First off, the aesthetic of the place is beautiful. You immediately feel calm walking in. The quality of the blankets is next level. I love the different patterns and colors they have too. The employees are awesome. I came in today to see if I could switch out a tote bag for a different design. Order #3083175 - Missing Moana Towel - ship or refund Order #3083175 ordered May 26. Missing item, issue still unresolved June 24,2026. Worst customer service experience! Read BBB reviews! This company is having fulfillment issues! It's been almost a month, and my missing item issue remains unresolved. I've sent eight emails, called once, and left a voicemail. I also submitted photos of the partially opened package and Ring camera footage showing it arrived that way. Please resolve this by either shipping the missing Moana towel or issuing a refund. Your social media team is very active posting ads but customer support has been extremely slow in resolving order issues!!! read more

am extremely disappointed with my experience with Sand Cloud. My order has been stuck at a shipping terminal in Hazleton, PA and marked "undeliverable" since May 28, 2026. Since then, I have emailed Sand Cloud every day and called multiple times, leaving messages each time. As of today, I have received no response whatsoever--no email, no phone call, no update, and no package. Customer service appears to be nonexistent, and there seems to be no urgency to resolve the issue. I understand that shipping problems can happen, but completely ignoring a customer for over a week is unacceptable. I expected much better communication and support. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend ordering from Sand Cloud. read more

If you live in San Diego you need a Sand cloud towel NOW! They have an amazing array of designs, colors, and even collaborations. I first heard of Sand cloud via. shark tank. The thing I like the most about their towels is how small and compact it is compared to a regular beach towel. It takes up less space in my bag and it really works! I was shocked how clean my towel was after laying in the sand. Not only do they have beach towels but they have bath towels, hand towels, a bag that turns int a towel, and so much more. I will say it is pretty pricey for their products but they have sales here and there. It is definitely worth the investment though. read more

I have been buying items from Sand Cloud for about 4 years. I am a huge fan of their bath towels and beach towels, but my new obsession is the party blankets! The party blankets are perfect as a bed spread or blanket on my queen sized bed. They are soft and light, perfect for southern CA weather. I also love that they do collaborations with Disney and Harry Potter. My golden snitch blanket makes me so happy. They are also very soft, I like to keep one on my sofa in the winter. The bath towels are the best I've ever used. They are also thinner so they take up less closet space. They soak up water pretty well and I love the array of colors and patterns. I love that Sand Cloud listened to their customers and now make options without fringe, sorry I'm really not a fringe lover. The beach towels are fantastic, there is truly a color or design for everyone. These items are pricey, but you get the quality you pay for. The store itself is very clean and and organized. I think I was in there for around 20 minutes and was offered help 2 times, was offered for my items on my arms to be stored at the register for me at least 2 times, and there was always an employee nearby to answer any questions. I'm very unhappy with my purchase. The towels aren't absorbent enough to dry you fully so you are left damp and cold. My biggest issue has been trying to get someone to contact me regarding my order. Web site says you can only return unused with tags attached. That's a problem for me. I really hope somebody from SandCloud will reach out to me. read more

Sand Cloud is impossible to get in touch with. I placed an order online for preorder on 5/17. It said that the expected shipping is in June. I have been trying to get in contact with them inquiring when this will be sent out in June. I contacted them on 6/5, 6/10, 6/14, 6/15, and 6/17 and I have yet to hear a response. I've tried emailing the customer service email, I filled out their online customer service form, and I called the number listed. This is completely unprofessional and do not go through the headache yourself. read more

I ordered 4 towels on April 19th and still have not received them. I try to track the package and it just shows that it will "ship soon on April 22nd" and be delivered by April 30th. I have e-mailed the company but have received no communication from them. read more

I placed an order on May 30, 2026 with expected delivery within 4-6 business days. I also had one item that was a pre-order and expected to ship at a later date. My credit card was charged immediately. The shipping window came and went with no information from the company on why there was a delay. I reached out several times to inquire about my product and when it would be shipped. I finally received a response saying they got my response and are closing the ticket. No explanation, no resolve. I then asked for Sand Cloud to cancel my order and refund my money. Neither of these were honored. I did finally receive the initial product 22 days after I submitted my order and they charged my credit card. So they had my money for 22 days before I had a product. The product is not as described, but at this point, I do not trust the return process would be worth my time or effort. I made a dispute with my bank and Sand Cloud ended up being able to overturn it. This company is very shady to work with, buyer beware. Next, my preorder item had the same pattern of events. It also did not ship when promised. I reached out multiple times, asked for a cancellation and refund. No such luck. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company again and caution anyone thinking of purchasing items to think twice. read more

We always see the ads for Sand Cloud online and they look so intriguing. We finally found a friend who has one and the towel seemed pretty cool, so we wanted to get one for ourselves. We started to look more into Sand Cloud online during one of their sales. Then, we realized there was an actual store here in San Diego! We made our way over one day and the store is a lot bigger than we were expecting. It was clean and organized and had so many different options and to choose from. The staff working at the time was very nice and helpful. We decided on one of the backpack towels that you can wear as a backpack, carry some items around, and unfolds to a good sized beach towel. The online sale we saw also applied to in person purchases. So, that was a great deal. We have not had the chance to use the towel yet, but looking forward to it! read more

I love Sand Cloud! I am probably addicted at this point. My sister introduced me to the brand years ago with the towels and hair towel. Since then, I have become something of a collector. I have I think 5 party blankets that I use as a cover on my queen bed. Actually right now it is kind of cold so I am using two! They are a great weight and being 100% cotton they breathe and are super comfortable to sleep with. Their towels are lovely! I like them all! Their hair towel absorbs a good amount of water! I used to always order online but now when I am in San Diego I go by the store. that sometimes becomes a problem when I am trying to pack to home back to Florida and last time had to figure out how to fit towels, hand towels and three blankets in my suitcase! Oh well! When there is a good sale, I cannot resist! The staff are lovely and very helpful! It is a beautiful store and really fits the vibe of the area. Sometimes being plus sized and going into stores in a beauty neighborhood you can be looked at strange or feel uncomfortable and that has not happened here. Everyone is welcoming. The inside of the store is decorated so warmly and it is very calm feeling in the store. I would totally come back if I can find more storage in my home! read more
