I was sent for consultation for my gums. "They are fine" per Dr. Kayali. I received deep cleaning and was to come for follow up. Then since my gums were fine, I was almost talked into a procedure costing over $15,000 plus. I agreed and gave a deposit of over $6,000. After getting home, I decided not to have procedure at my age for 3 back teeth implants. This was relayed to office, and they tried their hardest to change my mind. After a month, I asked where's my refund. I got "we'll, biller is not in until Wednesday" they will call you. No call. I went in for follow up of deep cleaning and Dr. Kayali explained how is money is tied up and that he didn't have the money and he would make 3 monthly payments to me. Each month, I had to remind them. I received 2 payments of $2,242.50 and 3rd payment of $2,242.00. He shorted me Fifty cents. I questioned it and supposedly they send me a check for .50. I received a empty envelope. Now if I drive 90 minutes to their office, he'll have my balance. ?? It would cost me close to $8.00 to do that. Bottom line, they have cheated me out money. How many others have they done this to? The 50 cents is not going to make me go broke, possibly him but it's the point. They want their $$ upfront, if you use credit card there is a percentage fee. What is this world coming to?? Keep your money, go else where in my opinion. He is a very nice dentist but not in the way he handles his business. read more

Like most people I don't normally leave a review, but this Office, Doctor, and Staff are deserving of a review. I have neglected my teeth for over 10 years, decided it was time TCB for myself. Began with a dentist, next to the orthodontist, and by his sugesstion highly recommended that I see a Periodontist because he was concerned of my bone loss. Faced with the fact that I am dealing with adult periodonic disease and wanting to keep my teeth off I go to see Dr. Kayali and staff. OMG, OMG, OMG!!! This quite the place! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with genuine smiles and concern from the Staff. Girls forgive me if I have fogotten your names. Once called in a very estutly informed team member by the name of Vicky (RDA) when over my file. Dr. Kayali was also well informed of my situation that he advised me of my proceedure. The following day I met with the staff. The hygenist (Shirley) who performed the proceedure, has the hands of an angel. She was quick, delicate, and precise I felt no pain during the super deep cleaning, or with the adminnistering of the antibiotics below my gum line. Next was the extraction, Dr. Kayali was very gentle as well, wish I could say you have the hands of an angel, but your real close! All in all, the quality of care was excellent. I came here with a periodontal abscess but unfortunately was given an incorrect diagnosis for a very expensive surgery that did not get rid of the abscess at all. After waiting for weeks after surgery, I was then recommended to see an oral surgeon for possibly extracting a wisdom tooth to rid the abscess. Thankfully, I instead went to get a second opinion and they were baffled that I was not given a thorough check to determine that all I needed was a root canal-- not surgery and nothing to do with my wisdom teeth! They were also concerned of the first suggestion being surgery and not checking other steps to be sure. I ended up going to get a root canal done elsewhere and the abscess was gone immediately. I did appreciate how kind the front desk staff was and they were always extremely helpful, but I was very disappointed that the lack of a clear examination from Dr. Kayali resulted in me going through a stressful time of an unnecessary surgery and outstanding medical bill. read more

Warning: this place reports any negative reviews months after posting to hope that others do not notice. This dentist office completely overcharged and messed up my surgery then as an "compensation," offered $100 off the needed pulling of the tooth they messed up. The tooth completely rotted and caused extreme pain and even with extensive care, the tooth needed to be pulled. The next place i went to only charged $300 for the pulling, while their estimate was $1372. They claimed it was my fault and that "My body is my temple," as a reason to why it happened. Overall I lost a tooth and $1200 from the initial surgery. Do yourself a favor and get estimates everywhere else to compare to their outrageous prices. read more

The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I always appreciate that they call to remind me about my appointments and go over any questions I have while I have them on the phone. In person they are very specific the staff takes their time and go over everything very Thoroughly. I got 4 extractions and didn't feel any pain at all. Dr. Kayali and his staff are highly skilled and compassionate. It has been a pleasure being their patient. I don't write many reviews but felt the need to share my experience for others like me. Pros: Highly trusted and professional periodontist; Entire staff is outgoing and friendly; Warm and inviting office Cons: Those typical dentist sounds and environment - the drill, the light above head, etc. Not much that can be done about that. :) So I hate the dentist... I cringe at the sounds, my heart pounds as I have to sit with this light that feels like I'm being interrogated. But I could see that my gums were receding and my teeth were separating quickly within the past few years. It was severe and I knew it. I went to a well-known and highly advertised cosmetic practice. They advised me that I had a major infection and that I needed all of my teeth removed and replaced with implants or removable dentures. I was shocked, I cried and I was embarrassed that I had let this go on for so long that these were my only options. At the suggestion of my doctor, I went for a second opinion to another dentist. The second dentist told me the recommendation of the first dentist was too aggressive. He suggested going to a periodontist. After that I remember feeling so confused, how could two respected practices give me such different diagnosis? I set out to find a periodontist that could help me. I found Dr. Kayali. My first visit with Dr. Kayali exceeded my expectations! I nervously walked through the door and the front office staff, Cindy and Brenda, greeted me and made me feel comfortable. I then had my consult with Dr. Kayali. He was so attentive and kind. He was honest with me and told me that the gum disease was severe and that I had bone loss. He assured me this would be a journey and that we would take it in steps together. I knew right then that I could trust him. And he has not let me down since. In June, he performed surgery to remove the gum infection and do a bone graft. I will need two implants but the rest of my teeth were saved because of him. I was hoping that after coming here my fiancee wud change his mind in getting implants. After paying to get his teeth scanned(just under $200) and saw how much it was I really had hopes that my fiancee wud go for it. I had care credit plus we had a good amount in our savings account. But he backed out and he decided to just get new set of dentures. I called back to let the office manager know that he just wanted the dentures. She said okay. We go back to his next appointment few days later and waited in the waiting room. The office manager comes out and brings out a clipboard and asked him questions and asked again to confirm if he just wanted to do the implants or dentures only. My fiancee replied that he just wanted the dentures. She says "okay we'll call u in a few minutes." Few minutes later he gets called in and sits in the chair waiting for the doctor. About 15min passes by and doctor comes in just to tell him that he doesnt do "just dentures" unless it was to do implants. If a patient is going to do implants then thats when they will do the dentures. But if you're going to do "just dentures" then no he does not do that. Okayyyyy....so we left pretty upset. I said to the manager "we wernt told that your doctor didnt do just dentures....it wud have been nice if someone wud have told us." She didnt say not one wrd nor apologized. She had at least 2chances to tell us before we wasted our time coming back and sitting in the back office waiting and waiting, then just to be told by the Dr that he doesnt do "just dentures". The staff shud have at LEAST informed us beforehand like when I called them up before coming back for his 2nd appointment. NOT COOL! Dr. M.Ihsan Kayali D.D.S and his staff, Cindy, Heidi, Cynthia, and Claudia, are an awesome staff. I hate the dentist very much, but this staff was very compassionate and they cared for me dearly. I've been battling a growing hatred for the dentist since last year who did not care or do anything for me, but put me into more and more pain. So being in the hands of this new dentist it is making my growing hatred fade a lot because of how they deal with situations. I had to get a tooth pulled in March because I had trauma to my face years ago from a car accident and an air bag hit my face. I had no idea that my tooth was pretty infected and had to be pulled out immediately. The procedure went very well. I woke up fine and they were really caring for me I have to wait a few months to get a implant and I'm still under their care, so I am very pleased with that.
