Dr. and his team are incredible. I've been going to him for years, and have recommended him to so many people. I've gone for issues pertaining to my skin/acne, back and neck injuries, overall malaise, and depression. Most recently I came in after waking up with an incredibly painful/ stiff neck and shoulder that wouldn't go away. I was just reminiscing how Dr. Chung cleared my pack pain when I couldn't heal my pain on my own, or sports therapists, chiropractors, masseuses, sobadors could fix the issue. Justin is simply the best. I'll go see him having a list of ailments and leave feeling so much better than I did walking in. He really cares about his patients and wants to help them. Our initial consultation consisted of a very thorough questionnaire and he explained everything that could be going on with my body. I came in for acne issues I'n having at the moment + hormone imbalance. We did cupping and acupuncture and I took a week of herbs home. After the treatment, his wife offered me tea and free chapsticks and a bar soap they all personally make which was super sweet. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to receive a call back after multiple calls on my end to schedule my 2nd appointment which is a bit disappointing. Will be going elsewhere as a result. I was recommended to come see Dr. Chung by a friend. I have always had skin issues (dermatitis). Dr. Chung definitely knows what he is talking about. After reading the reviews I was very excited to see Justin and hopefully get some relief. Spoke to Justin on the phone and he asked me to send my insurance information. Got a call back from a young lady from his office just a few minutes ago and very turned off. She explained that my insurance contracts with a separate entity to pay the claim and even though I have a $5 copay- what the insurance covers (about $50) would only mean that my treatment would be for 15 minutes. What? I have never had any acupuncturist I've seen thru my PPO insurance tell me because of what the insurance pays, you're only going to get 15 minutes of treatment. I then asked "so your services are worth $200 an hour?" No reply. I was then told that I have the option for a "regular 1 hour treatment session" at additional cost. Where is treating the whole patient? I had not stepped one foot in the office or spoke to anyone face-to-face and I'm already told that "we accept your insurance.. but not really... and you need to pay more for real treatments". Thank you for the phone call as you saved me a lot of headache and frustration as I can see this was not going to be a good mix. read more
