*** Please take a minute to read. *** Unhelpful management at Jaliscos is condescending and rude when dealing with customers. The manager I spoke with continued to cut me off and disagree. He would not be worth talking to in the best of situations. I've seen them argue with customers when dining in over incorrect orders and spent forever in line picking up up my own take out that ends up being 30-60 minutes late while I camp in the lobby but still have given them chances time after time. My most recent orders from them using delivery services have been wrong 3 consecutive times with me paying for extra sides etc and them never being included while normal meals keep being incorrectly prepared. I have rated them accordingly on deliver apps and have been taken care of by Grubhub but never by the restaurant itself when I've called to address this issue. These problems extend to food pick ups we have personally made. I'm very disappointed in their service and attitude. I will look elsewhere from now on as this does not appear to be a customer focused business who seems to care about running their establishment well. Disappointing. Don't believe my opinion? Read some of the other recent Yelp reviews. Please consider your choices prior to ordering here with all the other amazing Mexican food in Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas, both sit down and fast casual. Morenitas for example is hands down very much better quality food with amazing customer focus and attitude for less than half the price of Jaliscos. I suggest to Avoid this place if at all possible. You'll be glad you're missing out on the potential frustration and most likely the current mediocrity as far as their food is concerned. Other options abound. Buena suerte!

Oh how I enjoy eating here! I moved away in 2012 and STILL think about their taco salad and delicious salsa! Staff is always gracious and helpful and the food is very consistent. On this recent visit in December, my only complaint would be how few people wore masks properly but that's no reflection on the food. I'd highly recommend them and their high backed booths at least provide a little protection from folks who are too selfish to wear masks.

My first visit was a high four star. We dined during Happy Hour and enjoyed the discounted beers - Negro Modelo - and the Tostada and the Enchilada happy hour specials. With both meals we substituted black beans for refried beans that come with the meal. Their black beans are quite good. The portion size was good. We liked the food so much we decided to visit again to try their Chile Rellenos. These were sorely disappointing! There was no taste of the poblano pepper, the cheese was all I could taste and once leaving the restaurant I had a terrible stomach ache from too much cheese. I guess if you like to eat a mountain of cheese this would be to your taste. But I've had Chile Rellenos where you could taste the poblano pepper. It enhanced the cheese. The food was not bad, just very bland and no amount of hot pepper sauce could make a dent in the cheese. I will only return for happy hour with my meal being the specials. I'm not interested in trying any of the rest of the menu since I was so disappointed with the Chile Rellenos.

Are you fucken serious.... This is a joke!!!

The Quessabirria looked amazing but only tasted of grease which dripped freely all over everything. The carne asada burrito was ok. The meat didn't really stand out and it only tasted of beans, lettuce and sour cream. The two things that were good were the two pork taco options. The pork carnitas had the most amazing texture I've ever been lucky to try. It was moist and crunchy from the flat top. It is definitely worth giving this meat choice a try in anything they have. The true star though was the Adobada tacos. They were amazing. There was tons of meat with so much flavor. These were the best Adobada I've ever had anywhere. I think the highs were very high but the lows were just as low. They have decent salsas but if you can't take a good bit of heat you won't be able to handle even the weakest one. Definitely worth checking out.

Waiters: decent, maybe understaffed Food: well seasoned, decent portions Cost: it's a little on the pricey side and average dish is $14-18$ Bathrooms: adequate but single person only. Interior ambience is awesome. It kinda has a Mexican vineyard/casita sorta vibe. It being so unassuming from the outside I'd never stop by before this time and can say I am pleasantly surprised by the interior, the front entrance is a little cramped, but has some Mexican tropical plant vibes going on, with some pretty interesting plants. Although spiky, so be watchful of the kiddos. Pleasantly surprised by the decor as the outside is pretty lame. Upon entry, you greeted with a delightful aroma, which is always a plus in a restaurant, a good sign that the food is going to be tasty! The bad: The chips and salsa are not bottomless. The salsa is extremely watery and very hard to eat. Although the flavor is really good you have to sip or drink it to find that out as the seasoning is in the liquid. It really defeats the purpose of chips and salsa if you ask me and I am pretty annoyed by that. It's also not very shareable friendly that way. But if you want the easiest eating experience with it with the full flavor of the salsa broth I t's easier to take a drink of salsa and then eat a chip, again pretty annoying. The beans are also on the loose side almost watery, the color is unappetizing, but flavor is decent, you can taste the lard I believe and it is well salted, sticks to the chip a whole lot easier than the salsa at the very least. Less flavorful than the salsa though. The price, $28 plus tip for the Molcajete dish I felt wasn't necessary worth it. It was big enough to share but it felt more like a $19-20 dish than an almost $30 one. We called ahead of time and they basically couldn't understand what we were saying, English Spanish barrier. The good: Lemon slice for water was very generous, usually that's a skimpy item, not sure if that was a fluke or not. They have the good sonic style ice as well! The ambiance was nice. Delicious food. We had the Molcajete. The sizzling Molcajete stays hot the whole meal. A combination of well seasoned chorizo, chicken, beef, shrimp, onions and peppers swimming in their juices, the flavor of the chorizo permeating throughout the dish. It had a well seasoned great flavor and the meats were all tender and not overcooked. It also came with grilled green onions and grilled cactus, which both were a delight. There was 8 tortillas and two of us eating, just enough for one taco of each meat and plenty left over for combining with the beans and rice, Probably the best pico around, a little heavier on the cilantro than most places, your mileage may very. Although you don't get a ton of meat for what you are paying for. Just a taste of each for two basically. The side plate of guac, pico, rice and beans was on the light side for sharing. Overall I would go back and give it another try.

My second glass of wine was much better. Staff would do well to check the wine glasses before they put anything in them. Their chips and salsa were generous, good, but nothing to write home about. I also ordered their shrimp Enchiladas with green sauce and that was the best thing of the evening. The green sauce was tasty without being overpoweringly spicy and the shrimp was cooked well and not overdone. Portion was generous in the rice and beans were tasty.
