I've been locked out of my account because I've tried too many times to incorrectly login. The recording/message says to call 877-732-2848 to get help unlocking your account. This has all happened since they switch to the "New" SDCCU. I've called this number several times to speak to someone to unlock my account. They even give you the option to have someone call you back "without loosing you place in line". Ha Ha Ha! I've also done this a few times and NEVER received a call back. More than once I've stayed on the phone on hold for MORE THAN AN HOUR with no acknowledgement or answer to my calls. SDCCU, in my book, you are no longer, as you profess to be, the best credit union. In the past 18 months my respect for your institution has been a landslide down hill. My other accounts at competitive credit unions treat me with much higher respect than I have experienced in recent times. Don't be surprised if you find that your memberships decline substantially.

I first went to the ATM to deposit cash and for whatever reason the ATM machine wouldn't take my money. I had to go into the bank to deposit and the one lady working as a teller was having a long ass conversation with I believe someone she knows or possibly a family member. Their conversation went way past the time of the customer making her transactions. I'm just standing there forever waiting for someone else to ask me to come to their window/stall. Finally someone else called me up so I could make my own transaction, which I finished and the teller and customer were still chatting. At that point the teller really needs to inform the customer that she will talk to her outside of business hours, because she is at work and there is a line of people waiting to be served and some people like myself are in a hurry and that is why I originally went to the ATM to deposit money.

Had $84.64 AFTER the overdraft charge Looks like some major "scamming"

I don't trust this bank. I had two overdraft charges (when I had money in the account). I had to go to the bank, request the refund and asked why the overdraft charge. They simply said they have no idea! I guess I'll be back when it happens again. I had $116 in my account. I got an overdraft charge ($32), put my account balance to $86. then an oil change ($91, which I originally had in my account) so, this charge put another overdraft change on my account. They told me I have $20 overdraft protection - but how would that help if I already had more than $100 in my account??! Watch your Money Here! I just found out Fidelity has a bank account option, I'm gonna check that out! I don't trust this bank with my money anymore

This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BANK / EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD at ANY BANK!!!!…read more I received an insurance check for a house renovation via mail (my mortgage is thru BOA but i bank with Wells Fargo). I call the service line that was provided on the check and they tell me to go to any BOA location, have them verify and endorse the check to me. I go in on a Tuesday. I walk in and speak to a teller / manager named RITA. ( This person is the ABSOLUTE worst and SHOULD NOT be able to work at any bank) I tell her that I have this check ( from BOA) and that I need it verified and endorsed to me so i can deposit it at WF. ( I'm just relaying what I was told on the phone from the other BOA employee) She immediately is shaking her head and is saying No we don't do that. I'm confused and said this is the instructions I was given. She says to have a seat while she looks into it. After waiting 20 mins, a banker named Marc takes me into a cubicle to pull up my information by providing him the code that was provided to me on the phone. RITA walks in and asked for the verification code and walks away. After 5 mins ... She's comes back and says that she can't pull up my info. Marc was like... I was able to. It's on my computer right now. (This tells me and RITA is incompetent and can't even do a simple task like pulling up a customer's information) She leaves the cubicle again and after another 30 minutes she comes back and is apologetic for the wait and the confusion. She hands over the check but says that they usually have a verification stamp but it was taken away for some reason. So she hand wrote a confirmation on the back of the check with her signature. ( that's when I find out that she's a manager) I walk out and head over to the Wells Fargo which is right across the parking lot. I show them the check and they say they usually expect to see a verification stamp. I tell them that it was taken away from them for some unknown reason. They say they'll have to verify by talking to the manager/ person who wrote this note on the check. By this time it's 430pm and BOA is closed. WF said they'll try calling her tomorrow and they'll call me back. Next day Wednesday, I go to BOA and tell RITA that WF needs to talk to her because they need to confirm who wrote this verification note on the check ( no official stamp reason) RITA says, we'll if I'm by the phone I'll answer because im busy talking to other customers sometimes. I understand that but also let her know I need to deposit this check asap so I can start paying vendors. This is a time sensitive situation. Again, RITA has this I CAN'T HELP U attitude with a condescending look. I go back to WF and tell them to continue to call and she'll answer when she could. SMDH. I keep calling WF and they said no answer. I call BOA and confirm that they are not answering as well. Next day Thursday, same thing, I call BOA 15x NO answer. I speak with the WF manager and she said between herself and a banker, they've called a total of 50x NO ANSWER. By the end of the day...WF manager tells me to go to BOA in the morning and call her when she's in front of RITA. FRIDAY morning. I walk into BOA, I see RITA as she's walking out to the middle of the store from the teller section and I tell her Im going to call the WF manager on my phone so she can get her verbal confirmation. She Says she can't talk on my phone ( understandable) but then she adds "I CAN'T VERIFY ANY CHECKS OVER THE PHONE EVEN IF SHE CALLS MY PHONE. I DID MY PART AND WROTE THE CONFIRMATION ON THE CHECK " all this with her ugly condescending look. I was about to lose it and start cussing her out but I didn't wanna get this b!tch mad to the point she DEFINITELY won't Answer the phone. I tell her " I'm the customer here. U need to help me. Ur going to help me out right" like where tf is the customer service? She says " I'm going to make this exception and help u because I see what ur going thru" . Bitch... like ur doing me a favor? and Uve been seeing what I've been going thru since Tuesday. I tell bet I'm going to have the WF manger call in a couple minutes and I confirm / withl her again that she's coming to answer. She says Yes with an attitude and that stupid condescending look. I go back to WF and tell the manager that RITA is now there and that she would answer the phone now. SHE FINALLY ANSWERS THE PHONE AND WF GETS RITA'S VERBAL CONFIRMATION. ( 2 minute phone call) I get to deposit the check and the 4 day nightmare is over. RITA IS THE WORST MANAGER / BANK EMPLOYEE I'VE EVER DEALT WITH! THE WHOLE ISSUE STEMMED FROM RITA / BOA NOT HAVING AN OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION STAMP, WHICH SHOULD MAKE THEM OBLIGATED TO GIVE ANY REQUESTED VERBAL CONFIRMATION FROM OTHER BANKS DUE TO A WRITTEN NOTE ON A CHECK! ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED ON DAY 1 WITH A 2 MINUTE PHONE CALL AND SOME GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I came in a few months ago, and as soon as I walked into the branch I was welcomed by bank Emily, something new to me because my normal branch Navajo never has people greeting at the door. Unfortunately, I had some fraud on my account, but Emily took me to her desk and immediately knew how to fix the problem. I thought it was going to be a real hassle, closing my accounts and reopening them, moving over my auto pay to my mortgage ect ect.... But, Emily knew how to do all of it! And talked to me the whole time, the process felt like it flew by. She is very kind and has a great personality, honestly something I did not expect to find at a bank. A big thing for me is, I have a disabled daughter who is VERY talkative. I find that employees (in general) have a hard time with her, because she is mentally that of 5 years old. However, Emily was very patient with her, asked her questions like her name, favorite color, animal, ect ect... and she did not seem to be upset by my daughter's constant re-asking of the same questions. Fast forward to last week, I needed to come back in to deposit my daughter's check. Greeting at the door was once again Emily! But this time, she recognized me and greeted me by my name. Even remembered that I went on vacation to Florida and asked about my trip. But what really made my day, is she remembered my daughter's name. She called my daughter by name and spoke to her directly, asking her how she enjoyed her trip as well. My daughter was over the moon! It completely made her day, and she told me she had made a friend. I was beyond impressed and touched with the level of kindness given to me from this BANK employee... who would have guessed!
