Came here on Sunday morning. Hours listed said it opens at 8:00am. It is now 8:49am and still no sign of anyone. Tried multiple times to call to what seems to be someone's cell phone and left voicemails. So sad considering I used to come here all the time before when it was Sata garage.

Tire for hire that you can admire like a sire that is on fire because your need for new tire is so dire!!

Found their ad on Craigslist and they had a phone number you can call or text. Mind you, this was a Friday night about 8pm and I couldn't believe I got a response back within 10 minutes! Told him that I would be there in the morning to get 2 front tires replaced. Got lionhart LH501 tires for only $135 out the door cash!!! What a killer deal! It took like 10 minutes and this guy did not waste time because he was working on another car and when there was downtime , he hopped over to my car to start on my vehicle! Other places quoted me same tires for $170 so I saved quite a bit and so with so much money saved, I gave a tip. Everyone who gets service done here, if you can, leave a tip. I mean we tip 15% or more at restaurants so whats the difference tipping here? This is my new tire place. This guy who installed my tires you can tell he's not scared of hard work. Best prices on quality tires, quick as heck service, and answers whatever questions you may have. Come on now, he even offer his cell phone number so you can even text and contact him directly??? That's what you call service. Bring cash so you and the business saves money. This place to me should be called "SaTa-sfied" Garage because I am fully satisfied!! This tire shop is like all my ex girlfriends...cheap, quick, and easy!!! Thanks for a great first time experience! I drove all the way from Yorba Linda and I would definitely drive back again and will surely refer all my friends and family here! C1X see

    Hunter Road Force Alignment Rack

Was in need of an alignment for my car since I had installed air suspension on my car three weeks ago PLUS I had barely put my new wheels and tires on a couple days ago and didn't want my tires wearing out as fast. I normally go to an alignment shop in West Covina but noticed how expensive they were and so it forced me to shop around and compare prices. Called SATA Tires this morning and asked for a quote and wow...it was less than half of what I usually pay and so I told Joe that I would be on my way. Got there and the mechanic had also barely arrived as well (keep in mind this was around 8:30am) and waited for him to open the shop. He was nice and honest. I asked him if his alignment machine would scratch my freshly powdercoated rims and he said there is a chance it might get scratched. I told him if he can just be as careful as he can to my wheels then. I basically only need my toes adjusted back to factory settings and since my wheels are pretty wide, I cambered the rear wheels myself so they can fit. I told the mechanic Ceech (hopefully I didn't butcher his name) to not mess with my camber but only the toes. When I saw the alignment rack I noticed the brand was from hunter. I've heard very good things about hunter, especially their balancing machine. Their known to providing the most accurate readings above all other brands too. Anyway I was pretty happy that they use a hunter alignment rack, not only is it cool but it's a laser alignment rack too. Anyway Ceech took about 20 minutes to adjust my car's toes and I was out of there in no time. I came in and my car has 12 red readings and after him fixing the alignment it went down to 4 red readings in which those 4 red readings are fine. Also gave me a print out. Ceech also told me that shops shouldn't charge so much for alignments because it's not a hard thing to do and it's one of the simplest things to do in which I totally agree. I got a good price out the door as well and he told me that the price would be the same for me if I ever do come back in the future. Regardless. I will go back in the future. This place is officially my go to place for alignments now too. I will definitely refer my friends and family to this place. Also just a tip, this place is also under new management and is located next to the 76 gas station store. Oh and btw. They also sell used tires for those looking to not spend a lot not tires.

Shortly after returning to get the wheels balanced for the 2nd time.

One of the worst tire shops I have ever been to. They use the wrong wheel weights for your rims, over tighten your lugs because they don't use torque sticks, this results in striped lug nuts as shown below, then they say stuff like "it happens all the time" ...maybe at your garage. The sad thing is this happened after I brought my car back because they did not balance the wheels correctly when I got four new tires. There is a reason why this garage is cheap! Blows my mind the good reviews on here. So if you like your lug nuts put on with 600ft pounds of torque go here & enjoy the problems that occur from it. Cheap does not always mean good people. Reply to Joe s. - you are right I have been a mechanic OVER 5 years and that's why I know the difference, and this is why I know what you did is wrong. There are two different styles of weights, some you hammer on and some you stick on. Some applications you only use one or the other its sad you don't know this but I am just mentioning it as something else I noticed, honestly its the least of my concerns after what you did.. As far as you stripping my lug nut and not being able to remove the tire, you know why this happened its because when you put the tire on you do not use torque sticks and you overtightened the bolt. The air guns you use have over 600ft pounds ( I am not guessing or gauging this visually, like you think) of torque and most lug nuts require only about 100ft pounds so that's 5x the amount of torque needed, this is why you stripped the bolt trying to take it off, because it was on there with so much force. Yes, you gave me $50 back sadly thats not even close to what a shop would charge to fix it or the amount of time you wasted in my day.. but thanks for the $50 I used it to buy a new wheel stud and fix your poor work. You say post a picture of the other wheel? with "the bad lug nuts" but my other wheel is fine and what does that have to do with what you did. Your the only one who put on the new tires.. I got all 4 from you so anything that was there was becuse of you. You are far from great, and miles away from good. I had to drill out the wheel stud and lugnut and replace both. What it comes down to is that you blame everything but yourself, its "the poor materials" or its my fault.. own up to what you do and fix your accidents. I did not enjoy spending my day fixing this and I dont enjoy writing a bad review the $50 is nowhere close to the time it cost me to fix this. Wow the excuses from you, my reviews are more favorable if you look at my 4 & 5-star reviews compared to my 1 stars. If you think "hard to please" is doing something right, yes I am hard to please. Everyone who has worked on cars knows the GM caps come off from time to time.. but its just a cap, and the nut is underneath. I have removed 1000x of these yet I have never stripped one so bad I could not remove it. I should also clarify when I say I was a mechanic for 5 years, this is just the amount of time I did it professionally as a line tech. I have been working on cars for over 20 years and have formal training through Lincoln Technical School even before I started working on cars. If you would like I can upload my certification, I doubt you can do the same. If you have torque STICKS (p.s. you use a stick on an air gun) then hand them out to your workers and make them use them because clearly, you are not as I witnessed. It's not even the fact that you did this or wasted most of my day that made me take the time to write this its the fact you have 110 excuses and refused to take the blame, compensate, and/or fix it properly. You say "it is not my job to be careful with something already messed up" ...but It's always your job to be careful with someone else's property no matter what the condition when they put it in your care.

When I called, the associate was very helpful and was even able to add my vehicle as checked in which helped with immensely with my time frame. Check in was easy when I arrived, and they finished my vehicle in the time promised. However, I had to turn back after I had already left because they did NOT give me back my car wheel lock key. No only was it annoying to have to circle back and park but the also didn't check. If they're detailed professionals they wouldn't have given my wheel lock key to another, similar vehicle. Also I had to stop another associate to ask him to verify they this key truly is mine and fits my wheel locks. He was nice enough to assist. The last bit came a week later when I got my car serviced. My mechanic shop mentioned a tire balance and rotation notification on my dash. I informed them that I had just taken my car for two new tires so all that should have already been taken care of. Still, I said where they could find my wheel lock key in case they needed to perform the service. The mechanic shop ended up calling me to tell me they indeed had to rotate my tires because my two newest should've been placed up front, but they were not. I do not plan to return to this Industry location if I can hep it. I've never had any of these concerns at the West Covina or Glendora locations, and I've been a customer for over 20 years
