So grateful to stumble upon this amazing place! Dr. Reza Azari first started by giving me a very thorough intake interview while reviewing my papers. He really took his time and seemed to care to know everything that was causing me issues and ailments. I then changed in the very comfortable room with an acupuncture chart on the wall. Dr. Reza carefully placed the needles so easily and accurately I hardly felt a thing during placement. He then placed a warm light which allowed the heat to penetrate the needles. It was wonderful! The treatment finished with a light quick massage. I felt much improvement in my pain and came back for another session. I look forward to continued treatments with this fantastic doctor. While he went on vacation his office offered me a massage appointment with Dae. This was a typical thai massage. I have to warn you it is heavy! As Dae says "No pain, no gain". But I was able to communicate where I was injured and where to be careful. I thought I'd be very sore the next day but I did pretty good. Definitely was improved the next day. read more

The switch up from when I came here the first time to this last time is insane! I came here last week and the lady gave me a great massage + cupping and I felt good afterwards. So I came back today for one of the worst experiences I've ever had! The deep tissue massage felt like I cheated on the ladies daughter on the day of our wedding and she was trying to hurt me as payback. She started on my upper back and in my head I thought wow this is really painful, but I thought maybe this is just the beginning. She got to my legs and the pain was so bad I told her stop. I asked her to just do the cupping and for no more massage! The cupping was the worst part about it! For like 20 min she just went up and down with this cupping thing doing the same thing. She focused more on the other side of where I initially said I had pain. When she finally got to the part where she left the cup in they kept falling off and I asked her to go a little tighter she didn't do it! I finally was over it and told her to stop as my pain was getting worse and worse and for 5 minutes it's as if she ignored me! Realizing she doesn't speak english I just got up and she got the hint. She didn't charge me for the massage, but I felt like she should have paid me for damages done. My back is destroyed more then it was prior! I have scratch mark pain all over my back from her cupping! I would go to the First Lady I got the massage from again, but due to the lack of English spoken I don't know if I'll get her and I'm not willing to take the risk! I am new to acupuncture, but turned to it when I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I was in alot of pain, had a limited range of motion, and couldn't take a full breath in. Dr. Nan spent a lot of time talking to me about my condition, and stayed in the room during the procedure to assess how I was doing. After my first session, the pain diminished tremendously, I was able to breathe and turn my head. Dr. Nan took the time to follow up a couple days later to see how I was doing. I too would give more than 5 stars if I could. I was new to acupuncture and Ndayapa Pussadhamma put me at ease right away. My symptoms began to improve after the very first visit, and she helped me navigate the insurance co-pay etc. The location might not look like much, but the service is outstanding. I now get a massage prior to my acupuncture and the 2+ hour process is less than most 50 minute massages alone. She has helped alleviate many issues [plantar fasciitis, pulled muscles, wrist pain] but the main issue I went to her for was severe menopausal symptoms. My symptoms began to lessen with the FIRST TREATMENT, and continuous treatment has truly helped more than I can say. Can't recommend enough!! read more

I was there last month in August. It was a much needed gift from my beautiful Goddaughter. Initially I was hesitant because of the location. I was extremely familiar with the area, so I knew parking was going to be horrendous! When I set the appointment, I took into consideration the time of day and what was the potential traffic in a highly congested area for that time frame. I chose perfectly (right after the lunch crowds and before people began getting off of work), I was able to get a parking space in the small lot offered to customers. My first thought was " Hmmm, is this going to be a good massage?" And that's solely based on looks. From the time you step through the door, you will be pleasantly surprised! Though not fancy or having many frills, it is filled with friendly staff...from the owner, to the receptionist, to the wonderful masseuse!! It is clean and they keep a clean restroom which is important to me...though not new and trendy, it get the job done! They are efficient and are ready once you've been placed in a room and disrobed. You get the entire time, if not more depending on your needs. My massage was an hour and included the hot stone treatment. My masseuse was absolutely wonderful!! She included some Thai massage that really opened up my hip joint. I could have stayed longer, it was so delightful!! I have been in a great deal of pain over the last couple of years and at least for several hours, she gave me relief!! I am usually opposed to women because I prefer a firm massage but I have to say the lady I had was most amazing. I have been to many spas and even had physical therapy. All of which have been costly. Sandee, though not fancy, is the very best choice for a massage hands down! My gift was most appreciated and I plan on being a repeat patron. Thank you all at Sandee's!!! I get a lot of massages and have tried lots of different places -- healing hands, massage envy, Burke Williams, and even had a private therapist for a while. So I speak with experience when I say that I just had one of the top three massages in my life from a massage therapist here named 'Gift' -- i've also gotten a massage from another therapist here named Robin and she is great as well. But Gift literally climbed on my back and kneaded my legs and muscles and tendons. It was amazing, strong, deep, and very therapeutic. I felt like I had taken a Xanax by the time I got out. Dr. Kate also performed acupuncture on my back before the massage and so far..in the three sessions that I have done with them, it appears to be helping with the numbness on my foot going down and general lower back pain subsiding. The strip mall location is less than desirable, but it's what's inside that matters and I have to give this shop an A+ for service and price. It's relatively easy to get an appointment here as they are new. Even if you're in West Hollywood I would consider making the trek over here...it's a little unassuming hidden gem. read more

Go here right now! Seriously, this place is incredible! Finding the place was a little difficult. It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall at Fountain and Vine, and the parking lot appears to be employee only as it requires permits. I found plenty of parking on the side streets off of Fountain, particularly Cahuenga and Cole. No meters, no time limits! The massage... was AMAZING. Nothing was ever too hard, and it was as if she could sense where my sore spots were. I had highlighted that my neck and shoulders needed the most work, but she spent plenty of time on all areas. Even some hand massages, which I love! Plus I smell amazing from whatever oils and lotions they use. I am so relaxed! Day/Dae (I didn't find out spelling) was amazing! my back is jacked up from several car wrecks and it requires a really good technique to get out the "knots." I hate going to the places that dig into the muscle that is tight really hard, that makes the problem worse. She did a great job not doing that! One of the better massages I've had. The masseuse was very attentive to my knots and pressure points as well as strength of the massage. She really got into the knots and problem areas but not in an overly painful and aggressive way. She used all different methods of massage- Swedish/Thai/deep tissue. Still felt super relaxing-- pretty sure I dozed off for awhile. Super cheap too- running a special right now for $45, but they're also on groupon quite frequently. Loses a star for the ambiance. Very professional and relaxing setting but the door was a thin curtain. Always gives me the creeps a bit when it's like that. read more

First of all, let me just say that I'm very opinionated when it comes to acupuncture. I've been doing it for years to elevate a lot of back and neck pain. That being said, I was so impressed with my acupuncture just now! The woman was sweet and detailed and made sure she was really understanding my pain. She used a ton of needles in all the right spots (and some new muscles that no one has ever put needles in) and I feel so much better! Plus, it was only $85 dollars for the initial visit. Most places I've been to in LA only use a couple needles and try to tell me that they are just trying to increase blood flow for a first visit. And they charge $120! Not here! I went to this establishment about a year ago but I remember the experience as if it was yesterday, hopefully they have improved their customer service by now. I went in for a couples massage and I left unsatisfied. My massage therapist was too rough that my personal acupuncture therapist has to fix the air I got on my right arm with acupuncture and cupping two days later. This is my favorite massage place so far in LA! The staff are the sweetest, kindest ladies. They have great intuition and energy and They don't need to use a lot of force or any elbows or breathtaking pressure to do what they need to do. You can feel yourself relax throughout the service and again I can't emphasize enough how intuitive they were on what you needed in that moment. There were areas of my body that I didn't know needed to lengthen or relax until they did it. I say 'they' because my husband and I both got a couples massage and we both agree that they were the best massages we've gotten. I've been there once before and loved the woman who gave me the massage then so I know now that they are consistently great. After your service, they give you chocolate covered raisins with your water! So sweet! Highly recommend. And there's free parking! Tip: They do Not take AMEX. Go see Apple. She's awesome. I have some severe computer and iphone neck and her fingers were like iron rods from heaven sent down to loosen up months of startup stress. I loved how she incorporated the hot towel towards the end to really help everything relax. She really worked on my shoulders and did a terrific job getting into the all the crevices that most massage therapists tend to gloss over. Purchased a groupon and made the appointment via email very easy. Fairly easy to get to as well in a small strip mall off of Vine parking was easy. Was 15 min early for my appointment only customer and got right in. I don't remember the therapist's name but on the sheet you fill out prior to the massage I requested strong and very strong in regards to pressure and he sure did deliver! I have lower back issues and he spent a good amount of time on it and I carry my stress on my shoulders and was pretty knotted up.
