Safely and promptly removed 2 large dead trees and stumps from our property. One of the trees was located inches from our neighbor's roof and against our existing rock wall. Neighbor's tree fell on our house and we needed a company with a crane of some sort and Alamo City Arbor Care is the one who showed up with the proper equipment to quickly get the job done. When I called on a Saturday morning John answered and showed up within 30 minutes to assess our issue. He returned with his crew and the tree was lifted without creating any further damage to our roof. They shredded the tree on site and any fallen debris was immediately cleaned up. After a strong wind last week I found an enormous elm split in half in my backyard, being precariously held away from the roof by my other trees. Not only did Jon return my call lightening quick but came over immediately to assess, quote and ultimately pull crews in to quickly save my house from any damage. The crew from Alamo City Arbor Care were great! Were supposed to come between 8:00 and 12:00. Got here at 10:00 and were done by 10:45. Great Service and attention to detail are alive and well at Alamo City Arbor Care. I moved into a new house with four overgrown trees and a dead stump in my front yard. As with any sought after service, they had to schedule me about two weeks into the future - but they were worth the wait. One guy climbed in each of the four trees while another eradicated the stump AND IT"S SURFACE ROOTS to a depth of what seemed like two feet. I mean, that stump is G-O-N-E, I don't know how the tree artists in the trees did what they did. How do you climb up in a tree and still be able to tell what needs to be cut and what needs to be left. But they all did a masterful job. I look up now and see the tree limbs and leaves against the blue sky and it really looks like something out of a picture book. And not a leaf left on my lawn. They removed and mulched every limb and leaf.I couldn't tell anyone was ever there - except for the new light now hitting my sun-starved grass and the beautiful canopy above it. $1,900 for three big trees, one small tree, the stump removal and immaculate clean up. Here's the deal: these guys are good but expensive (in my experience). Their owner is great, super responsive, and their crews do an acceptable job. Jon's crew of 4 very able men meticulously pruned and cut an oak, chinaberry, and crepe myrtle that had never seen a blade. When I bought this house a year ago, I had to prioritize the trees. In the back, my neighbor's old oak tree hung precariously close to my deck. Dead branches nearly fell on it during the last storm. Yikes! Now all the trees are neat and trim, they must be smiling like I am! When they were finished, the guys cleaned everything up, and now my back and front yards look awesome. They trimmed up and cleaned all the big oak trees at a commercial property we own. We discussed a stump that I would need ground in the future, and you know what, when I called him months later he remembered me and remembered that stump and that "it was included in the original quote." To make things even more difficult I was on a tight deadline as I was coordinating with a concrete pour and he zipped in there early one Saturday morning before another job and made it happen. W.O.W.
