So I went home to take care of some things and waited for their call. They called me to come in and I basically said I'll have to get ready to step out since I was in the middle of applying a mask so give me a few minutes. I get there and what I walked into was an unfriendly welcoming from the nail techs, no greeting, no smile, just side eyes as if I was not the type of customer they wanted there. I dont know if its cause I had a hair cap on for my hair mask or because I was the only afro-latina in there. Even the customers were stand offish mind you thats not even the most aesthetic spa in the area. Zen Shu is and they weren't like this not even close. I told them what I was there for and I was told the lady left? 2x. Like what do you mean I spoke to you guys 20 minutes ago and you told me to come in. Then the lady from the front finally comes out says the girl "went to the store", that I will have to wait. Then proceeds to ask if I want to wait???? UH yess! I waited an hour for you to finish a service and I came outside like this, OF COURSE! You would think thats common sense. But no it's because the wax lady which apparently is the only one that does waxes there probably went home. Thats the only reason I can think of. So I waited maybe 5-8 minutes until I left and took my money to Beauty Spa, which is what I should've done in the first place. They were very attentive once I walked in, immediately stopped what they were doing and took care of me. I'm very disappointed in the latin community here, I worked in hospitality/customer service before so I understand the work behind it. But I was certainly not expecting this treatment after being called to come in. I absolutely hate wasting my time and today was a long list of to dos before I travel. They need to improve on their customer service as a whole. I would not be recommending my family or friends here at all. Theres so much better though you might spend a bit more, but care, hospitality and TIME is high on my list.

tl;dr : Not worth it, even with a Groupon/Amazon Local voucher…read more First off, this isn't really a spa - it's a room inside a yoga studio, and as far as I can tell, massage is the only service offered. To call it a "spa" is a little misleading. I bought an Amazon Local voucher for 3 massages. I received the first two. Both were lacking, but not terrible. Joanne (whom I believe is the only masseuse offering services at this "spa") was nice enough, but she only focused on my back - no other parts of the body. During the second massage, she spent almost the entire hour focusing on the shoulder that DIDN'T hurt (the other one did). When I said something, she did go over the hour and did the other shoulder too, but not before she insisted that the shoulder she had been working on was the problem. Which you know, fine, I'm not sure how much of an expert she is, but she probably felt something. The thing is, I was feeling pain somewhere else and I wanted that addressed too. Also, I'm the type who has issues relaxing into a massage if I'm wondering what the hell the masseuse is doing. Neither massage was relaxing (more stressful, I would say, having my one shoulder pounded on for an hour) and neither made me feel better after. Given the so-so experience of the first two massages, I didn't feel that inclined to return until I noticed my voucher was about to expire. I tried calling Joanne and was never able to get a hold of her. I tried a couple weeks later, and this time did get a hold of her, but she didn't have any availability before I went out of town. I tried when I got back into town, but her VM box was full. I sent an email through the website, and still haven't heard back. Of course my voucher is expired now. I'm not that torn up about it but I am annoyed that I didn't get my money's worth. Next time I'm skipping using a voucher and going somewhere more legit.
