Republic tree service called me promptly the next morning, a gentleman by the name of Lewis was on the other line, he asked me if he could come by at 12:30pm may 2nd. I agreed, and took off lunch to meet him at my house. lewis never showed up at 12:30, he calls me at 12:38 to tell me he is running late, and would be by in 45. 1:40pm rolled around and lewis still wasn't at my house and hast contacted me. Ive already gone over my lunch by 40 mins waiting for him. I called Lewis, he answered, and as I'm explaining to him that I despise this level of unprofessionalism he hangs up on me. I call the main line, and Scott Madley the owner answered. Scott apologized on behalf of lewis and assured me this is not how he operates, that he needs the business, and would come by my house Tuesday morning personally. Scott didn't come, he sent Lewis. Lewis was great in person. Apologized and we moved on. I signed the quote that day, 5/3. today is 5/6, no one has called me to schedule the job. I called and Scott wasn't available to me. I hired Faustino to trim a 49 year old oak, a 49 year old mesquite and a 15 year crepe Myrtle. I…read morehad an idea of what I thought was needed, but Faustino in a very knowledgeable and kind way, help me to understand what was actually needed to keep the trees, attractive, and healthy. I'm so happy he corrected my understanding. Of the many times I've had my oak tree trimmed, this is by far the best it's ever looked. He went up higher into the tree to clean it up than any other service I've hired in the past. There were different issues with my crêpe myrtle and Mesquite trees and as with the Oak tree, he educated me and gave each tree what it particularly required. I thought the price was reasonable, he cleaned up after he was finished, and in my case, brush pick up day is several days away, and he stacked all of the brush exactly as I asked him to in such a way to minimize how much of it was on the edge of my lawn and how much of it was sticking beyond the curb. I had scheduled three services to come out and give me estimates. Faustino was the first business to contact me after I made my inquiry on Yelp and as a result the first business to come out and provide me an estimate. After he gave me the estimate, I told him I had some other businesses that were scheduled to come out and I would let him know after I've spoken to everyone. I was so impressed with my conversation with him during his visit to provide the estimate, that I decided there was no need to have the other two businesses come out and I cancel those appointments. Spider-Man tree trimming services will be my go to in the future.
