I think it's funny you had my review pulled from your page. Your employee stole and got caught. Everyone should be allowed to know what happened and transpired. People should be allowed to be aware of what happened. 25 years this has happened twice. 25 years 2 people have actually come to you and said something because they noticed something was gone So here is a quick summary. Lighter was stolen from my moms vehicle after she went back and put her lighter away. was made a to sound like she misplaced it and that she didn't know where she put it. Staff all said nobody had it. Upon review of the footage and them seeing my mother return the lighter to its location. A employee later came and gave the lighter back saying it was a mistake. The employee Marco was not let go and my mother was told good help is hard to find. I believe people with integrity is hard to find as well. Don't remove a comment because the truth hurts. You wanna stand by your employee I understand then stand by the actions ur employee did and take responsibility ‍. It's not about the lighter being given back it's the principle of the fact the lighter was stolen my mother was gaslighted and ur crew says o no we didn't steal or take anything. This place is wonderful! We have a boat and needed to replace the tires on our trailer and this was the only place that had the room. We arrived and the guys walked out to us to help right away. And the manager came out and looked at our engine of our car because we had some smoke and smell. This customer service is stellar and the value for our money was also amazing. Disclaimer: I called ahead and made an appointment for the following day. Fast forward to the next day... I showed up on time for my appointment and I was told I would be in and out within an hour. (I was told that the process of getting an oil change ranges from 45mins - 1hr) So I sat inside the lobby to wait. Keep in mind, my appointment was at the top of the hour. As I waited in the lobby, I watched as my car sat untouched, for 28 minutes. As I began to suspect that I was going to be late for an out-of-town afternoon appointment I had mentioned to the techs prior... I decided I was going to get up to ask what was going on. Just then, I watched a tech take my car back to the bays to start working on it, so I sat back down. 50 minutes later, my car was back out front and ready to go. Was the car done in an hour? No. But, having an appointment sure beats the wait time of just walking in! Although friendly communication is not their forte... the prices are decent and so is the service. Definitely better than taking your car to the dealership these days. Solid 7/10. Probably will come back again in the not so distant future. read more

You don't always get what you pay for...was charged for a tire rotation that was never done. Called in about it, was offered the service or a refund. No one ever questioned my accusation, no one apologized or addressed the issue. Pretty disappointing when you are supposed to be able to trust that what you ask and pay for are actually done. Ed knew I needed my truck back that day to get home. They replaced and repaired my alternator and water pump in the same day and made sure it was done right. Sadly I have to go to the BMW dealership to see what else it could be. Ed was very sorry as it will b more expense. I also need tires and I always get them there. With unexpected financial things going on with me we discussed different cost of tires. Ed spent a good amount of time comparing quality and cost. I really did get some knowledge I had not known. I took my car into San Benito Tire on 11/22/22 because my tire wouldn't hold air for more than a few days. I called Ed the day before, told him what was going on and scheduled an appointment for the following day. I showed up the day of my appointment and told Ed which tire was giving me issues and gave him the key and left. I didn't hear back from anyone so I called in about 4-5 hours later to check on my car and Ed said that he was doing invoicing and my car should be done "soon". I never heard back again that my car was ready so I decided to show up after a few more hours. I picked up my car to find out they did the wrong service on my car. They never looked at the tire that wasn't holding air and instead did an oil change and tire rotation which I never asked for. I brought this to Ed's attention and he apologized and said he would perform the correct service the following day but still charged me $115 for a service I never asked for. He said he would "take care of me" for his mistake the following day. The next day San Benito Tire found the issue with my tire and replaced the tire. When I showed up to pick up and pay for my vehicle, I was expecting 100% of the charges from their mistake the day before to be taken off my bill. Ed could only offer me a 1/2 refund for performing the wrong service on my vehicle. Also the refund is not listed anywhere on the invoice which makes me believe it was never discounted. Overall, I feel cheated and scammed by San Benito Tire. Not only did they perform the wrong service and delay my vehicle but they charged me for it. I would not recommend this business to anyone. There are many options in Hollister so please stay away and take your car somewhere else. read more

Had my front & back brakes w/rotors replaced. Days later my brakes were grinding. As if my rotors were rubbing together. I took it back to get checked he said everything was fine and that it's suppose to make that noise for the 1st hundred miles. I then let it go a couple more days and the sound wasn't going away. I then returned it to have them replace the brakes with the warranty given. That was definitely a waste of my time & money. NEVER AGAIN.!! Have had good luck at SB Tires in the past, but am now rethinking whether I'll ever go there again. Brought my old clunker in to get a front window fixed (stuck in the "down" position) and they worked on a back window instead--without fixing the front window. They kept the car overnight, with the front window down the whole time, and never figured out THAT was the window to work on. I realize that mistakes happen, but instead of admitting to it and offering to make it all right, the service rep wanted to argue the point and somehow just chalk it all up to "miscommunication." I had to argue way longer than necessary for him to grudgingly knock off the service charge for finally fixing the front window, while still charging me for the back window work I never asked for. (The back window, btw, was UP the whole time.) read more

They aligned my car and the lugnuts I had didn't fit with my new rims I had brought in. They ordered me lugnuts that will work and said I can bring my car back in Wednesday and will put the tires on for me. Fast and easy service, super nice and helpful place! I'm be been here many times and always loved their service. Except this time. I called Friday early afternoon and confirmed I could drop my car off when they opened. I dropped my car off before 8 am. By 2:45 I had not heard from them so I gave them a call just to check. I was told my car was in rotation and would be done by 4 since that's when they closed. Showed up at 3:50 to pay incase they needed to close register. The worker asked if someone had called me to pick up. I said no and he said oh we didn't get to your car today unfortunately. You can leave it for us to work on it next week it or if you take it just know we didn't service it. My car was there 8 hours and although I understand sometimes they get behind they didn't even mention when dropping off they were behind or even call and let me know they wouldn't get to the car today. Instead they just made me wait all day until closing. Needless to say I went to Rossi's Monday and was able to get in same day with a guarantee the oil change would be done same day. read more

The good - based on the aftermarket suspension I had on my truck, the guys San Benito Tire were willing to do an alignment on it to the aftermarket specs (still in spec for stock, but at a very specific window). Now the bad - one of the instructions I was given from the suspension company was 'do not adjust the outer tie rods' - they look adjustable, but arent, so the company told me to tell the alignment shop that information. So, when I dropped off my truck, I did just that. Orlando, the guy who took me in when I dropped off the truck, looked at me like I had a third eye in my forehead when I said that - he told me "who would adjust those - the stock ones aren't able to adjust". I felt a little dumb for telling him that afterwards, but felt comfortable they knew what they were doing. Fast forward to the end - I get the truck, and run home to jump back on a call. Afterwards, I run out and look under the truck and guess what? THEY ADJUSTED THE OUTER TIE RODS!!!! There were wrench scuffs all over my brand new $400 tie rod ends, and I could tell they were turned because the logos no longer lined up. I called San Benito Tire, only to be told by the guy that answered the phone, 'You didn't talk to me, you talked to Orlando. I'll let him know you called'. Well it's a day or so and still no follow up. And too boot, as I started to look the truck over, the paint on my wheels has ring-shaped marks on it from the alignment tool that I couldn't buff out (so now they're permanently damaged), and there were greasy handprints all over the door, console, and steering wheel. Zero attention to detail and concern for craftsmanship. I ended up rolling under the truck and checking all the fasteners just to make sure they did complete the job due to the apparently basic lack of concern and attention from whomever did my alignment. There are enough tire shops in Hollister to take your business to if this is the quality of work these guys do! Very disappointed!!!! read more

I had gotten a nail in a tire earlier in the week. Stopped at a gas station to help plug it but I knew I had driven on it. I brought my vehicle to San Benito Tire Pros to perform some services including a tire rotation. I mentioned the the plug in the tire to see what they thought. In addition to that my vehicle has staggered wheels, tires, spacers and lowered. They had zero issues with these additions. They called me fairly early on about the tire being damaged. So new tire. I inquired about the tread on the other tires and they were honest with me about the wear. Didn't try and up sell me. I decided to have them install some 20" after-market wheels on my wife's vehicle. They knocked that one out so I decided to bring my son's Mustang. Had them rotate and balance. Upon our return John informed me that the Mustang was in need of new tires too. I knew the rears were done but was hoping to get a bit more, hence the rotation. But probably 10K mi too late. John worked on a quote for new tires, alignment and labor. Pricing was great, now my son needs to save his pennies. Did I mention this was all on a Saturday? I first came in around noon and they finished all 3 vehicles by 4:15pm.
