I have been a long time fan of Fiesta Ole over 35 years. I went through the drive-thru tonight at around 8 at the Yellowstone location. Ordered a burrito, cheese tots, large diet coke, ranch and fry sauce. When I got up to the window the kid took my money. Then him and the other 2 kids were more concerned with playing than preparing my food. I didn't get my drink or ranch and fry sauce. Also didn't get any silverware or napkins. The burrito supreme i got looked and tasted like crap. Sorry to say this long time customer will not return. read more

I'll give this place two stars, and that is probably being extremely generous. Prices were cheap, and after tasting the food, I understand why it was cheap. Tater tots were extremely greasy and borderline inedible. Soft taco was so-so, definitely not of the caliber of a place like TacoTime or Del Taco. Drinks are standard Pepsi fare - nothing special. They do give you a bag of chips while waiting for your food - not sure what seasoning they put on them, but it wasn't good. Service was OK, nothing to shout home about considering they were out of napkins and other utensils. Ambiance is a really old restaurant, probably like an old TacoTime if I had to guess. There are better choices in Idaho Falls/Ammon. read more

Why do I keep coming back here? Nostalgia? I don't even know. I worked at the one in Rigby nearly 17 years ago, and the food was great! We made everything fresh (except the chili Verde which comes frozen in a bag), customers at drive thru never had to wait more than a minute and a half at the window before they got their order, and if we ever messed up an order we made sure our customers were taken care of. So, why does the 17th street location suck so badly? If you want quick, friendly, delicious service, don't go here. They'll microwave your lettuce in your soft taco for you whether you like it or not. You'll wait at the drive thru for 20-40 minutes depending on whether or not you're the only car or if there are two cars in front of yours. Oh! They'll also charge you for guac on both of your burritos but only give you ONE with guac and then throw a fit when you ask if they're going to refund you for the guac they DIDN'T put on your burrito and then throw your money at you through the window without an apology because HOW DARE YOU want your dollar back for something you didn't get. I work nearby, and am just absolutely fed up with the quality of service and food at this location. Skyline, Rigby, and Yellowstone are all great, but for some reason 17th street fails at life spectacularly every single time. read more

I went in for a quick dinner of a chimichanga dinner plate. It took 22 minutes to make it from the order speaker and the window. When given my sack there was no "thank you" let alone an apology for the delays. As I check my order the extra guacamole I had paid for was missing. No one was at the window so I honked twice and did not get a response. So I knocked on the window. The woman came to the window and instead of inquiring what my issue was she very rudely told me not to knock on the window like that and almost slammed it closed when I spoke up and said my order was wrong. Had it not been for the polite gentleman I would not have received any service at all. The woman slammed the window and walked away, but the gentleman returned to the window with the missing condiment. Bad service and mediocre food. I won't be back. read more

The menu was pricy for whst you get. We were very disappointed by the soft tacos. Looked like burritos and it was just ground beef and wilted shredded lettuce. It's Fiesta Ole. Not great but not bad. Better than $3 per street taco or $8-10 per burrito next door at (overpriced i.m.o.) Sweet Burrito! Got a large Family Nacho for $9.05 for me and 2 kids to share with beans, shredded chicken, ground beef, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, tomatoes, olives, onions & sour cream on the side. I got pico or something off the sauce bar and it was good. They only sell water in bottles as they don't even have a water function on their soda dispenser so if you don't pay exorbitant prices for drinks when eating out keep that in mind and take your own water? Their restaurant and bathroom are nice and warm when it's cold outside (was today anyway) and the bathroom hallway was festively decorated and they had a tree up so that's festive and fun in my opinion. read more

We came up to Idaho Falls to visit some friends. After arriving around 10, we decided to go grab some dinner. Obviously choices are limited in Idaho Falls, but I would have preferred going to the grocery store and getting some snacks over this. The menu is your typical mexican american fast food joint menu. We decided to get the family pack for four that included some tacos, bean crispers and some tater tots. The tater tots were great, the rest was 'meh'. Going through the drive thru took longer than it should have, but we got our food and got out for around $20 for 4 people. Price wasn't bad, but food wasn't good. Not awful, but not something I would care to go back for. I feel so bad for the late night eaters of Idaho Falls. read more

The food was the normal fiesta ole style grub. The building itself is quite run down. Floors are sticky and paint is peeling. As far as environment the place is a zero. Price.... 3 stars as average and service would have been a 2. So to meet in the middle somewhere of that, I'll give a 2. Worst Mexican food I have EVER tasted. The cashier was rude, rolled her eyes when I asked for both the green and red sauce. The bean burrito wasn't folded correctly....or folded at all! After one bite that nasty thing went back in the bag anyway. I went to the store on 17th Street in Idaho Falls on Monday June 24. Both doors were locked and the closed sign was hanging on the door. Employees were inside but wouldn't unlock the door even though it was 11 am and the business hours say open at 10:30 am. Had to get in my car and drive to the speaker at drive thru to tell them to unlock their doors. Once inside the service was slow and the kid at the register clearly had no idea what he was doing. I have loved eating here for years and on June 24, 2019 went to enjoy another quick meal. We found both door locked with the "closed" sign still showing. Yet, I could see people getting food at the drive up window and it was 30 minutes after their opening time. We had to go to the speaker and tell them to unlock their doors. Then we had a long wait for the food, and when we got it they had fixed the wrong thing for me. What has happened to this place? I was very upset because it has always been a favorite place for me. The food at Fiesta Ole' on 17th is really good, but I can only give them 3 stars because the cleanliness has gone downhill and the service is super slow. This Fiesta Ole has probably been my favorite and most frequent place to eat over many years. However, on several occasions lately, the service has been very poor. I understand having drive up only during the pandemic, and went there often to pick an order up. But after reopening the dining area, they have changed their days to be closed and I have found it was not open after I drove there more than once. I could see a girl inside taking selfie pictures of herself with her cell phone and tried to call the restaurant to see when they would open. It stated on the door that they were to open at 11 a.m. on that day. If the schedule changes, then change the sign on the door. And certainly don't let the customers see the worker playing on the phone while a line is at the door. I am so disappointed in a place which has been my favorite for so many years. If it is hard to get workers hired, then don't leave the old time schedule on the door and make people wait. read more

I have been a customer for the past 18 years and have always had good food and good service until today. The lady working the counter was very rude when we asked for a rag to clean off a table. She came out and wiped off our table and it was still so sticky that the napkins wouldn't even pull off the table top without part of them still stuck to the table. I went and checked 9 clean tables and they were all the same way. Somebody needs to take some degreaser to the tables and benches and clean the place up. I could even take my finger nail along the edge of the tables and scrape off the grease like strips of bacon. Disgusting! read more

I feel really bad for the customer that had a bad experience with the manager at this location, because my experience couldn't have been more opposite. I had my identity stolen not too long ago and it wasn't until my debit card declined at the drive-thru window that I had realized my bank had frozen my account due to other specious activity connected to my account number. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED!! Having never experienced this situation before and also because I frequently go to this location, I explained that I would run to my other bank and be right back with some cash. The manager came to the window and said "I know you have kids at home who are waiting to eat and going to another bank sounds like a lot of running around, so just make me a deal to keep coming back and I'm going to send you with this order on me". I was totally amazed by this young mans kindness and concern for my situation. I cried all the way home!! I will forever be a loyal customer as long as they are in business and am so grateful for the lesson that I learned about paying it forward. read more
