His calm and friendly demeanor, knowledge and support is priceless. Not only did our new drivers feel confident, capable and competent after their lessons, but I did too! What I really appreciated was the invitation to ride along during each lesson. Witnessing not only what was being taught, but also HOW it was being taught was invaluable. Having rode along with all three of my kids, 9 lessons deep, I think I would make an awesome addition to the driving staff!! All jokes aside, even after 36 years of driving experience, no tickets or accidents, I can genuinely say that I learned something from each lesson. Dan welcomed my inquisitiveness and most impressively THANKED me for riding along. Scheduling was always a breeze, office staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and it was clear that preparing our young drivers for the streets was their priority. It was easy communication to set everything up and she would come and pick them up at the door. She didn't honk at them in our driveway, but instead got out which I thought was awesome! From the boys perspective, she was very through with them while driving and they learned a lot from her. We already had 1 kid do their behind the wheel test and passed and the next one is in April. (You have a limited time to complete all 3 sessions if you pay for the 3 session/6 hour deal). Laura was reasonably flexible, on time, and prepared my son for his road test. It was the best value I could find. She came to our house in Eastlake and picked him up in clean and safe sedan. Communication was simple and clear. No miscommunications. Laura did a great job prepping my son to drive. Needless to say, he passed his test with no issues. I recommend national city driving school to anyone looking for a legitimate learning experience, with a professional teacher, at a great value.
