Sandcastle took over Forrest park HOA. I'm an absent homeowner and have always made my HOA payments on time with automatic payment. During the transition which I wasn't aware of until it was completed i had to change my direct deposit info, turns out it was late for first time ever over six yrs. This company charged me a late fee $25 plus $10.00 electronic ck fee. Yes it was my fault but they're should have been a grace period. additionally I requested a call back from someone but they were gone for the day at 1:30 pm Thursday and proceeded to send a screw you email. terrible company read more

As a board member, they make my job very hard. They do not answer phone calls or return messages if it is a topic they do not want to discuss. Each person in the organization is disconnected from each other which makes it difficult to find the person who can help you. Alway referring you to someone else. It is difficult for anyone from Sandcastle Management to action a request or complete a request due to poor communication. No one from Sandcastle ever calls back even when their message states, "Please leave a message. We return calls within 48 hrs." Not true! Sandcastle never return calls at all. It is always a telephone chase game trying to get a "live person" to even speak to you. It appears that Sandcastle does not want to speak to anyone. Sandcastle needs to be more responsive to Homeowners in their managed communities; instead, they hide from Homeowners' calls. read more

This management company rarely answers the phone, and on the occasion when they do answer the phone, the person who represents the community I live in never answers her phone. It's takes multiple calls to get through to anyone at this office to address even a simple issue. It is super frustrating with such poor customer service. They need better staff and definitely a better office manager. read more

I would give it a zero if I had the choice...Do not cibpntractcwith this company...They are awful...They do not respond to owners emails, and are operating against Fl statutes. wecare currently operating with only two board members, as the president resigned, and we did not have a quorum, for the election...A month has gone by, and they still have not scheduled another meeting..The two board members are spending money like water, getting no owners permission, and sandcastle is allowing...Elaine, our mgr, told me to stop enailing her, or she would block me..real professional..we want ans to questions..Damian, the CEO never responds to phone messages, or emails.. they talk the talk, but do not walk the walk..Owners have filed a complaint with Fl business and management...as soon as this fiasco is over, we will be seeking new management..Dereck cox, the assistant CEO, whom we interviewd is gone...a real mess...Do not deal with them. read more

I tried for 2 months to get them to come over and fix our sprinklers. The response is always the same "to find out the delay on this issue you are experiencing. We'll get back to you as soon as we have any information from the irrigation company." I ended up contacting the irrigation company myself and they came over yesterday. But that response above ^^ was from TODAY. In addition, we have a new contact person every few months. read more

This management company makes communication so difficult. Everything is a big deal and they act like owners are a nuisance in their day, instead of owners being the customer. All of their emails are "do not reply", which is never helpful. Jennifer's lack of knowledge and guidance lead to a huge discord in our neighborhood, as she failed to advise that a major landscaping project required pre-approved by the foundation and the owners. We represent over 18 communities in Lee County with Annual and Seasonal Rentals. We find most communities a simple, straight-forward Application that can be Approved or Denied in 1 to 7 days. Sandcastle is the most difficult we have ever dealt with in 14 years doing this business! They do not return calls or emails. They take 20 days to approve an application. Horrible Service to owners, agents & renters. Sandcastle manages (not sure why Board picked a Naples Company and community is Ft Myers) Gulf Reflections. Poor owners are sitting empty as our requests come in to rent over the summer/fall and when told they have to wait 20 days, they move on. Wanda Marie Update May 22, 2018. I have lived in many places with management services and I will say Sandcastle is the worst I have ever dealt with. They don't return calls, or answer emails concerning issues. I recently heard from a VERY reliable internal source if you see any positive reviews for this "mismanagement" company they are written by employees. Not surprised, between lack of anyone ever answering their extensions live, delays in call backs, and yessing everyone to death at association meetings with zero follow-up, well they deserve zero stars. I understand that Sandcastle in under new ownership. At first I was very excited to hear that however, the new owners made a HUGE mistake. Sandcastle Community Management is the worst! They bully and belittle you if you inadvertently violate any of their overbearing rules. It would be appreciated if they could handle things professionally and respectfully. Ironically, we pay exorbitant fees to be treated rudely and disrespectfully. There is an extreme lack of professionalism. Any issues where one lives should be handled with kindness and decency. We are all law abiding citizens and these are simply minor association infractions. The punishment and name calling does not fit the crime. read more

I have problem with ants at my apartment. I came to the office met Lizzy who in is charge our community. She said she will call on my behalf. I didn't get any respond almost 10 days . I called 3 times, left few message, then next day finally I could reach her. She asked my phone number n address again, seem she forgot. I asked if I could straight call the pest control company by myself. She said 'No' . she promised give me call that day. I waited 2 days then I called 2 X , i also left message to receptionist. They never called or response my message Once I ever had same problem when Newell management incharge, the next 2 days the pest control came. Trying to get paid or any status of payment from this management company is atrocious. Phone calls are never answered nor returned. How any community would allow this company to manage anything for them is beyond me. Most all of the negative reviews all say the same thing. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. We've been renters for the last year and a half in a community that they manage, and it has honestly just been one headache after another with them. They have horribly rude employees. It is nearly impossible to get a real person on the phone, everyone just sends calls to their voicemails.
