I know diamonds, so I brought them a new guard diamond to install which was higher quality than the original. The pricing was very fair and the turn around time was quicker than promised. They fixed the weak spot by making an almost identical ring that they could weld to the original, and it looked great. They gave us many options, price points, and were respectful of our wishes. Love the staff here! I called and decided to visit based on her knowledge of the Oregon Sunstone their selection of those stones and competition cuts. I went in and it was so cute in the store with a beautiful saltwater fish tank. The entire staff makes you feel at home and will answer all your questions and give you the best option. Took about seven watches in to get battery replacements, an adjustment, and one had a broken clasp, and they were able to get them back to me in about an hour with the watches set to the correct time. Having my gold bracelet clasp repaired, it lasted no more than a month. Returning it to the store, they charged me an additional $75 for fixing their repair and said it was a new break. I think it was the same break. Additionally they never returned the gold links that were removed from the bracelet the first time. I will go to a more reputable jeweler for my future needs. My custom engagement ring broke and the store that I bought it from is no longer in the valley. I took it to Goldsmiths because I'd been there before to see if they could repair my eyeglasses (they couldn't, I broke them in the worst possible spot). Anyhow, I immediately thought of them because when I inquired about my glasses they were so nice and upfront. My ring was pretty mangled, and it bent so much one of the melee diamonds (pave) popped out. Under the head/basket of my main stone was a huge crack. I've only been wearing my ring for 4 years, but it's a delicate design. The team at Goldsmiths not only repaired my engagement ring, but to give it strength they also suggested I solder it to my wedding band. My ring is a beautiful shade of peachy rose gold and a unique, intricate design with a floating halo. You can't even tell was ever damaged. It looks BEAUTIFUL. So, as promised, we went back to Dave at Goldsmiths to buy our wedding bands...what a wonderful experience! This was my first time working with Dave (as my fiance designed my engagement ring with Dave without my knowledge) and he is extremely approachable; a very kind, easy-going, non-pushy and talented jeweler. He gave us a really stellar deal on our gold wedding bands. I wanted a celtic-inspired wedding band and dave was able to custom order it for me. It was exactly like the pictures he showed me online and it came in within 2 weeks. My fiance is extremely happy with his wedding band as well. I also brought in some older jewelry to do the whole "cash for gold" thing and he gave me a really fair price for the items I brought in. I was able to use that credit towards having a gold chain repaired and even had a good amount leftover after the repair was rung up. He even polished my engagement ring while we were standing around talking. If you want a talented jeweler who really CARES about what you want, will take the time to educate you, and be fair and upfront about pricing, then you need to go to Dave. He is the man. They cheerfully ordered another set for me and told me they would take my old frames when the new came in. I contacted Goldsmiths at 2 PM and they said, "Yes we can fix them, but it will take until 4-4:30 PM to get them done." "Are you kidding me!
