BEWARE! All sales are final, even with a receipt. They do not tell you that when you buy something. But if you try to return an item they tell you there is a sign on the back wall they says all sales are final. Who looks at the back wall of a store to see their return policy? Also, the receipt they email you says all sales are final too, but you don't know that until later when you get the email. EVEN WORSE! I was looking at diamond stud earnings because I wanted the real stone. They told me that moissanite is a natural stone versus lab created. In fact, naturally occurring moissanite is extremely rare and most of the moissanite on the market is lab grown. No doubt, the earnings they sold me were lab grown. 1) Rings were 6 days late from when promised...making the ring late for my son's 18th birthday. 2) Rings were resized twice...and needed a third resizing. What we learned later was instead of it being sized at 7.5 it was resized at 7.25. 3) The metal was so thin after being in their shop twice and it needed to be repaired. 4) THE LARGE EMERALD, I AM GUESSING to be a 3/4 ct. Emerald was chipped while in their possession. (The store manager after his inspection said the stones were "perfect" that they just needed polished up.) I have the receipt where it was not damaged. 5) The other ring the shank was destroyed and has to be replaced. 6) Charged $69/ring for resizing instead of the quoted $57. 7) Manager would not get off the call from his boyfriend to service us. I could go on and on... I Sent a letter to the corporate office...they called me back and was all apologetic...despite my troubles at that time all I wanted was to be refunded the $69 that they charged my for one of the rings. They said they wanted to get the store manager's version... They called back a couple days later and and it sounded more like they were trying to cover themselves for a lawsuit rather than satisfying a customer.. They told me that we signed a receipt stating that the ring was in good condition...if they have one it is a forgery!!!!! Bottom line no refund...now I want the costs of the repairs and the emerald!!!! I plan to sue them in open court... STAY AWAY FROM SAMUEL'S JEWELERS...not to mention we saved over $2500 on our wedding set at another competitor...same exact ring...in fact the diamond was a higher grade. read more

The short version: The people who work at the store are fine, but the corporate policies there are rubbish and they have the most customer-hostile warranty plan I've ever seen. The long version: My husband and I bought my engagement ring from Samuels while we were visiting for the holidays in 2012. We were really pleased with our purchase at first because the associate who sold it to us was really nice and the ring we bought was (and still is) beautiful. Also, we were happy that Samuels offered a lifetime warranty on the condition that we had our ring inspected periodically. When we purchased the ring, we were told it needed to be inspected once a year (which seemed reasonable enough). A couple of weeks after we got our ring, one of the smaller diamonds fell out. Fortunately, I was able to ship our ring to the store to get the diamond replaced with no issues. I sent my ring to them and they sent it back with a new stone in it. No complaints whatsoever. Five months later, I needed to get another diamond replaced. This time, we brought the ring in in person since we were in town anyway. We were expecting them to replace the ring without any issues because, well, it was just so easy last time. That didn't turn out to be the case. First we were asked for documentation on when my ring had last been serviced. We didn't have it because 1) no one asked for it last time and 2) no one gave us any documentation of when my ring was last serviced. It turns out corporate had been cracking down on stores lately for not following the warranty policy to the letter. What was especially irksome about this was that no one seemed particularly inclined to look into the store records to find out when we had sent the ring there last (because seriously, who wouldn't keep records of this stuff?). We finally got them to service the ring after MAKING them look through their records to find when I had last sent my ring to them. Honestly, I felt like we were given a hard time for not knowing about changes in store policy and faulted for not having documentation that no one ever gave us. We've been back to get the ring inspected/cleaned since this incident, but that whole kerfuffle was enough to ensure that we will never want to buy jewelry from any Samuels (or any of its sisters stores) again. read more

I'm usually pretty skeptical because I've been burned in the past, so I waited to post this review until after the rings had been resized...etc. I bought our wedding rings here, and they even let me resize my wife's for free (same day I made the purchase), when I realized I had chosen the wrong size! I was very satisfied with Leannes work. She was great she did everything the jewelry store below didn't do. Samuels made me feel like I was educated when I left which I was not before I came. The general manager or manager I believe his name was Brett was extremely helpful and the sales associate always said let me talk to my manager if there was a circumstance that she was not Knowledgeable in. I walked in to get my rings cleaned last Th. Aug 29. Only to be greeted by a friendly male associate whom graciously cleaned 3 of my rings. I couldn't believe how beautiful they looked when he brought them out! Ihave never had them look like they were new before! GOOD JOB! Great employee! read more
