The lady was very rude. She said something in Spanish and I told her "sorry I don't speak Spanish" she then rolled her eyes for what seemed like 30 seconds and then asked for here or to go. The plate I ordered was a special of 5taquitos with asada. The asada was cooked great not much too it but tasted like asada. The taquitos were a disappointment though as they were filled with not much meat. A thin layer of stuffed beef inside kinda wanted to unroll and stuff some of the asada inside. I'd probably go and try something else instead of this but if you're lazy and don't want to cook it's an ok spot for a basic late burrito or torta. read more

Do you know how upset I have to be about the food to actually download yelp and add a review I've been here three times hoping they would make my thought of the place go up. Nope, every time they over charge me and leave me with food for toddlers. Why are they stingy when it comes to food I paid 20 dollars for, literally. Rice and beans were fresh, burrito was shredded beef so that must be the meat because I was expecting carne asada it was still good but that would have been better as a chimichanga. I come here pretty often for their daily special which comes with a free small drink. I get the potato tacos, which are made the same every time. I like that I always know what to expect. There is usually a short or no line. They are open late, which I love! As a woman, I feel comfortable going through the drive through at night. I would not recommend getting out and sitting. I had another good experience at Alberto's. My typical Angie's burrito double wrapped except for this time. I also added the Carne Asada fries. Oh my God that is so good and greasy. I love it I want more of it. I had to wait in a huge line that was actually down the street Probably nine cars in front of me. then, when you know it right when I get to pay the lines empty. Baldwin Park, CA. First time here. I took a chance, I ordered a Breakfast burrito. Its very inexpensive here. What a deal. The burrito I ordered was not oily, or greasy. The flour tortilla was amazing. It tasted home made. It was so good. I highly recommend this place. I gave it four stars , because it's very basic here, as far as the dining area. I saw the other day they had re-opened. They had a grand opening a few months back, but after a 3 weeks or so they had closed down. After several months - they have now re-opened. Dropped in here to grab some nachos & taquitos. The carne asada here is much better than Alfredos. But they dont pack in the nachos like Alfredos does. Food isnt bad, but for the same price I can get a lot more food from Alfredos. The Parking lot is small & the drive thru exits right into the lot. Its a pain in the butt to get into the drive thru. If I could give them no stars, I would. After an awesome night of parting with family we decided to get some tacos for the road. The meat was probably one of the worse meat I have ever had because it tasted like they dropped a container or salt just in our 3 tacos and burritos. The worst part was that I was starting and my expectation were extremely low. Still I could get trough one taco. Even after three attempts I could not do it. In comparison to Pepe's since that restaurant is a bit closer to me, I love this places carne asada fries way way more. It's not toooo saucy so it really keeps the integrity of the fries and keeps them crispy. Pepe's drenches their fries which some people like but I like the crispiness of my fries. BRING CASH TO THIS PLACE!!! This place isn't cash only but I believe they do charge a extra charge for using card. Maybe 50 cents or sooo. So save yourself the money. Overall pretty quick place. I love Alberto's & I usually go to the one in Glendora but I was searching for one nearby today. Man the drive to Glendora would of been worth it because the one in Baldwin Park sucks. It took them forever to get my one order ready and the lady gave me mean sass and I work at a restaurant so I always try to be nice to everyone but she just had the nastiest mood. I hate people that can't even give good energy when working, why even work there if you're going to make you and everyone else miserable. This place is hands down better than king taco, afredos, or cardunos. If your a fan of al pastor than this place is it in Baldwin Park. There burritos are large enough for a meal by itself! It comes with gaucamole and pico de gallo and they have a salsa bar if you eat inside! And did I mentioned that there burritos are grilled and toasted!! The meat from carne asada to al pastor is juicy and fresh. Unlike places like King Taco where you have to eat there food with salsa, the food here is extremely flavorful!
