The above was my review right after my tattoo by Brian. Way to many months have past, and this dumb blond obviously forgot to hit "post review". Anyways, way back when I was showing off my latest tattoo to my family back in the Netherlands my sister got so enthusiastic she booked a flight (May 2017), told me to "please book appointment with Brian" and came over for him to do the same tattoo on her. I feel should explain; for years I've been trying to get my sister her 1st tattoo, and for it to be a sisters one. I showed her many ideas before and usually got a ", not sure", until I came up with a rough draft for a sisters/family design (as to have my family close, having lived overseas and missing them daily), as I showed it to my sister she fell in love with the simple design on paper and said she would love this, Yes! she wanted one too. She wanted me to help her find a good artist in Amsterdam blahblah, moving forward... for myself I found Brian who made my design absolutely gorgeous so when sis saw it she knew she wanted him to ink her as well. I got depressed after the tattoo for a long time. Finally, I found the strength to come up and post a review today! I have ink on my entire body and this was the worst tattoo. The line was crooked and the ink broke under my skin indicating the technique in depositing the ink was wrong! The artist gave my boyfriend a discount after the work because he knew he messed up! I tried so hard to be nice but after 2-3 years I still want to cry everytime I look back at it because it's so bad and it's on my neck. I broke up with my ex because he introduced me to such a horrifying experience. I will have to have it covered up even if I have to black out my entire neck. It was one of the couple tattoos we got. While lining up my ex's neck, he crooked the tattoo in which I reminded him but he got mad! My words to the person who hold up the tattoo gun to ink me 2 years ago: just because you hold it up and know how to run it doesn't make you an artist, just because of a couple hundreds bucks you hurt me intensely because tattooing is holy to me and I treat it as a religion. Booked AND paid my deposit and had PLENTY of dates to choose from. Very easy on/through her website. Received an email prior with the address and instructions which made finding it super easy!! She is in a Salon Suite like Sola Salons and others. Super cute and cozy suite. My ONLY suggestion for new clients - bring a blanket or something warm because it's COLD in there. It is very inviting, and doesn't look like what most people believe a "Tattoo Studio" is. Very clean and modern and comfortable. We chose our stencil size, location and got to it. It was SO fast and easy but the CRAZY part to me was the complete LACK of pain. I mean I have a LOT of tattoos and y'all this had a 0 on the scale of 0-10. When she did my second, the rose, I almost fell asleep lol and I can tell you I have definitely b****** out with tattoos before and had to take breaks because of pain but 0 pain. My best friend apparently has a very different pain tolerance because she was definitely saying it hurt. That absolutely shocked me and Rachel. So she did her initial pass and put Lidocaine on it for her, which she said was much better. Rachel was all about making us comfortable and making sure we loved it. Another tip for anyone scared of tattoos, her gun is a wireless one and it's SO quiet. Not a bunch of noisy vibration that amps up your fear. I found Rachel because my neighbor got her first tattoos with her and she is GREAT!!! I'll definitely be back for many more!!

I came in for a coverup, and was not told that it would take two sessions with a minimum of $500 for each visit. The first visit was unnecessary, he had no idea how he was going to perform my coverup. He blasted the coverup area with grey that didn't hold very well. The second visit, he completely changed the plans for the cover up to something I didn't like so I had to wait until we figured something out when he initially said he was super confident to perform the coverup as planned. There are also grey areas he was too stoned to remember to cover up. Also during the first visit, it looks like he just rolled out of bed and came to work, messy hair in a ponytail he clearly slept in, also in his pajamas... During the second visit, I brought an 18yr old family member. Dustin proceeded to smoke weed/dabs twice in front of us. He then made comments about a trans person throughout the entire session, and not in a positive way. I'm hard to shake and this guy gave off weird vibes. Not creepy, just... weird... Could not wait to get out of there. And I am not 100% please with the coverup but no way am I going back. I feel ripped off.
