The space itself is very clean, but it seemed understaffed. We arrived around 3:45 pm for our 4:00 pm appointment, rang the bell, and a staff member came out of a massage room looking confused about our booking before asking us to sit and wait. There were also a few inconsistencies in the experience. I was offered a heated bed, but my partner, who had an appointment at the same time, was not. Small details like that made the experience feel less thoughtful. Additionally, the staff didn't come across as very welcoming, and when I was lying face down, the sheets had a damp, wet-laundry smell, which was off-putting. Overall, while the space is clean, the service and overall experience didn't stand out, and it's not a place I would return to or recommend.

I had to ask three times for her to focus on the specific area I came in for and after the second time I asked she said, "Okay, let me just get into this other hip flexor" still not understanding that I wanted to spend the time elsewhere. So over 30 mins was spent in two very small and specific areas I did not want to prioritize. Her style is mostly elbow pin and tiny pulls. Her hands did not touch any other part of my body beyond about 12inches between the tops of my hips to mid glute. There was no smoothing out the tissue or general surrounding tissue massage. Literally just elbow and finger digging. No lotion used even when skin dragging was happening (which hurt). There wasn't attention given to how pressing on my glutes could be straining my low back (a condition I communicated in my intake AND in person), and as a result I had to readjust and push back multiple times and now have a flared low back. However, these massage rooms are barely "rooms", and you can hear every patron entering, leaving, paying, talking, and even the music from the neighboring restaurants in the shopping center. My masseuse did his best to create a relaxing environment, utilizing a space heater and creating some white noise, but it was ultimately overshadowed by the staff having to speak from room-to-room to eachother mid-session, to ensure other patrons needs were being met. That being said, it was a nice massage. I was relaxed and felt great, until it came time to check-out... My 90-minute massage was fair, and cost $92, as advertised. Upon trying to leave a cash tip (I thought $10 would suffice) after paying by card. I was basically told that my tip amount was insufficient and that I would need to swipe my card again. Feeling bad, I did, only for the masseuse to FILL OUT HIS OWN determined tip on the iPad--an extra $15. I was honestly so taken aback that I didn't truly realize how violating it was until I left the building.
