By far one of the best barber shops I've been into. When I walked in, everyone was friendly and when I walked in all I had to do was tell them I had an 11am appointment and the owner (I think) Steve directed me to one of his other workers, PJ, who was very friendly and very professional with his service. I've been living in California (LA county) for 10 years now. Never have I found such a brilliant hair artist such as Dutch. In 1 month, this was my 3. haircut and the other 2 places really messed up my hair. Dutch took his time and did such a tremendous job. Highly recommended place. He's my barber from now on. Brent and Amanda came highly recommended, so my boyfriend and I set up appointments for the afternoon. My boyfriend has not been able to find a barber that cuts his hair the way he likes since his regular shop shut down. Over a year ago. I on the other hand am so hard on my hair since I always have it up for work. I needed a total revamp. Brent and amanda are both super friendly and welcoming and are very meticulous about their work. Brent gave my man a sexy fade and a cut that perfectly matches and compliments the shape of his head, in my opnion. The sexy part is obviously subjective, but you can say it's been hard to stop staring ;) Brent was also made him feel very comfortable. I never would have thought to go to a barber shop to treat my long hair, but Amanda was just as awesome and put other stylists I've had to shame, and so effortlessly. She was very friendly and attentive to what I wanted. I walked out looking like a new woman! Thanks Amanda and Brent! The shop is also totally photo-worthy! Even though I didn't take any of my own, I can tell a lot of heart went into the design. Props to the owner for maintaining a great looking shop. It's a win. We finally graduated from "little kid place" to a "real" grownup barber shop, and I chose this one. Great experience. Our hairdresser was Amanda. It's probably important to know that my son has special needs. Amanda made him very comfortable and did a terrific job. She was able to quickly and flawlessly work with my son's hair, which is on the thick and crazy side. He looks AMAZING, total hunk city. The price is just right: $20 (cash) + tip, obviously. This is such a cool, vintage barber shop. Johnny did a perfect job with my challenging graying hair that has different types of hair in different areas of my scalp. But, he first did a very professional and respectful interview with me to determine the cut plan. I've been loyally going to one place for over a decade, and very pleased; but that place is closed due to Covid19. Steve doesn't just do a good cut, he does an incrediblly great cut without breaking a sweat. Every great thing comes with footnote. It's like Seinfeld and you want the soup. So you have to wait until it's your turn and know how to order while staying in your lane. It's always worth it. read more

Been coming here for a while now and they just moved a few doors down into a little bigger nicer spot, still and original barbershop feeling though, checkered floor, lots of barber memorabilia, old style barber chairs.... All the barbers there are at the top of there game, this isn't one of those trendy shops this place is old skool, I like the outside decor as well (wood planked sidewalks,antique shops pet store to entertain the kids while you wait) i suggest you call ahead to put your name down or else you could miss out on a good haircut or you can wait it out just be patient as this shop is alway busy but sometimes I like to go in early just to hear all the shit talking (guy thing) and get a few good laughs in before I get in the Chair..... Finding a new go-to barbershop is always a process filled with uncertainty, just like purchasing a new car. Yelp does help considerably in weeding out the good from the bad, but I think I just found gold with San Dimas Barber Shop. San Dimas Barber Shop has classic looks and vintage vibes. Jacob was a true professional and expert in his craft. He made a strong effort to cut my hair how I wanted it and not how he wanted it (as I've experienced with other barbers in the past). But for certain areas where I wasn't too sure how I wanted it cut, such as the back of my head, Jacob was able to work his magic and the result was nothing short of excellent. All of the other barbers at San Dimas Barber Shop are experts as well and they all seem to really enjoy what they do which is a big plus for me. I would definitely recommend this barbershop to anyone who wants to look their best. Make sure to text them to make an appointment beforehand! Some of these reviews are funny to read. People whining about not being able to do a walk in and waiting forever if you don't have an appointment...that is sort of the point in making an appointment. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon as a walk-in and one of the guys took me right away. He asked what I wanted and proceeded to cut my hair. He did an awesome job, only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the dude cutting my hair didn't seem to like his job much, after asking me what type of cut I wanted he didn't say one word to me and even after paying and giving him a $5 tip he barely said "thanks".
