The food was definitely great, lots of flavor. And they prepared them very well... most of the staff seemed really great as they were very friendly to everyone. Our waiter on the other hand was very hard to work with, ignored us most of the time. When we would order it felt like he wasn't listening and got our orders wrong. Even towards the end of the night we asked if they serve fried ice cream and he said yes walked away and brought two out. We were only wanting to share one. We will come again but look for someone else to wait us.

I often dance with Mexican food and Pachangas has the rhythm down pat! We walzed right in and were seated immediately at a table we requested. Often when we specify a particular table... for comfort, street view, or request to be further from the restroom door, the hostess will struggle to accommodate but not here because the hostess was the owner. This place has that "hole in the wall" feeling and none of the corporate cookie cutter blandness. Their vibe is nice and the staff are great. The waiter was extremely competent and pleasant. It's located downtown in walking distance of the hotel, the river front and the famous Idaho Falls. Their salsa is made from roasted peppers and it's just ideal. Not too hot and the perfect consistency. I got the Burrito and the wife got Fundido. The portions are great, the sides of beans and rice were delicious, but the star of the show was their Honey Mustard Salsa! It's the most unique tasting side dish I can ever remember. It went with their chips perfectly and I even dipped my burrito in it. I recommend you Tango with Pachangas when you're in Idaho Falls.

My mother-in-law raves about this place. I have visited twice now and both times the outcome has been the same. Service is lackluster, it's a noisy environment, and the food is subpar when compared to the multitude of other Mexican eateries in IF. From their tortilla chips to their rice and beans to their meat there is one common theme: blandness. The food is not inedible but while you're eating it there is no fiesta en la boca which is common when using traditional Mexican flavors. Those flavors must have not been invited to the fiesta at this establishment. Lastly, their taco game is weak. They don't serve carnitas, al pastor, chorizo, pibil, tinga, nor any other traditional meat preparation except carne asada. Won't be returning.

Their pollo fundido is so good! It's my favorite thing on the menu. I usually won't eat fish tacos, but they make delicious fish tacos here.

It didn't take long for my food to come out and they called my number so I went to the pickup place for my food. It was very good. Tasty, not covered with cheese, and plenty of rice and beans to compliment the Chili Relleno with fresh tortillas on the side. The only reason for taking off a star was I expected it to be spicier... but maybe that is me and not the food. I like highly seasoned food. I hope to return and bring my partner for a taste of another dish they make!

That's one thing I don't like about Mexican food breakfast burritos--to much potato, but they fixed it up, added extra egg and cheese to fill up the massive tortilla without extra charge. I got it smothered in cheese and green sauce, omgosh it was sooo tasty, and the relleno is one of the better ones in Idaho falls. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with green chille & cheese, but some manage to. Morenitas smothers their's in a tasty red sauce. They have a wide variety of drinks, and wide selection of beers( pretty sure all bottled) the service, there was no communication gap. It was high energy, talkative, helpful, and she seemed genuinely happy to be there--nice change. They give you a buzzer to come pick up your food. They are pretty busy, and keep costs down by not running it out to your table, but the dining room is not very big, with multiple bench tables big enough to seat like 5. Anyway, grabbing the food is worth the "taste." The atmo, well not horrible, but a little tooo..shared, cafeteria like...it was ok, i could hear who was with me (she gave 5 stars) but it was bright and open .. didn't feel like a place to kick back and enjoy this great food. If I could, id have given 4.5 stars... But atmo and..oh yeah, I'm not sure if this is all day, but when i asked for coffee, which was on the menu, all they had was instant, that's just...no thanx lol, but 4 stars, with a 5 star lean?

The Quessabirria looked amazing but only tasted of grease which dripped freely all over everything. The carne asada burrito was ok. The meat didn't really stand out and it only tasted of beans, lettuce and sour cream. The two things that were good were the two pork taco options. The pork carnitas had the most amazing texture I've ever been lucky to try. It was moist and crunchy from the flat top. It is definitely worth giving this meat choice a try in anything they have. The true star though was the Adobada tacos. They were amazing. There was tons of meat with so much flavor. These were the best Adobada I've ever had anywhere. I think the highs were very high but the lows were just as low. They have decent salsas but if you can't take a good bit of heat you won't be able to handle even the weakest one. Definitely worth checking out.

Waiters: decent, maybe understaffed Food: well seasoned, decent portions Cost: it's a little on the pricey side and average dish is $14-18$ Bathrooms: adequate but single person only. Interior ambience is awesome. It kinda has a Mexican vineyard/casita sorta vibe. It being so unassuming from the outside I'd never stop by before this time and can say I am pleasantly surprised by the interior, the front entrance is a little cramped, but has some Mexican tropical plant vibes going on, with some pretty interesting plants. Although spiky, so be watchful of the kiddos. Pleasantly surprised by the decor as the outside is pretty lame. Upon entry, you greeted with a delightful aroma, which is always a plus in a restaurant, a good sign that the food is going to be tasty! The bad: The chips and salsa are not bottomless. The salsa is extremely watery and very hard to eat. Although the flavor is really good you have to sip or drink it to find that out as the seasoning is in the liquid. It really defeats the purpose of chips and salsa if you ask me and I am pretty annoyed by that. It's also not very shareable friendly that way. But if you want the easiest eating experience with it with the full flavor of the salsa broth I t's easier to take a drink of salsa and then eat a chip, again pretty annoying. The beans are also on the loose side almost watery, the color is unappetizing, but flavor is decent, you can taste the lard I believe and it is well salted, sticks to the chip a whole lot easier than the salsa at the very least. Less flavorful than the salsa though. The price, $28 plus tip for the Molcajete dish I felt wasn't necessary worth it. It was big enough to share but it felt more like a $19-20 dish than an almost $30 one. We called ahead of time and they basically couldn't understand what we were saying, English Spanish barrier. The good: Lemon slice for water was very generous, usually that's a skimpy item, not sure if that was a fluke or not. They have the good sonic style ice as well! The ambiance was nice. Delicious food. We had the Molcajete. The sizzling Molcajete stays hot the whole meal. A combination of well seasoned chorizo, chicken, beef, shrimp, onions and peppers swimming in their juices, the flavor of the chorizo permeating throughout the dish. It had a well seasoned great flavor and the meats were all tender and not overcooked. It also came with grilled green onions and grilled cactus, which both were a delight. There was 8 tortillas and two of us eating, just enough for one taco of each meat and plenty left over for combining with the beans and rice, Probably the best pico around, a little heavier on the cilantro than most places, your mileage may very. Although you don't get a ton of meat for what you are paying for. Just a taste of each for two basically. The side plate of guac, pico, rice and beans was on the light side for sharing. Overall I would go back and give it another try.
