Our waitress was super great, very friendly and gave us good recommendations on beers based on our preferences. I got their Yachter's Daughter and it was light and fresh. For food, we got their Dinner Island Proscuitto and it was loaded with prosciutto. I would have liked more fresh basil (maybe even fresh ones) on top. Their Cesar salad was well dressed and had loads of cheese. It was kind of busy, but they had plenty of seats and service was quick.

First meal on San Juan Island! I didn't order an entree, just two appetizers for lunch. I loved my calamari and hummus plate. The cabbage salad under the calamari was so refreshing. The calamari was crunchy and savory, and it was good both with and without the dipping sauce. The hummus plate was very light yet flavorful and actually filled me up well. The garlic on top was the highlight of the dish. My partner said his black bean burger was just mid, but the fries were good. The only thing I need to complain about is that it took us about 30 minutes to get our food, and I was borderline starving. The staff were friendly too.

The server was great and wrote separate checks for our large group. Great beer selection. Clam chowder has a smoked flavor. It also had carrots which added a sweet flavor. Not my favorite New England clam chowder ever. Caesar salad was okay. Enjoyed the San Juan Pilsner.

A decent spot for a bite, lots of ciders and beer - learned the hard way this is NOT the same as San Juan Seltzers which was disappointing (not their fault, obvi). Chose this restaurant since it was one of few American fare still open later in the day and close to the ferry terminal. Service was friendly, we were at a high top table covered by the bartender who had a nearly full bar top. We were forgotten about for a bit but nothing walking up to the bar to order for our table of 6 didnt solve. Food was as to be expected, chicken tenders were on the smaller side and slightly lackluster in flavor. We left with full bellies and empty plates, so I would definitely give other dishes a try. MASSIVE kudos though for them whipping up a CBJ burger when I realized I missed ordering as our food came out.

First meal in the San Juan Islands and it was a great one! My family and I spent the afternoon exploring the island and were looking forward to kicking back, having a bite, and a drink. San Juan Island Brewing called to us as it's conveniently near town and dog-friendly. We arrived on a gorgeous Sunday evening. We sat outside due to having our pup and luckily there was no wait! There are several long communal tables, some with umbrellas and some not. We sat under an umbrella but it didn't cover all of the sun. Inside is very spacious with nice viewing areas and plenty of tables for all party sizes. The vibe all around was laid-back and pleasant. The service by our waitress was wonderful. She provided great recommendations and things came out swiftly. My family and I all ordered our dishes but we did share the Pub Pretzel. I had the Wild Salmon Sandwich as my main. The pretzel was phenomenal--so freaking soft, right salt ratio, and lovely mustard dip. My salmon sandwich was heavenly. I love salmon and in Washington, you just have to get it. The salmon was buttery and rich, the peppers provided a little kick, and the sandwich was very filling! My family enjoyed their meals and we all took our fair share to go. I highly recommend coming to San Juan Island Brewing for good food and a drink if you're visiting Friday Harbor. I wouldn't mind coming back! The restaurant is off A Street and easy to find as it's a big building, there's also a giant parking lot out front.

Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food summed up our memorable experience. This was the first restaurant we tried when we arrived on the island and ended up being one of our favorites. The menu's drink to food pairing recommendations helped us save time on deciding what to order. I opted for the burger was well-balanced between the juicy patty, savory bacon jam, mild cheese, and fresh arugula. I highly recommend it! The interior has a relaxed atmosphere boasting plenty of TVs playing live sports. We dined on the outdoor patio which was a perfect way to enjoy our grub and brew.

We had a great meal here including our beers. Our server was friendly and helpful with selecting beers and pizza. The cauliflower crust was so delicious we were almost worried it wasn't GF! Highly recommend! We sat out front on the outdoor seating area which was lovely with beautiful weather.

Great place! For a bar, not too loud, good music and plenty of room. I'm sure Summers are much busier. They do have outdoor seating too. Service was fast and friendly. So many beers to choose from of course. I had the Lane 4 which was very nice, not heavy with great flavor. Brad had the Island Fir which is a double red IPA. He liked it, too bitter for me. We ordered the Pig War Pizza, it was amazing. I loved the chewy crust and the tangy tomato sauce. Plenty of sausage, pepperoni and prosciutto. It is a bit salty with all the pork, just drink more beer. We enjoyed the food and ambiance!

Really great award winning beers and hood food. Easy access from the ferry by foot or car. Lots of parking. Friendly service in a contemporary atmosphere. They pair some of their food entrees with suggested brews. They also serve wine and cider.

Dropped in for lunch after a long morning driving around the island. Great location and beautiful facility. Hailey greeted, seated us and took care of us for the next hour. She was super pleasant and attentive. I ordered a flight of beers, all very good, and my wife ordered a glass of rose. We ordered the special potato leek soup, the special corned beef with beer braised cabbage on rye and the prosciutto and arugula pizza. All very good. Had to get a box for the pizza and sandwich because there was just too much. Glad we swung by this place.

First stop to refuel upon arrival in Friday Harbor. The restaurant was really busy but they were able to set up a table and get us seated quite quickly. The brewery is very rustic with open beams and high ceilings. Lots of tables with glass doors that open out onto a large front deck. The food was amazing and the blackberry cider was a great addition. Would definitely recommend!

Great beer, ale, cider, and food.

Anna our server is charming and hard working. My family was so happy with her. We ordered to share the pretzel with the mustard dips the clam chowder, the salmon sandwich, the chicken sandwich and I had a flight of five special beers and cider. They were all excellent and I am definitely a cider man. However, the last ale that I tried was so good. We sat outside and it was wonderful, warm, inviting nice people and our waitress was off the hook awesome. Her name is Anna.

I love that it's a kid friendly restaurant despite it being a brewery. They also had popcorn on the menu which my kids loved. The food portions are big and all looked delicious. I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich with their spicy aioli sauce.

More great pizza for the rest of us. Cousin Vinnie's is not a hole in the wall pizzeria it's a walk up to a door you can't enter and order directly with Vinnie working in the kitchen! Bad A**! We ordered up one large thin crust with olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage. One personal size all meat pizza and cannolis. Vinnie told me to come back in about 35-40 minutes. He's a one man show people. Rolled back to the front of the pizzeria and Vinnie was showing off other pies he created for orders infront of us. Our party of three visited for lunch at noon on a Thursday. Since we had a reservation, we were seated immediately at a lovely table right by the window. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were incredibly courteous and friendly throughout our meal. We initially thought about starting with some small plates, but we were so eager for seafood that we jumped straight into the entrees. We weren't disappointed: Bouillabaisse: This was our first time trying this dish, and it was the highlight for us. It was incredibly flavorful--exactly what we were craving. Spicy Prawn Mac and Cheese: It definitely lived up to its name! It wasn't "blow-your-head-off" hot, but it had a perfect, noticeable kick that really elevated the dish. Blackened Cod Tacos: These were fantastic. The cod was perfectly prepared and worked so well with the rest of the taco ingredients. We also enjoyed a couple of non-alcoholic drinks that hit the spot, though I'll admit that since I'm writing this a couple of weeks later, I forgot to snag photos or the specific names of the drinks! Very good and shareable with one other person. The snapper sandwich wowed me! The bright escovitch and creamy avocado paired wonderfully with the snapper. Every bite was delightful. The house-made potato chips, however, were disappointing. They were thin, not crispy, and sticking to my teeth. If you can, substitute for fries or salad. My whiskey tasted like it had sat on the shelf for ages, not rotating stock. I had to have them take it back, though they tried to say it was my fault for ordering ice with my drink. The food all came out relatively quickly once we were able to place our order, but it was just okay. Nothing was spectacular, and after the initial impression, that did not bode well for the establishment. The one positive is that, unlike other very busy locations around Friday Harbor, they stayed open late and were able to seat us, though the reason for that was everything I've stated above, slower service, poor drinks, and just okay food. The lack of people frequenting the establishment should have been a red flag, but it was late and we were hungry. Needless to say, we did not return during our long weekend stay on the island and, unless they're the only folks open when you need a bite, I might suggest you look elsewhere.
