I can't say enough great things about my experience at Sloco. Scott was my massage therapist and is a legit expert. This was the best massage I've had in ages. He has a nice way of warming up your muscles so your body can fully benefit from the massage. He was able to work out some serious kinks in my back and feet while still making it relaxing. AMAZING! I just went today; and I was so miserable with a dry cough but the wonderful lady who did my brows totally didn't have any problem working around my stupid cough! I also have to add they offered me water multiple times which really helped me get a handle on my dry throat situation. Natasha was welcoming and very accommodating. Coconut water to start then we saw Kate and Ally (Allie) for a side by side couples massage. I loved my pregnancy massage done by Ally she was pregnant herself and just knew all the right areas to target. I felt very comfortable and the pressure was adjustable anytime I needed it. She was checking on me and gave me wonderful pointers afterwards. The kombucha was a nice touch after the massage. My husband was so relaxed, Kate took great care of him and he enjoyed his massage very much that he slept, it was a great experience here! I was shocked that some of the services would only take minutes (not hours) which is perfect for my nutty schedule. If you're not familiar with the services but are curious (like I was), I highly suggest browsing the website, making a list of questions, then scheduling a tour. When you go in for a tour be sure to leave enough time to try 1 or 2 services! If you're able, definitely purchase a membership. I went in for a relaxing facial that was advertised to come with a wild lime scalp message on the website. The few seconds Logan spent fiddling with my hair can not be considered a scalp message. I don't get many facials, but this by far was the worst I have ever received for the money. When I was checking out- I was asked how was the facial - I replied ok. They asked if I wanted to book another, without even questing my ok response, or inquiring how they could have improved the experience. read more

Everybody here was incredibly friendly and professional. They have a large variety of services (which is a great way to get a bit of education about what is available to you), but their service really stole the show. When you message Sloco they immediately text you and offer you an intro service which is super cool. I signed up for the short session (20 minutes maybe - the perfect amount) of the infrared sauna - it was GREAT!! Then I followed it up with a massage and had a great experience. They also have full-body cryo chambers (which were spacious, not confining) which the staff raved about. BTW, all of the staff partook in the cryo chamber and the other services as well which seemed to speak highly of the offerings. They were very knowledgeable and passionate about what was offered and noted that the owner kept up on latest research in her field. When I return I will definitely try to suck it up for a cryo treatment based on staff recommendations. Also recommended was the red light therapy though I did love my infrared sauna treatment. They have a salt chamber treatment which is new to me but apparently is great for allergies and bronchitis and all things breathing related. This is the most stressful booking experience I've ever had. My mom ordered me a spa package as a gift and it felt like everything just went wrong. I called to reschedule the date because I told them I couldn't make it to the original date. Apparently when RESCHEDULING you need to cancel the original date (the whole purpose of rescheduling.) No one told me that when I called to reschedule and it's nowhere on their website. To avoid getting charged the full price (an extra $210) we called back to try to explain. My mom calls me super upset because they didn't understand the first time. After she calls twice and I call, they say they're not charging us but repeat their a 24 hour cancellation policy. I literally rescheduled 5 days in advance. Then I'm asked why I didn't schedule the facial with the massage. I told them I thought they'd schedule a package deal together(?) I was never asked. I call the day of to make sure nothing is going to go wrong, and they took down the card information but never put it in the system. Then remind them it's a package deal... The massage and facial were wonderful. But my booking experience was so stressful I didn't even want to be there which is just stressful. It just felt like the booking was their error and then I had to do everything to fix it. Even mentioning it was stressful to the front desk didn't even ask. read more

I contacted Sloco last minute through Yelp for a facial on a Sunday morning, hoping for an opening, but not assuming they'd have anything. They responded VERY quickly with a few openings that morning and gave me a choice of two or three. While I'm not much of a last-minute planner, I am so very thankful this worked out! I had a 60-minute facial with Carina (I think it was Carina?) and both it and she were phenomenal. My only complaint was that the direct steam on my face was a little too much to handle, but as soon as I brought it up to her, she instantly apologized and moved it a bit further, empathizing that she understood and wished she could have used a different type. I am very sensitive to any scents, especially sweet or artificial ones, and listed that on my info sheet. Not once did she use anything with any scent other than anything perfectly natural or soothing. (I've had this issue with massages or facials before where it causes an instant migraine and it ruins the whole experience. Not this time!) My only constructive criticism would be the pressure during the massage portion could have been a little stronger, but I also didn't get a facial for a massage, so I'm not going to complain about that whatsoever. Loved the feeing when you walk into this spa. They have a great retail area and courteous and kind front desk girls. They have a lot to offer as far as a variety of treatments and services. Chronic pain was significantly minimized after 1 visit with Scott! For 20 years, I've had chronic lower back pain and have not been able to identify the cause or solution after going to many wellness practitioners, including massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors and more. It has been a daily pain and has been incredibly frustrating having no solution. After ONE visit with Scott, he tried a muscle release that actually made a difference immediately after, and more importantly, the pain relief lasted! I'm not one to think there's a magic fix that happens immediately. Typically, it takes a lot of work and time to fix a long-term pain, BUT this was just that: immediate AND long-lasting. It's been over a month and I'm still feeling very good. It's like a new lease on life. I highly recommend Scott and SLOCo Massage and Wellness.
