We did a nearby location so drive was less than 15mins, we spent about 6hrs on our trip - to areas we never would of know about. We arrived at Clearwater Beach at 4pm on a Saturday, so you can imagine the parking situation would not be the best but we were able to find parking within a 1-2 minute walking distance! When we arrived at Clearwater Beach Scooter and Bike Rentals the gentleman who took care of us was so friendly and helpful. Berated every person he came in contact with during pickup of boat at ramp. Runs a business but doesn't want to work if one person delays him for any reason. It's all about give and take. Boat got 1/2 mile to the gallon because he put on a new prop, as he claimed, but obviously did no sea trials with the rig. Wanted an additional $60.00 for fuel and claimed I stole from him because I refused to pay additional fuel after the deal was done and no fuel charges are in writing. No additional fuel charges are in writing but he'll come down to threatening you that they are. Be sure to get things in writing from this outfit. Boat was clean. Anchor lines are not of sufficient length for recommended safe lengths for anchoring and bow lighting does not work to satisfy USCG Rules and Regs. Check everything out before you go. He will also harass you with text messages after you get home and think it was a ruined day because of his behavior. But he will continue to try to get the last "dig" in before its over.

If you know anything about skating, one board can be completely different than another, so this is useless. Considering all the nuance (shape, length, flex, weight) that go into a longboard, it is insanity to think that a customer would drop $160+ (their lowest price) on something that they can't test on the sidewalk. In 30+ years of skating and surfing, I have never been to a shop that wouldn't let you test out such a big purchase. Leave this shop to the tourists and posers and spend your money somewhere that actually cares about the culture.
