My friend started coming here and her eyebrows look phenomenal, so I figured I would step out of my comfort zone and give it a shot. WOW. I am so shocked I will never get them waxed again. The threading was fast and efficient. It took a total of 5 minutes to do, but my eyebrows came out looking like a supermodel. So when I made the appointment online I put in notes I have keratin treated hair but when I went to book it kept giving me weird error message about credit card so I called. They did not ask if I had any special treatment or anything but did ask on hair length and said they may charge extra which I was fine with. I arrived at my appointment and was greeted quickly by the stylist who quickly whisked me to the back to begin shampoo. She didn't ask me anything about my hair and quickly began shampooing. I learned from overhearing her talking to another stylist that she used clarifying shampoo.. which is a no-no for keratin treated hair. :( Then she put on what I assumed was the deep conditioner but not sure as she wasn't really talking to me. Just seemed very rushed. I tried to make small talk with her but she wasn't really having it so I gave up. She put me in this chair with red lights behind it which was cool- way better than standard heated station (whatever they call it)..but one of the lamps died and no one noticed as they were too busy talking to one another. When she came to get me I pointed it out but she just said "that's fine". After basic "how do you want your hair blown" and I said straight, she got to work. No heat protectant or anything like that. Double boo. My only thought with the not much talking etc was maybe she assumed I was "just" a Groupon customer, one to be tolerated but in and out as quickly as possible. Not realizing that 1) I tip very well and 2) I can't tell you how many businesses I've become a regular paying customer at because of an initial Groupon deal. I have had blow outs with Michael and Sandra. Both are wonderful. Both Michael and Sandra pay close attention to detail. They really take their time blow drying and flat ironing until they obtain the results that you want. I have also done a Botox treatment for calming down hair frizziness. Today, I cut my hair with Sandra and she asked me every step of the way how much I wanted to cut without cutting willy nilly and me being upset with the results afterwards.
