I had the pleasure to receive what I consider to be not just good customer service, but in fact a great customer experience. Anthony was a huge help in assisting me to get a strip screw out of my Hellcat Pro slide. It took wasn't the easiest thing to remedy, but he stayed on it until he got it out. I totally appreciate his efforts. Not only that he then mounted the Red Dot I have purchased earlier to put on the slide. I went in on purchasing ammo and man they do have a good selection on that. I was greeted by everyone working and Kristy was very nice and polite. I started looking around and was in the market for a AR-15 and Kristy showed me quite a few firearms they had and again she wasn't pushy or annoyed and answered all my questions. This was my first time in the San Diego Guns store. I had a brief interaction with Anthony who was professional and very helpful. I was then helped by Jillian who determined my guns value. She explained the current CA law regarding the sale of the gun I currently possessed and explained the process of how she determined it's value. I also asked for some advice on a comparison between 2 of the guns they had in their display case. Jillian showed me both guns and provided detailed information for each of them including some of the pros and cons. Jillian is extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to share that knowledge to allow me to make the best decision for me. She didn't push a sale on me, just showed me different options according to my interests. I feel the customer service Jillian provided was top notch. She was professional, honest, patient and extremely helpful. It's nice to shop at a store with amazing customer service, great selection of inventory, good value and knowing you are getting honest recommendations or advice from knowledgeable staff. My wife was gifted a gun from her son who lives in Texas. The FFL deal had contacted San Diego guns for the transfer. We had handwritten a letter of transfer and San Diego guns said they needed a typed letter. Then after we made that happen, they wouldn't release their FFL number to the FFL dealer in Texas until we came in provided the proper documents and paid the transaction in full. We live in the high desert and it's a 3-hour drive to SD gun from our house. We called them and asked them if we could send them the documentation and pay their fees. Nope couldn't happen, in order for them to send the other FFL dealer their dealer number we were going to have to go down to them and provide the documentation and pay them in full. We found a local gun shop to help us for half the fees and we don't have to show up until the gifted gun gets there. Thanks for nothing SD Guns. read more
