Had Bruce's Tire mobile change my front tires on my RV at Camping World parking lot in San Martin, CA. It was a Friday Afternoon just before a 3 Day Weekend was to start. Bruce's Tire mobile Truck arrived and brought two new tires. The Mobile Driver Installed one of the two tires he had brought. I at a distance noticed he getting upset. I walked over and he stated I don't want you looking over my shoulder. He started huffing and blowing steam took my other tire loaded his truck and left. I called over the weekend stranded in the parking lot. I called Bruce's Tire District Manager. After talking with the District Manager he assured me that he would take care of the problem on Tuesday after the 3 Day Weekend (He did) He came and brought my other tire and had the Mobile Driver Mount It. A While later at a tire service, A serviceman pointed out the first tire the Mobile Driver had changed, he had cross threaded the Stud putting on the nut. I had a horrible experience with Bruce's Tire and Auto of Gilroy. After they replaced the rear brake pad and rotors on my car it would not move. The rear left wheel was stuck. They tried various remedies but a week later the car was still sitting in their shop. I no longer trusted either their competence or their word. I had the car towed to another mechanic who repaired the problem at great financial cost to me. To make matters worse, their customer service throughout this process was awful. read more

I called Bruce Tires on 8/25/25 to see options to replace my 2 front tires since the 2 tires in the back was already replaced. The guy andrew who is the ASSISTANT MANAGER that I spoke 3 times is very unprofessional. I called and I was put on hold for 10 minutes, he came back with unfriendly approach and didn't even offer any help. I called him back around 3pm to give him the details of my car and the tires size and while I was giving him the information, he replied rudely with a "WHAT?" Oh I am sorry thats how you guys respond especially when you are an assistant manager? Thats how you guys treat customers that is been there for many many years. Especially the fact that this guy is an assistant manager who is very disrestpectful, no manners and no customer service. I expected more from an assistant manager. I told him that he was very disrespectful and he hang up, didn't even apologize and didn't offer solution. Oh its not even done yet, I called back and this guy chose not to answer. The moment I called, I was put on hold immediately, I wonder why lol. So the manager answered because andrew doesnt have the guts to own his mistakes. Store managers name is Abraham and I explained to him what happened. Abraham told me, he will talk to andrew. Abraham said that he will listens to the recordings because their phones records conversation over the phone. Will never take my stuff to Bruce's tire in gilroy again.. this sucks for me because my business is in gilroy and I live in gilroy but I'll have to find another tire shop I have had several issues with these guys the last 1 year. I have a dodge Ram 2500 with bigger tires and I brought it in for the following things Tire rotation Breaks if the cost was efficient Oil change Wheel alignment I get a call 2 hours later with an answer that they can't do an alignment because the truck don't fit on there rack! Shouldn't you know that before committing to doing an alignment if you work there ? Then saying yes you need breaks but we can't do the pads you need to do pads and rotors. I asked why my rotors are not warped there not heat cracked and there not Glazed so I can get away with doing the pads only the managers response was its our policy so I said don't worry about it I'll do them myself because the cost was highway robbery but price these days is crazy in anything we do so no big deal. Then manager responds ok we won't do breaks I'll give you a call back when the other stuff is ready so they call me back 1 hour later I head over to pick up my truck and they say your truck is ready the oil change is done I said how about the tire Rotation he said no we didn't do it because we noticed the front tires are cupping a little WOWWWWW!!! I said well that's why you rotate the tires that's what you do to these truck every 300-500 miles rotate them so they wear correctly he said no because you can get a vibration no you will not get a vibration you actually will get the tire humming in the rear instead of the front till the rear wears the tires evenly in the next 75 miles but not a vibration‍‍‍‍‍somebody please teach these workers something. This is like Bruce's tires just hired anyone to put a body in front of a customer but clearly does not know what there doing.. let's get it TOGETHER!!! read more

I needed an alignment and the knowledgeable team at bruces tire helped me get back on the road. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped out by their friendly service advisor team. They are very professional and did my alignment right the first time in a timely manner unlike other places nearby. I only trust these guys to do any tire work. The waiting area is very well kept and they have comfortable seating as well as a big screen tv to watch sports while you wait. Will be coming back soon. New customer here, and I get to join the 5-star club here on Yelp for Bruce's Tire & Auto in Gilroy. They were able to get the Pirelli Scorpions I wanted overnight and for a competitive price, and installation went quickly with no hassle. Friendly folks. I dealt with Robert at the front desk but the whole team seems copacetic. The waiting area was clean, comfortable and cool on a really hot day, and the free WiFi worked well. Here's the cherry on top: I'd ordered an alignment, figuring it was due, and after the tire installation they got the car all set up for the procedure ...and found it was still in spec. So they un-did the setup and didn't charge me. A less-honorable shop would have just proceeded to do the unnecessary adjustments, knowing the customer would never be the wiser. How refreshing to see such a brilliant example of Golden Rule behavior! It's great to meet another fine business serving our nifty little town, too. Unfriendly, unresponsive reception, with an attitude! Received a mailer for a $49 oil change and tire rotation. Called to make an appointment. Waited 3 days and they did not call back. Called again and made an appointment for 9am today. Arrived and they had no record of my appointment! Offered to do an oil change for $89. They would not honor the special without the mailer - they never told me to bring in the mailer when I made the appointment! I left and went somewhere else. Bruce's Tire won't see me again! This isn't Jiffy Lube! At first, I was surprised when they said that my oil change would take an hour, but I was already there and needed to grab lunch anyway, so I didn't argue. Downtown is right down the street, so I went for a walk to the library and got some lunch at the coffee shop. When I came back, they were just wrapping up my free alignment check, so I waited in some surprisingly comfortable rubber tire chairs and chatted with Robert. My alignment was slightly off, but not enough to pay the $130 fee to fix it. I said "Thanks, but I'll fix it another day" and went inside to pay. But when Robert came back in to ring me up, he let me know that they went ahead and fixed the alignment for me, no extra charge! As I walked out, a satisfied customer, I perused my receipt to see that they'd also checked my brakes, liquid levels, and even rotated my tires! All for $60. It wasn't a quick visit, but hey... I always take my Audi to the dealership to have any work done including oil changes. I was going out of town and in a hurry so I tried Bruce's for an oil change. Because they didn't know Audis they reused a gasket. It is a one time use part which created an oil leak. I had to take it to Audi to have it fixed. I ended up paying twice for the same service. They were very nice and friendly. Got the work done in a timely manner. Maybe just don't take Audis there. read more

Great experience at this location. Was a walk in no appointment. I Needed new tires for my 2019 Honda CRV. They had a great selection of tires in stock for my vehicle. The associate went over the different options and price points. Once I decided on the tires I wanted they started on the vehicle right away. I also had them do a alignment as recommended when purchasing new tires. They also give your vehicle a free inspection for brakes, filters, etc. Then they send a detailed report to your email. They did find a very dirty filter on the air intake system. In the end great experience. Very satisfied with there work and professionalism. Will be using them on going on all my vehicles. read more

Oh my GOODNESS. I was driving from the Bay to Big Sur and my tire randomly blew out while I was on the highway. While my boyfriend switched out the tire with the donut, I searched up the closest tire place and called the first place that showed up. Not only were they extremely accommodating and patient, but they were QUICK. He asked me for my tire size on the phone which helped us get in and out when we got there. And despite most of the workers being on lunch when we got there, the man at the counter just started himself and got help as the other men came back in. They probably took less than 30 minutes for the whole thing and relieved me of so much stress. The pricing was very reasonable as well. Poor Customer Service. Very Unnecessarily Expensive. The Service To Fix My Car Was Pitiful And Caused Damage.

Customer service here is severely lacking. I called at 8:30AM, was immediately put on hold for almost 10mins and hung up. Called back, same deal. I finally got ahold of some guy and asked how long the wait was for an oil change. Without an appt. the wait was 2 hours, but I was told I could pick up my car the following morning?! When did 2 hours first thing in the morning turn into overnight? Apparently they don't do walk-ins even though they didn't tell me that. No thanks. read more

DON'T GET RIPPED OFF! I just went on a long road trip for Thanksgiving and got an oil change before going. They took care of it in a reasonable amount of time but told me there was a nail in one of my tires. They were trying to pressure me so much to get it changed right there on the spot saying that it was leaking very fast but I didn't have time. I didn't end up taking my truck because of what they told me but I came back a week later and the tire is fine. I never saw a nail and have been driving in it a few days now. It's disgusting how hard they were trying to get me to change it right there on the spot. Don't go here but if you do, please don't get ripped off. read more

I had my oil change done and they offer free multi-inspection to your vehicle. They found my tires were out of balance and was able to do the service the same day. The service is fast, reliable and honest. I was watching through the window to see if they do pay attention on what service being done and it checked all the marks. Giving a 1 star review does not make me happy. I usually will give a business the benefit if the doubt. In this instance I am livid. For the past year or so I have used Bruce's tire for oil changes and vehicle inspections and all was good. On Friday, June 16 I took my car in because the TPMS light was on. The technician tested the tires and I was informed that the rear driver's side TPMS was defective. I opted to have the replacement done at the cost of $264.31 for that wheel. After driving the vehicle for several miles the light has not gone off. Upon further investigation my ASE certified repair shop informed me that it was highly unusual to replace only one TPMS and best to replace all 4. When I asked what the cost would be to replace all 4, I was told $425. Do ya' think I got took by Bruce's? Gilroy is a small community and you would think Bruce's would want to keep their customers because people DO talk. Instead at the price they charged me they believe it is better to skin the sheep as opposed to shearing it. They are tripping over the dollars to pick up the dimes. At best this outfit is inept and incompetent. Bruce's lost a customer with 3 cars, future revenue from him-----nil! PS. The customer showroom is a pigsty. good management that provides excellent service with integrity. I was stranded when my tire blew out in a commercial vehicle (a big rig). These guys could have price gouged and had me pay anything they wanted, but they didn't. They helped me out and went out of their way to make sure I got home. They didn't make promises they couldn't keep and most importantly they made me feel taken care of. I feel I've left here with a mutually beneficial relationship, rather than having just been another customer that helped their bottom line. I wanted to write a quick thank you to Bruce's Tire and Auto Service in Gilroy. I shopped around for Tractor Tires for a large John Deere Tractor. Each Tire cost in excess of $ 1,000.00 . I visited Bruce's Tires in Gilroy and meet with the Manager Sergio. Sergio was courteous, professional and found a set of great Goodyear Tires for my John Deere 4955. He was able to match any online price I found, and more importantly, he had them in one day and had Service mechanic Robert , deliver and install the tires the next day. These are really big, tall heavy tires and Robert was outstanding in the Job he did. A big thank you to both Manager Sergio Zamora, and Mechanic Robert for restoring my faith in dealing with local businesses and truly caring about customer service. What a horrible store. Unprofessional, liars, and won't stand behind their work even when they know they are wrong. I took my BMW to them that had alignment problem that they identified. The less than 10k mikes later my $480 tire is bad already and they admitted they aren't sure if they actually did the alignment. They offered a free alignment which is funny because they know I live in Sacramento (3.5 hours away) and it's too late as the tire is already ruined. They told me to take it to a local store to see what was wrong. I did and Firestone doesn't believe they actually did the alignment or my tire wouldn't be ruined already. Spoke with the owner and he said he can't prove they did the alignment as they only keep records for 6 months, but he can't help me. Really? He can't make it right, or he won't make it right? What a jerk! Oh, forgot to mention they cost me two nights hotel, and 2 days car rental because they ordered the wrong tire. I have been a business owner for 35 years. Something like this happens? You make it right. Not this guy. He just said "sorry I can't help you" and hung up. Stay clear for sure!! Save yourself the headache. Has to be a number of other choices for tires in Gilroy...... Response to Richie the owner. Correction Richie. What you told me on the phone is that you have NO PROOF and NO RECORDS that you aligned anything. The total story is that if then alignment was done I would not have a tire destroyed because of non alignment with LESS that 10,000 miles. Again with this kind of situation as a business owner you take care of the problem. Not look the other way and lay blame on the tire manufacturer when the blame is squarely on your tire shop. Bad press will cost you WAY more than taking ownership like a Schwab tire store does and have the customer singing praises about your company. It's really simple.
