I know Ive reviewed Glendora Dental Arts before, but its been a minute. I received a root canal from Dr Lee again. I have lots of pain where over the years Ive brushed my gums away from my teeth leaving exposed tooth....owwy! She has put a patch oj many of these spots because they did not need a filling for a cavity. So no she just not just want to crown everything. I went in this week for pain. We had been monitoring a tooth with a big filling and sure enough the tip of the root was reacting and I could see it on the ex ray. She did tap my teeth with a tool. 2 teeth were fine, the one reacting was "uncomfortable" and the 4th one was a little sensitive. We decided to finally root canal this tooth. I clinch my hands together when im afraid of pain. I did NOT feel any pain and she gave me several injections and she reached down and touched my hands and said "relax!" I did. She has done 2 crowns and one root canal, and lots of patches over sensitive areas. This will now be another root canal and crown. I did not feel any pain through the process and im healing just fine. She does beautiful work and I never have to worry about her picking a bad enamel match or bulky crowns. She will do her best to keep you out of pain and make the work beautiful. Erica at the front and Melody chair side are friendly and kind. I recommend Dr. LEE. read more

I've been to a lot of dentists over the years, and this has easily been the best experience I've had. Natalie, Erika, and the doctor are all very kind and welcoming they make you feel comfortable right away. Appointments are easy, you're not stuck waiting around, and they really take the time to make sure you're taken care of. You can tell they actually care about their patients, not just rushing. I finally found a dentist I trust. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that's friendly, accommodating, and just makes the whole process easy. I am new to the area and needed some (a lot of) fillings and crowns recently. I am very pleased with my experiences with Dr. Lee at Glendora Dental Art's. The location has plenty of free parking in a covered structure. (Hint: Drive to the parking structure's second floor for easiest access and wide open parking.) After serious procedures, I walk to the nearby Robek's for a protein smoothie to tide me over until the novacaine wears off. There is also an ice cream (Handel's) shop even closer. The office is clean and the waiting room is pleasant and very spacious. The operating chairs are modern with TVs directly in front of patients. Whether in person or on the phone, the office staff is knowlegeable, always friendly and efficient. They are very helpful with working directly with my insurance company. Appointments stay on schedule and I was never kept waiting. It is always easy to get someone on the phone. Dr. Lee herself has answered the phone at lunchtime and answered my insurance and appointment questions personally. She seems to be hands on in all aspects of the operation I had several dental issues requiring attention. Dr. Lee provided an excellent treatment plan including prioritization, insurance coverage, and expected patient out-of-pocket costs. Dr. Lee explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. She did not push or use scare tactics to rush any non-urgent procedures. Most importantly, Dr. Lee's dental work is outstanding. She definitely knows what she is doing. She works quickly, confidently, and efficiently. The novacaine injection experiences have been very good. Last, but not least, I am extremely happy with the appearance of the fillings and crowns. The shape and color matching are excellent and I can smile with confidence again. Including "Art" in the name was not overreaching. I highly recommend. read more

I made my dental appointment 2025. For Dental X-rays and a cleaning. I saw Dr. Lee. Dental hygienist. Dr. Lee banged on my teeth with a solid metal tool, she banged harder and harder on my teeth! Even my crowns which you are never suppose to do.! Dr. Lee asked does it hurt NO! I had pain for 6 weeks.!!! Dr. Lee came in and told me I have a cavity and I have a gap that she would like to put two crowns on two teeth to close the gap. The pocket she said looks great and that I keep it clean. I asked Dr. Lee will placing two crowns on my teeth close the gap ? NO but it will make it less of a gap. Why would I pay to have two crowns placed if it doesn't close the gap. Crazy! Dr. Lee said you have so many different type of crowns ( material ) SO they fit great and they do not bother me! My saying is. " If it's NOT broken, don't fix's it.!" I asked Dr. Lee where is the decay tooth ? Her response; Look on the screen in front of you. OK Where is the decay tooth? She never pointed out where or what tooth number. Her response was just look. I went to the front desk. The gal said do you want to schedule appointments to have a decay filled and two crowns ? $ 1566.00total. I will go home and talk it over with my husband. January 21/2026 I signed up for PPO Dental plan so I could go back to my previous dentist Dr. Fred. I have been with him for 17 years. He is just the best, NO Up sale's and Honest. Full set of X-rays. I showed Dr. Fred the paper work from Dr. Lee. He said OK let's take a look. Dr. Fred spent 35 minutes examining my teeth, looking at X-rays. Dr. Fred said there is NO Cavity, light does not shine through. It didn't hurt during exam, air, cold water, X-rays did not show a cavity.! Two crowns to close a gap. The crowns look good to him. He wouldn't place crowns on. I told Dr. Fred, Dr. Lee said you have a lot of different type of crowns ( material ) SO What.! The crowns look good to him. I have zero discomfort. Please do not go here unless you have money to burn and un necessary work done to your teeth. I am so glad I listened to my gut and since I had zero pain prior to seeing DDS. Lee. I wanted to wait and get DDS. Fred opinion. I trust him 100 %!! I am so glad I went back to my previous dentist and signed up for PPO with Cigna. The best decision I ever made. Please run! Please air on the side of caution when seeing DDS. Lee!!. I highly recommend getting a second opinion. I do not recommend Dr. Lee or her staff. DDS. Lee was Very cold in person. ! read more

A Dr should always be aware,concerned and helpful when their patient is in extreme pain and not just walk out of the room and not say good. Half of a very long extraction is was without anesthetic. I mentioned the type used would wear off but I think that pissed her off. I liked her and went for years but the traumatic last experience had me going through 2 red lights just to get home and medicated. I worked with Dentists and orthodontists for decades and have never seen anything like this. Last week was the first time I've a dentist in at least 3 years and I will be getting 2-3 implants which I planned for Dr Lee to do. I reviewed my new dentist on Yelp days ago and he deserved all that I said. read more

Dr. Lee is amazing! I had some traumatic dental experiences in my past, which lead to me not going to the dentist for nearly 7 years. I decided I had to go back to a dentist or risk my teeth being "too far gone". Somehow, Dr. Lee has made me look forward to going to see her. She redid my "problem" teeth which had failed crowns. I don't know how she did it, but my new crowns feel like my original teeth, whereas the crowns I had for the last 6+ years never felt like they were in correctly and affected my bite and my gums. The rest of the staff is amazing as well! Another big plus is Dr. Lee's pricing is incredibly fair, I have felt like the quality of care I have received is above and beyond the dollar amount I have paid, and I have never felt pressured or taken aback by the cost quoted here. I was never made aware of your new policy. Nor was she until this morning. So I was unaware of the $35.00 dollar fee due to covid for cancellations on the day of. I understand cancellation fees. But if customers are unaware due to a pandemic then shouldn't there be an allowance? Customers should be made aware of these fees upfront. I found this out this morning when my daughter had to cancel her appointment because her job has her on call and she had to go to work. It upset me because I had no idea this became a policy. I don't cancel. So I guess it's our fault. (Sarcasm) Today this office lost three customers. I gave them two stars for the nice assistant who helps with cleaning. Very inconsiderate "doctor" and MONEY HUNGRY. If someone cancels last minute they do not care if you have somewhere to be. They charge 35 dollars according to "policy." She will probably reply that I rescheduled before .. but that's from my own will... WARNING OF UP CHARGES AND UNNECESSARY DENTAL WORK. I went to her for a check up. She said I needed multiple root-canals. I went to a different doctor, and told me everything she said was unnecessary. I will be changing to a different office. After I was done with the check up she was not caring at all and just focused on what my charges were, not my teeth. THANKS A LOT SUSAN OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS YOU SUCK. Dr. Lee was recommended to me by my bosses. She is very quick (in a great way) and does an amazing job. I like how I'm not sitting and waiting for the dentist in between many patients. She spaces out her time for each patient. I'm used to spending hours in a dental office. I had a crown and was out in an hour or less. I had 4 fillings and was also out in about an hour or less. At first it seemed like a clean ideal office but actually the view from the windows for the patient isn't a great idea. It gets extremely warm in that office and in the patient chair. Too warm for a clinic. Allegedly had a cavity needing to be filled and already didn't appreciate that the intravenous anesthetic was injected painfully than other dentists with little care. Will not be returning. Appointment was canceled last year before lockdown. read more

Unfortunately, I have not had the best experiences here. I have spent so much money here. I should have gone somewhere else and gotten another opinion but I didn't. They have a "new covid" policy where you get charged 35$ if you cancel the same day. I was called into work early and had to cancel. I called and they said they were going to charge me. I never received a text or confirmed via text. I was called on a Friday and told over the phone. However, there was no mention of a late cancellation charge. They just want to milk every cent they can. Which is ridiculous considering the absurd amount I've already spent there. Be careful! Went in for both my husband and myself to do long delayed care. Immediately I noticed they have a nice office and their staff is friendly and very caring. As for the dentist I can't say the same. She lost her patience with her staff a couple of times during our visit over paperwork. Her bedside manners are not the greatest, I don't know if I'm the only one that dislikes tools being slammed as she was conducting my exam. It's already a nerve racking experience. Her pricing is awful. My husband got an infection from the check up and when I called she answers the phone it took me a minute to figure out it was her though she didn't disclose it. She said it was probably a sore and that he should get his deep cleaning treatment to improve it when I asked about making changes to the suggested procedures as she also wanted to extract a tooth that is not giving his issues she became impatient and combative. I now will need to find a different dentist. Complete waste of time. read more

After visiting what was supposedly a "reputable" dentist in West LA (where I lived for a year in 2004), and completing what I thought was a routine checkup, I was blindsided to hear that I needed extensive "deep root cleaning" and was quoted work that would cost me several thousand dollars out of pocket. They are amazing with me, my husband and especially my kids. I have a toddler and older son and they are so great. The doctor and whole staff. I hate having work done and she is extremely patient with me with my anxiety. They always make sure we are comfortable and gives great suggestions and treatment. They have TVs over the chair with Netflix that you or the kids can watch, and the facility is perfectly clean and big. I NEVER have to wait which is great because I always have to take my kids with me. Appointment making is super easy and they give you a confirmation text week before and a reminder the day of through text which is great. A lot of parking also great location. I had found it really difficult to find a dentist who is truly honest about my needs, and not just trying to sell me unnecessary procedures that they claim I need done. I don't have dental insurance, so going to the dentist isn't always cheap for me. My mom referred me to Dr. Lee and her and her staff have been great. She is honest and friendly, and her facility is clean and professional. I have had nothing but problems since seeing this dentist in 2017. She put in two crowns. She left such a huge gap between them that food would constantly get stuck in THERE and it was starting to affect my gums. Because of the gap one crown had to be replaced (by another dentist) and the second crown fell out!! I was told it fell out because she didn't leave enough base tooth underneath to hold it in. I distinctly remember that when that tooth was being prepared by her dental assistant for the crown to put she forced something too hard and pieces of the tooth broke off and fell into my mouth! So instead of building things back up in there properly to hold the crown on properly she she just put the crown on as is. The dentist also filled a cavity on another tooth and again left such a huge gap between teeth that I have to floss after I eat, EVERY TIME I EAT. I would not recommend this dentist. read more

I was pretty excited to come to this dentist after reading the reviews. I thought with how awesome they were that this would be the right place to go to for dental care; however, I left extremely displeased. Many people don't like the dentist due to the "scary tools," the scraping, or possibly pain, but what I don't like about the dentist has nothing to do with that. I don't like the financial part of it. I have a PPO plan. Now I didn't read any reviews about this dentist trying to up sale services nor did I experience this at my visit. My insurance covers regular cleanings which is really all I wanted, but the dentist RECOMMENDED a deep cleaning. I appreciate that she broke down the costs of everything she RECOMMENDS; however, I still wanted my regular cleaning not the deep cleaning. She said I couldn't get a regular cleaning because of her RECOMMENDATION. Needless to say I walked out without anything but x-rays and her recommendations. No cleaning. I called my insurance provider to ensure that despite her recommendation that they would still cover a regular cleaning. They do. They won't deny a claim for a regular cleaning due to her recommendation for a deep cleaning, so I'm taking my business elsewhere. On another note, I thought the staff was very polite. My only issue is that what I wanted did not seem to matter to the dentist. That personally matters to me, so a 1 star is what I would rate for my experience. Update: The dentist also told me that being 26 my insurance won't cover braces. I called my insurance to check this, and they said there is no age cap. If you go here check with your insurance with what is and is not covered because she does not accurately find out for you. Her cost estimates are therefore wrong. read more
