I feel like the woman performing the service would have taken more care to the service has it not been for another woman waiting, and constantly making comments about having to extend her meeting because she has to wait. I could tell this was a frequent customer. Well my eyelashes on my right eye are not neat and the clusters are literally scraping my eye. I just got back to work and had to take a cluster from the corner off my eye because of the irritation and redness it caused to my eye. There is also a cluster in the same eye hanging that hurts every time I blink. A simple clean up and removal of this hanging clusters would have sufficed but that wasn't the case for me. She told me the white clumps were because I kept tearing, but there is nothing on my left eye. It's done perfect. That eye she completed first when no one else was in the shop. The right eye suffered because she rushed it in order to do someone else- in my honest opinion Sadly, I will not be coming back. Just not worth the headache... or the money I spent there. read more

I stopped going here when Sabu left. The replacement lady was rough and not friendly at all. When I say rough, instead of gently moving my face she yanked it from one side to the other. Plus I walked in and she was eating her breakfast, and seemed annoyed that she had to stop. I did mention I was not in a rush. I could have waited. But that was my one and only time with her. And that was when Sabu needed to take personal time off. So I don't go there anymore. And I would go religiously every week. The owner was not friendly. I personally think he made a big mistake letting her go. read more

Best place to get your eyebrows town in Mamaroneck! I love my newly threaded eyebrows

The last two times I had went it seems that the employees there was not giving as much attention to detail and care as I would expect for an eyebrow service (Each service I describe has been done by two separate employees) The last time there was a lot of women waiting to get their eyebrows done so she was in a rush which I understood at the time, I plucked the hairs she missed and made it even. The second time I went there was nobody in the store after me. But it still felt rushed. Usually they would hand you the hand mirror to double check if it's to your liking but she just said it was done and if I liked it. I looked into the mirror in the wall and said it was okay, but she didn't. When I got home and look closer I saw the right eyebrow was uneven. A chunk of the top of the brow towards the end was taken out making it looked like theres a dip rather than a clean line. The way she cut the front of the brow makes it look curved/slopes combated to the left brow which is more clean cut. The left brow was so much better, but even still there were hairs that were missed making it look messy rather than clean. I would post a picture but I'm too embarrassed of them. I ordered some eyebrow tint hoping to fill in the gaps until those hairs grow back. Since it takes so long for my eyebrows to grow, it's usually 2 to 3 months between getting them done and now due to this mistake with my right eyebrow, I won't be able to fix it until the hair grows back. I had been going here for years but the new girls are not nearly as good as Sabu who had left I honestly don't know if I'll return back here after the hair grows back, and I already showed my sister and mom who goes there now to be careful with there brows. read more

I had been going for a couple of years to see the very kind woman who did a very professional job, perhaps her name is Sabu??) she was attentive to my skin sensitivity, was gentle and remembered not to use products other than water in my skin- plus did a very good, clean threading. Unfortunately, she is no longer there. The quality of service and overall experience has gone way down. The girls that are working there now are rough, have a bad attitude and do not do a clean threading. Does anyone know where the previous woman is working? read more

I had been going to the same woman for years at this location, last week I stopped by and was told the woman I normally use was off today, and the heavier set woman had been doing this for years so I was in good hands. After I realized she was still learning from the way she was trying to thread my eyebrows, I asked to get up and when I looked at my face, she took off half of my right eyebrow. Literally half. And botched part of the other one as well. I was furious and when I asked the other girl that worked there what happened to the other woman she whispered that she had quit . I used to love this place but the people they have left are literally still learning how to do their job and the owner is a fat lying pos. read more

I used to come here for the past few years. I recently came in and I learned that my normal threading lady, Sabu, is no longer there. I am very picky with my eyebrows and do not allow anybody but Sabu touch me. The other girls there are super rough and messed up my eyebrows in the past. It's a BIG loss that Sabu is no longer with Sam's threading salon. There is nobody better than Sabu! Best of luck to Sam's because they're gonna need it without Sabu. read more

The only place I get threaded - The space has easy street parking, the women that work there are very sweet and they are really good at what they do. They offer reasonable prices and they have a "Buy 10, get one free" card, which since my eyebrows always grow back, the likely hood of me cashing in on that deal is more often than you think. read more

I have been to a few places to get my eyebrows threaded and this by far is the best. I have such sensitive skin and the threading usually makes me tear up but here I didn't shed one tear. Prices are lower than most places and they definitely know what they are doing. My younger sister came with me for the first one to get them threaded and she didn't feel no pain at all. Great place! Everybody is very friendly but I'm telling you now do not go here. The younger girl who does brows is horrible. I grew my brows out for 4 months, came in yesterday and she made them extremely uneven and didn't touch the top. So they're bushy on top but threaded on the bottom. read more

Eyelash service was atrocious. I was desperate to get my eyelashes done for a wedding that day and I didn't have time to go to my regular place in K-town NYC. The girl (only person there that day/time) put heavy clumps of glue. I pointed it out and she pretended to have no idea what I was talking about.. I had to get it immediately removed after doing one upper eyelash. I was terrified she wasn't going to be able to remove them or that if she did all my natural eyelashes were gonna go with them. They should not be doing eyelashes on anyone when they have no knowledge of how to apply it correctly and professionally. Will never ever come back here again. read more

I will never go back!! Lost a loyal customer today. I have been going here all year for eyebrows and had gotten eyelashes done one time. Today I went back for eyebrows $10 and eyelashes once again $35...the woman dropped an eyelash in my eye and poked it with the tweezers trying to get it out. It hurt soo badly!! I still can not open my eye 30 minutes later and when I peel it open I can see a gash on my eyeball...accidents happen it would have been fine, but I was crying, in pain and eye completely red and I did not get one apology and I was charged full price. $45 Went to hospital 3 cornea incisions..now medication and doctor bills read more
