Been here a couple times. The first time was a variety concert where people I never heard of performed. A friend of mine had extra tickets and I had nothing going on so off we went. The concert was actually pretty good. Sound quality was clear. Seating was a bit uncomfortable for it was all folding seats and it was all mashed together really close. If your are a heavy set person you will not fit on one chair and you will not have any elbow room whatsoever. The second time it was just recently and it was called "Impact Wrestling". Again im glad I got free tickets to this for it was more like a comedy then wrestling. The arena was set up pretty nicely just like how you would see a WWE match on tv only here it was a smaller version. Really not a bad seat in the house. I would describe the seating arrangements as more cozy than anything. Where this is located its in an ideal spot because its right next to a movie theater, buffet, and food court. Im surprised there are not more major events scheduled here. Hopefully the next event I go to is worthwhile. Yelp 2018 Review #74 743 overall

She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail. She made the entire process feel easy and stress free. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly because of her and DJ Syd. The photographer, whose name I sadly forget, perfectly captured our memories. The food was amazing (get the chicken piccata). Our guests are still talking about it. Every dish was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. The service was even better than we expected. The staff was attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our day special. Perhaps best of all, is the fact that we weren't nickel and dimed. Their pricing was up front and truly turnkey. The value for our money was amazing. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Las Vegas, this is the place. The Side Yard exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have asked for a better experience.

If you're looking for a venue, this is it!!! I'm going to start off by telling you to BOOK NOW,…read morebecause THE DATES FILL UP QUICK!!! Matt and Liz Meagher are so easy to work with and you can do SO MUCH to make your event your own!! They really help take your event OVER THE TOP!!! I was just in there and the renovations look CLASSY!!! They have a DJ, dance floor, and lighting (if you've priced this out alone, you know what I'm sayin'!!), a bar area, TV screens and drop down screens, the linen and color choices are SO good, the center pieces are SO up to date, these classy chandeliers that hang from the ceiling are my fave, the backdrop is beautiful and a PLUS... they just renovated their bathrooms.... Important detail for a venue that the Meager's know that matter. I've been to SEVERAL events here and they have had plenty of room for a photo booth, cake table, catering. That's another thing, you can bring in your own catering. They just know how what it takes to make your event special. I'm telling you, you won't find another venue like this!! So, book it now, because their dates go quick!!!

If couples are looking for a place to come in, with minimal set up needed...this is a good place…read more If you use the venue in the off season...not June for example...you will have better communication with venue operator. During May-June, they are swamped with business, which is good for them...but not so good if you need answers in a timely manner. The price is also very reasonable. The Good: *The space is a good size, and the owner was accommodating with matching my desired color scheme. Tables were set up prior to use arriving for our set up. *Being able to build our own bar was a huge bonus. The night of the wedding, the bartender kept the drinks flowing and the guests happy. We had zero complaints about that. *We were allowed to bring our own food and cake. Also a bonus. Many venues won't allow you to do that. * The DJ is included in the package we got. Also a nice touch seeing how a separate DJ can be quite expensive. *Location is easy to find and close to freeway access * The house decorations are nice, and for events w/o a particular theme...you don't really need anything extra. The downsides: * As our date got closer, communication started to get a bit choppy...which as a bride...can be pretty stressful, *There was a teeny tiny window (quoted for one hour)for drop off of decorations and equipment in the morning. This made an actual sound check for the band impossible. As a result, there were issues with the sound during the band performance later in the reception. *There wasn't a kitchen grade sink to rinse food equipment, so my maid of honor had to take dirty (cake cutting knives and catering trays) home in a box with food stuck to them. *The handicap bathroom stall in the women's bathroom did not lock. *I knew ahead of time about the state of the "getting ready" area in the back where we line up was just a few chairs. Not factored into rating, just an FYI * I had an very specific timeline I sent to the owner of when to play music and what to announce. They botched my procession for the wedding party by sending my children before their song started, then cued the wrong song in the middle of the wedding party. The song I had was supposed to play out until all members of the party (save ring security and flower girl had made their way down). Then, at the end of the ceremony, they started the recessional song too soon, and then didn't let it play out till the end. They were supposed to invite couples to join the dance floor during the first dance, but waited too long, and we had to motion for them to join. After first dance, they were supposed to announce the Welcome Speech, but instead, they let everyone go line up for bar/food. When cuing the buffet line, they weren't watching the line and just played songs into each other so the line backed up...instead of giving them space between tables. -They haphazardly called people over to the cake...and the Maid of Honor was outside and almost missed it. They started playing the music for the cake before Bride and Groom were even ready. We didn't even have a plate to put the cake on. We felt sort of rushed to get through the cake. Aside from these issues, we had a fantastic wedding. Not one of our guests had an issue with anything...the issues listed above are listed are not major...and with all the details I had listed, it's only human for errors to be made. Our guests loved it...and said it was one of the best, if not THE best, weddings they had ever been to. I'd encourage brides not to book in May or June if they way a 5 star experience...and keep it simple. The more you add, the more room for stress and error.

Well come to find out they do not even have a valid liquor license, and the said bartender didn't even show up until after the wedding started. We had to go buy WATER! Our guest didn't even have water! We paid a $500 fee, also in our contract, for assistance with set and break down and received NO help. But the kicker, while we were headed to our wedding, the property manager called us and told us there would be no cannabis consumption or the police would be called. We signed our contract with the event coordinator Deedee Lovato, and she didn't even tell anyone there would be smoking. She's a scam artist! She had her KIDS bartending and didn't even show face the day of the wedding. I bet her kids didn't even have a health card. Thank goodness I hired a great catering company and DJ, and luckily they made our day very special! This place has so much potential! Whoever is in charge- fire Deedee, and get a real event coordinator, you may actually make some money. Edit: I was promised a bridal suite to be able to change my outfit or for people to get ready and and it was completely filled with storage. I didn't even have access to it. There was clear and honest communication between the client and myself, and I confirmed a 12:00 PM delivery time the morning of the event. I was also informed by my client that the banquet hall opens at 12:00 PM for them, which would be appropriate for delivery. I was not informed that the owner, Ray, was expecting me earlier, and I was completely unaware he was waiting prior to that time. Despite this, I received a VERY hostile and unprofessional phone call from Ray, accusing me of making him wait for hours. When I attempted to calmly explain the miscommunication, he refused to listen and spoke to me extremely disrespectful. Amongst many things said, he gave me an ultimatum, "3:00 PM or don't bother showing up or doing business with the couple at all," and added that he did not care. This was a situation that could have been resolved with basic communication and professionalism. Instead, it escalated unnecessarily, despite the fact that I was not the vendor hired by the venue. After speaking with the couple, they apologized repeatedly and shared that they had also experienced ongoing communication issues and other difficulties with Ray at this banquet hall. I caution other outside vendors to clarify expectations in advance, as professionalism and respectful communication were significantly lacking in this experience.

In an email later, Ashley informs us it's "Force Majeure" and that it would be impractical and impossible for the venue to host our wedding. After I spent about 15 minutes laughing at a non attorney explaining the law to the two of us (two attorneys)and that too incorrectly... I proceeded to freak out. This is bad business and we have been told they are looking to sell the business. I for one will be keeping an eye on this corporation and the officers involved. NO bride and groom should have to go through this while planning their wedding and the damage caused emotionally and financially is unforgivable. Get an ACTUAL attorney to do your work instead of a sales girl hired by daddy. Bad business practice that will follow them.

Farrar Wedding 2025…read more Absolutely an experience! We had our wedding event here on July 19, 2025. From the moment we sat down with David to discuss what we wanted, he was incredibly understanding of our budget and knew exactly how to make our day as beautiful as I imagined! Everything was beyond exceptional--our guests loved the venue and couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything and everyone was. I always have and will continue to recommend Factory of Dreams and/or Skyview Banquet Hall to anyone looking for a venue! That said, we did experience a few hiccups during the planning process. Communication with Chef Francisco G. wasn't the best--he wasn't timely in responding, which caused some stress. However, the food turned out good on the day of the event, though I was surprised and a bit disappointed that the kids were served Little Caesars pizza. As for Irma, who I was told was the event coordinator--she was very sweet and helpful in the beginning. But when it came time for the wedding rehearsal, I was told I had to find my own coordinator. This was frustrating because I had gone over all the event timing with her, so I assumed she would be the one handling it. If I needed to bring in someone else, I wish I had been told upfront--it would have saved some last-minute stress before my big day. And id also like to give a big thanks to the Bakery used Cakes Las Vegas so good with the flavors my husband does not like sweets but he did enjoy your cake. Despite these issues, I truly thank the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You all helped make our wedding a day to remember!

Everything looked so perfect. The colors were great!! The curtains that hung from the ceiling have lights all in them & when it gets dark inside & they turn them on it was soooooo pretty!! The guest of honor was able to arrive at the top of a staircase inside & walk down that stairs. There is also is a little room off to the side where they set up a photo booth. There was a young lady who was introducing the guest, her court & other guests. When the speaker announced it was time to eat & that she would call one table at a time I had NO idea where the buffet was. I thought it was going to be a long table of food but it was inside this little room. There were 2 servers & there was a little bit of a wait. It would of been nice if they supplied butter for the bread & plain spaghetti along with some black pepper. There was no salt & pepper shakers to be found. I was a little bummed not to see any seltzers or sliced lemons at the bar. Also it would of been nice to know it was a CASH ONLY BAR. I talked with my friend & she said she wasn't even aware it was cash only. That is something that the owners may want to tell their guest when they are looking to book this hall. I don't carry much cash on me & they were charging $10 for a Tito's. The girl also announced after they were done serving the food it would still be available for guests & just to let them know. I was actually hungry & could have gone for seconds but never saw anyone to ask. My friend arrived after the food was served with her 2 kids and no one came over to her. The staff was very, very slow to come pick up dirty dishes off the tables. I was not impressed by this. No one came to see if we needed our water pitches refilled. My empty drink cup sat on the table the whole night. I did like how they had a water bubbler next to the bar with cups to serve yourself water. It was pretty sad how the staff demolished the cake while cutting it. The pieces were all different sizes & just a hot mess at the end. See photo. They did a beautiful job on the setup & decorations but the staff definitely needs some improvement on taking care of the guests dirty dishes & checking on everyone. Due to this I'm giving this place a 4 star review.
