Some really great menudo is served here and it's available daily. On this visit I also tried their house tortillas, pan dulce and bollios. Their mini pan dulce was delish, but at a dollar each, seemed a bit pricy. Bollios were great at around $0.50 each and pack of tortillas a bargain at around $2.50. Definitely will be back for menudo and tortillas! Will have to try their regular size pan dulce and see if they are priced any better :)

Conchanitas. Special order by the Dodgers.

It was the start of the World Series- Dodgers v. Yankees. From what I was told by an unofficial source that SGM was making conchanitas and tortillas in Dodgers blue. What?! Love concha's and will love them even more in blue. Soft and warm out of the oven YUM. Bought the blue tortillas and had tacos and quesadillas during the game and when it was all over that weekend was chilaquiles. Need to check out the entire store soon!

Great quality meat. Asada burrito was good, but a little too much going on inside. Pastor was the best meat by far, delicious flavor. The tortilla on the cabeza taco overpowered the meat and the carnita was great too!

Hands-down, my favorite meat market nothing compares! not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Came here to get some meat for grilling, close to me new place. They have a nice variety of meats marinated and non marinated. What caught my eye was some cuts of wagyu beef and huge tomahawk steaks. I'll have to come back for those at a later time. What I did purchased today was a few pounds of marinated short ribs and several pounds of marinated boneless chicken. When we got home we grilled them on our gas grill. The ribs were so flavorful and the chicken was so juicy and delicious as well. We will come back for short ribs and chicken for sure. We picked up some of the prepared guacamole which was delicious and not spicy. Also got the cutest mini pan dulce, which was delicious. I Recommend you get done on the way out. Overall great food and good service.

Beat tasajo carne and chicken. I highly recommend for your next BBQ.

Hi Renee, unfortunately we do not yet. However it is planned for the near future. We appreciate your interest.

    Can we call in order?

Hello, we stop taking phone orders after 730 pm, or 530 Holidays. But you may call during regular hours, from 8 am to the hours mentioned. Thank you!

I had a wonderful phone conversation with the owner Ben who personally took my order. We agreed upon a date and time two weeks out since I was going to be out of town for the 4th of July week. They called while I was out of town to confirm the date and time (between 10-11 am) which was great! When I arrived to the store with my son around 11:15 because of the heavy traffic on 91W I went to the counter and was told by a young female that I needed to go to the pay counter. She was curt and not helpful. There was only three people ahead of me so no problem. But the elder gentleman in front of me, who was being helped by the young man who would eventually help me, took an exceptionally long time with his order. I'm just here to pay and pick up. No problem, I'll be patient and keep waiting. Two other costumers are helped by the female counter person and finally the elder customer leaves with his order and I'm next. The young male counter person then waits for me to initiate the conversation and doesn't greet me with a smile or hello or how can I help. I brush it off. I tell him I'm here to pick up my order, a whole pig and give him my last name. He fumbles around a few seconds and then asks how to spell my name and eventually finds my ticket order and asks what time. The time is written at the top of the ticket he failed to notice. I pay for the order. He mutters someone will be out with my order and disappears. No thank you, no attentiveness like he gave the older gentleman in front of me. Again, I've been in my car with my son for over two hours from San Diego in traffic and this fella couldn't give me five minutes of courtesy. I'm waiting, and waiting and waiting while others eventually come into the store and are being helped and leaving. The older female worker at the pay counter is still there helping customers while the younger female at the deli counter is now apparently on a break and making herself lunch. She stops momentarily when a customer comes in for deli service. I'm still waiting by the counter to make sure I'm at least acknowledged but I don't see the young male counter worker who apparently left for lunch since it's now noon. The older female worker can probably see on my face that I'm not happy and says to me he's working on my order. He? Who's he? I am just here to pay and pick order between 10-11. How much time and trouble could it be to put this order together which was made two weeks prior? A different gentlemen finally arrives with three boxes and two large paper bags that comprise my order. On the way out the older female worker says goodbye and was very courteous. At this point I'm pretty upset because this is not a large haul and this order could've easily been second and not 45 minutes! I arrive home after the two hour drive back home to SD and looking forward to the meat, especially the sausages and putting it into the freezer which I cleared out in preparation for the meat. My older son is home to help. As we are sorting and placing the meat I notice that there are no sausages. It's just sausage meat but no links. I guess it's my fault for assuming and not specifying sausage links on at peat some of the order. It was a huge letdown. I had array went out to purchase rolls and buns for a bbq this weekend and to have friends and family over. Oh well. You live and you learn. At least the bacon was great.
