Everything that's in demand from beer to allocated bourbon is extremely marked up. Looking at three times the cost plus for bottles. Price gouging at its finest. With so many retailers that sell for MSRP it's a hard pass. read more

This is a 5 star review both for the selection of hard to find craft brew beer and the service the owner, Nate, provides to his customers. I've been a customer here for several years now, driving all the way from San Bernardino because there is always something rare, hard to find, or just plain unavailable anywhere else but here. I've even found great surprises by just picking something out of the cooler to try. Today, I was after a special release by Allagash brewery that I had only seen here at San Dimas liquor . I asked the counter attendant for some help but we didn't find what I wanted. I chose another release by The Breuery (kisses betwixt) when the owner, Nate, walked up and questioned what Allagash beer I was after. Super friendly, helpful, and with an exceptional memory, he believed he had what I was looking for at his other store (freeway liquor in West Covina). He made a quick phone call and had the Allagash victor ale I was looking for. Amazing! He also made a suggestion for a new brewery out of Rancho Cucamonga (sour cellar) that I purchased. I highly recommend San Dimas liquor and if Nate is around, don't hesitate to ask for some suggestions if you want to try something new. read more

Great prices and selection but they ALWAYS close early!!! Like they'll be supposed to be open until midnight on a Friday and I show up at 11:45 and they're already shut down! They actually reopened for me one night because I stood outside and put my hands up because it was like 20 min before they were supposed to close! Other than that great prices and selection. I would give 0 stars! I asked for scratchers and had a $5 winner and went right back in to trade in the scratcher. The guy behind the counter when we went to take the scratcher back in said we have to scratch off for the barcode so we tried to scratch off and then he refused to take it. He was extremely rude! Just have to say thanks to san dimas liquor for taking care of my husband and I. We just had our wedding reception and Nate made ordering cases of champagne and kegs of specialty beer super easy! He had everything there ice cold and on time, very accommodating and went the extra mile every chance he got.. Provided ice and buckets, and had the right pump we needed for the keg all ready so that we didn't have to remember those extra little details ourselves on our busy celebration day(: my husband also chose a special bottle of tequila for the after party which I'd never seen before, this was THE most amazing tequila and even non tequila drinkers at the party were marveling at the beautiful bottle and lining up for extra tastes haha. Definitely try this place, great selection and service. And disregard some of these other bitter sounding yelpers negative reviews about beer not being priced and beer limits.. They are more than fair with pricing, the tequila we bought was $20 more across town at the only other place we could find it. And it looked to me like the beers my husband usually has to ask for as a special request at other liquor stores were freely available on the shelf!!! Thanks again guys! read more

In a Stater Bros. shopping center, you would never think it, but this place has an AMAZING selection of craft beers! Yes, they're a little overpriced but they have a lot of what you can't get at places like BevMo or Total Wine. I will shop here whenever I am in the area! read more

Russian River is almost always stocked, they get great hazies, special bourbons, and even rare barrel aged stouts. So happy I live down the street from here. read more

I have been going here for years when I am in town. They have a decent selection of craft beers but a bit on the pricy side. Very narrow walk ways. I always try to be cautious of how I am walking into this location, so not to knock over a glass bottle or some other item. They have a tendency to double scan bulk lottery tickets, so always double check. Their selection of liquor is good. read more

This is a great location run by a great guy named Nate. He runs a very informative Instagram account that lets you know when the new releases are in. I'm a bit of a beer fan and hophead so I enjoy my beer fresh, this let's me know I'm getting the best stuff. A little about the location off Arrow Highway in west San Dimas/Northeast Covina/South Glendora. Right by a Stater Bros there is always parking real close by and not too far from the 57/210 if you're coming to Charter Oak from out of the area. There is occasionally some drifters or other peddlers out front but I never had an issue. This might be something to consider if you're afraid or scared of that certain thing even though the location and parking lot are lit well. Inside it's typical for a liquor store with a good amount of fridges to keep the beer at the perfect temperature. Other shelves store stouts and other strong ales that don't need a fridge to stay optimal. A little about Nate, he owns another location in West Covina off Vincent (Freeway Liquor). Most beers get released at both locations so need to travel to one or another. This guy works though. I have seen him at both locations and nearly all hours of the day. It's like he has a twin like that movie set in the 1900's The Prestige with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. It's uncanny and actually pretty cool to be able to talk to the man himself if you got any questions or what he recommends. I highly recommend this place if you need beer.
