My teeth and gums are very healthy so treatment might be different for others but I would say to expect up-charges like a preventative treatment even if you don't really need it. The office has high-tech machines that provide great visuals of your entire mouth which I appreciated.

Dr Bang drilled a bit and said the one tooth was good for root canal for the bridge. Two temp caps were put on. NO ONE checked the crowns. They weren't sealed right and tech was clearly new. One crown fell off. If I hadn't just prepaid i would have gone elsewhere then. I've now been in pain for several weeks and the drilling and bad crowns made it excruciating. I went back on June 24th. Dr. Sorjani - endodontist who's there 1x per month - was to do root canals. He came in and jammed the numbing needle in. No warning. He seemed angry. He started to drill the wrong tooth. I had to tell him which ones. He got even angrier when he couldn't get me numb. He then said he couldn't do anything. And again, I PREPAID this visit too - an additional $1,201 Dr. Sorjani is a piece of work - I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. After he said he could do nothing, the tech put back on the bad crowns that were originally on there. Again, no dentist inspected the tech's lazy, shoddy work. The office staff- Trace - also lies. She said they're keeping over $2,000 because we "agreed to it" for the THREE teeth they worked on. It was only 2! And they did nothing except put me in horrific pain for 6 weeks. A few minutes after I left this visit, the crown fell off. I went back again that afternoon and another tech replaced the crown that fell off. I'm still in pain. It's July 8th now. They have over $4000 of our money still. They are not returning it so far and could give us no idea of when the little they were returning might show up. I am spreading the word to everyone. DO NOT USE BAKERSFIELD DENTAL GROUP. They are in the habit of making people prepay and then doing nothing. They have no concept of patient care.

This is a long post but please read if you plan on getting a ROOT CANAL done here…read more Please DO NOT go here. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. You will regret getting a root canal done here. I got mine done 1/12/2026. The process was brutal and dr. gil did my procedure. Throughout the process nearing the end of my root it started to get painful and then he perforated my sinus cavity. The bleach solution they put through your tooth for the root canal went up my sinus and I gagged from it , since it was gross. When he would pause to take XRAYs of his work, he would ask his assistant if it looked good. His assistant said I don't know while looking down. This happened three times. Also, he would handle my face a bit roughly which took me by surprised. When they would pause for the xrays I caught my hands shaking and my legs too. I felt like a baby! But after my root canal. He then put a huge temp crown that felt and looked like a dried lump of playdough. After the whole thing was done, that same night my left nostril would leak brown and red fluid, which took a week for that to stop. He told me to take pseudoephedrine to cure that. It never worked. I felt so much pain throughout the wait period for my permanent crown, which was going to take about a month or two. I started to feel ear and sinus pain all on my left side. I started experiencing hearing loss and my eye started to swell too. I went back to this clinic for help and the dr said something along the lines of, I can't do anything for you, other than give you a referral for UCLA. So, I tried to do exactly that, never heard back from UCLA, they're bad at answering phones and this clinic told me that I'd have to go in person because of that reason. I was in and out of urgent cares and the hospital from the amount of pain that I was in from this unfinished root canal. Because I found out from an AMAZING Dr., that dr.gil missed a whole canal in my tooth. I had to get this tooth extracted. Once I saw this tooth out of my mouth not only was it stinky as heck, but it was BLACK, pure black. It was so rotten and infected from where the drilling was done. I had this stinking tooth in with my temp crown for five months since I was trying to find a dr here in bako who would help me. This whole process was bad. Im not sure why this place is still in business. I understand how hard it can be to be a dr. and dealing with patients who have a fear of dentists but experiences like mine is what causes the loss of respect for Drs. in general. Please do research for your teeth since it affects so much of your body. Don't just let anyone who accepts your insurance work on you. I've learned from this now. I don't do this with ill-intent, just be careful.

I was a faithful patient but when I switched jobs about a year ago my new insurance initially provided to me was not accepted by Hall of Fame. I went on with my life with my new dentist, unsatisfied and unhappy. I knew that once I was able to switch my insurance back I was going back to Dr. Hall. The tail end of 2018 was the worst dental year for me because I had a nagging toothache that would not resolve despite two visits to my new-ish dentist. At the beginning of this year I went straight to Dr. Hall and they gave me the answers I needed. I'm very happy with the care I've received thus far (I didn't expect anything less). I'll be back in a few weeks for some follow-ups which I'm actually excited about. Hall of Fame has grown quite a bit over the last few years. It was half the size it is now when I first started going and I'm very impressed by how everything looks. All the rooms are clean, all the equipment is organized and new. The waiting area is comfy but very rarely will you sit for too long because they know how to schedule appointments appropriately. It seems Dr. Hall is always up to date with the new dental technology which is great for patients. The staff is still as wonderful as they were when I first started going here.
