These guys are scammers I went to purchase ammo and my information wasn't adding up because I didn't include APT for my apartment number under my firearms registration so they charged me for the background check which was $5 no big deal but then they guy working told me there was a $10 min fee so I asked if he could just charge me twice so I can just pay the $10 and he said no that I have to buy something and the cheapest thing they had there was a bar of soap for $10 so not only did I not get ammo but they had me walking out spending $15 on some soap don't shop here. read more

I needed to update my FSC (Firearm Safety Certificate) so I ended up calling this shop and they said they could help me out. The store is in the hood but inside it is very organized and aesthetically pleasing, with what looks like a great amount of inventory. I forgot the gentleman's name who helped me out, but he was very informative and walked me through the entire process. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. I was referred here by one of my friends from The Training Center which is an MMA gym in Pacific Beach ran by Chris Leben. My friend is sponsored on his GI by them and He told me if I wanted a rifle to come here because they make custom AR's. I'm new to the game so I figured this would be a better experience than just buying any gun off the shelf. He specifically told me to meet Grover the owner who then advised me to have Jim build my AR since I got to him at a bad time when he was leaving the business. Jim though did an amazing job from the start to finish. He went above and beyond showing me proper techniques for holding the rifle and even educating me on the laws in California regarding AR 15's . He helped me choose every single piece of my new rifle and today I was able to have him and Sebastian put it all together for me. They are very detailed, passionate and fun to work with. The rifle turned out too cool! Honestly I'm blown away with that we were able to put together. Nothing beats making a custom rifle and I'm grateful for all the guys at the shop. I discharged from the Marine Corps in 2001. The last rifle I owned and Fired was around that time. I've procrastinated on buying a new rifle for over 10 years. Went in yesterday to buy a polymer 80 for a Glock 17 build. The Glock Store is closer on Sundays and that's what lead me to look at other shops around San Diego that carry the Polymer 80. The guys were friendly and easy to talk too. The carry a ton of stuff, mostly stuff to build an AR or Glock. They also carry a nice collection of handmade knives. I didn't look around too much because I knew what I wanted but overall experience was great! Will definitely be returning in the future for other parts. read more
