That is why I did not give a 5, however the owner was in touch with me about the door. He did tell me he was going to get me a door stop to allow the door to just close. I am happy I just used the door first before restricting the movement of the door. The door does look great in my bathroom.

Russ, the owner of Glass Medic, was referred to me by another business when I was desperate to find someone to fix the poor work. Replacing caulk is not Russ's primary service BUT he said "YES, I can help you" - he quoted a fair price, he removed and replaced the silicone, polished the glass, replaced the strip on the bottom of the glass door and put on a product to help the water drain off the glass. He even applied something to make the deep scratches, caused by the handyman service, look less noticeable. He actually cared to help resolve someone elses mess. Thank you, Russ.

My biggest concern was that the company began tearing off my roof before obtaining the required city permit. I wasn't informed until after the roof had already been removed. When the city questioned my patio cover, I had to work directly with them to prove it was part of the home's original construction. The job site was also poorly managed. During demolition, the crew covered my jet ski with roofing debris and staples instead of simply asking me to move it. Communication was lacking throughout the project, and there was very little supervision. The crew also damaged my patio cover during demolition. The contractor claimed it was pre-existing due to dry rot, despite previous repairs and the city's only requirement being replacement of one small section. That section was left unfinished, and I was asked to pay a change order to have it painted, as well as another change order to repair the patio cover damage. For the premium price I paid, I expected professionalism, accountability, and quality customer service. Instead, I experienced permitting issues, property damage, poor communication, and repeated requests for additional charges. A friend recently asked me for a roofing recommendation. Had my experience been positive, Magellan's Roofing would have earned that referral. Instead, I recommended looking elsewhere

Because of my busy work schedule, I wasn't able to thoroughly inspect the fence before signing off. Once I finally did, I noticed several issues, including large and uneven gaps between the pickets, one broken picket that wasn't properly nailed in, and another that was bent at the top. I contacted Juan, and to his credit, he had the crew return to replace the broken and bent pickets. However, he never addressed my concerns about the large gaps in the fence. This is supposed to be a privacy fence, yet I can clearly see into my neighbor's yard when standing near it, which defeats its purpose. I reached out again regarding the gaps. Juan responded that he would let me know the next steps. Instead, he later sent me photos of someone else's backyard and tried to use those pictures to explain why the gaps were normal. Those photos were not of my property. I understand that wood naturally shrinks as it dries, but the gaps on my fence were already significant, and this was less than a month after installation. Rather than addressing my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, they chose to make excuses and use photos from another project to support their position. I've spent weeks going back and forth trying to resolve this issue, and it's been incredibly frustrating. I expected better communication, honesty, and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing, and I cannot recommend this company.
