I LOVE this place! I was looking to find a kurta for Diwali last minute and had recommendations from a friend to go to Cerritos, I looked for places closer to me and this place came up. It was a quick 16 minute drive from me. When I walked in I was blown away. This place has EVERYTHING! Clothing, jewelry, you name it. The gentleman helping me looked at me and sized me up for a kurta on the spot! He showed me multiple different options, all of them were VERY reasonably priced! They are sold in sets (top and pants) so it's quite the value for what you pay! There was also a lady there helping two other people and when she walked by she remembered my name and who I was from a voicemail I left. And said hi to me while helping them. Sandhaya is amazing! She was juggling a few clients but has keen eye for detail. She doesn't even need to ask for your size, but she is able to pick out close to the perfect size for you. I went with my friend and the first dress Sandhaya happened to pick for my friend was the one she ended up going home with! I on the other hand tried multiple and told Sandhaya the parts of the dress I liked (fit/material/color) and she kept looking for something that I was sold on! I was amazed she was able to find exactly what I was looking for and it fit so well. She also picked out matching jewelry for us. We came about an hour to closing and stayed well past her closing time. I'm grateful she didn't kick us out or rush us LOL. We stopped by to get an idea of what outfits we would need for 4 events for an Indian wedding. We're completely clueless and the shop owners were very helpful in explaining what we could choose, all the different options. They showed us different options at different price points and explained how they would try to find the outfits in our sizes (even if they have to mix and match from different sets) so that we would need the least amount of alterations possible. I thought that was very nice and creative of them and they truly just want to help their customers save wherever they can. After the visit to the store, I ultimately was able to borrow 3 outfits and only needed 1. We also went to that Artesia street and I ended up splurging on a lehenga much more expensive than the ones I saw at this shop. So the ones at this shop are very reasonably priced. The ones I liked here ranged from $150 to $250. Plenty of parking here. read more

My sister in law was getting married and on short notice we were told we needed indian attire. We are hispanic so I had no idea where to even start my search! Almost a week to the wedding and I found this boutique. The owners were so helpful. They presented me with so many beautiful options that it was so difficult to choose! I found what I wanted and they even offered to have it altered within a few days so I was perfectly fitted for the wedding. They even found the perfect matching jewelry as well. On short notice I sent my fiance and other family the next day and they all found attire suitable and affordable for the wedding! It is a beautiful store and we were so grateful for the quick service we all received! I actually would love to go back to find more outfits! We loved the experience and had very friendly service! As per other reviews, they helped us pick out our outfits for an Indian sangeet (prewedding) celebration. The male outfit I ordered from Amazon was too small so I returned and ordered a bigger size. I brought the bigger size to their shop, Sandhaya's Boutique in Irvine, only to discover it was too plain for the event. They helped us pick out a Salwar Set styled with a dupatta, some simple jewelry for her, and a very nice, well-fitting, Kurta for him. We could try on the outfits immediately for fit and comfort and walked out with everything we needed for around $250. I highly recommend visiting them for great assistance in selecting your Indian outfits. read more

Being that this will be our first Punjabi wedding, we were complete noobs and didn't know that there was specific outfits. I found her boutique last minute from Yelp and couldn't have been happier. Her shop is nicely sized, right off the 405, in a nice industrial area. She is appointment only which is great because I basically had the whole store to myself. I honestly thought this place was going to be expensive since it's in Irvine but I was wrong. My sister and I needed clothes for an Indian wedding and we drove to Artesia. A 1 $ store there was selling their Lehengas at $399+ and Saree at $299 and up. Just imagine what 3$ stores would cost. At Sandhya, My 3 piece Lehenga and matching jewelries (earrings, necklace, and tika) all total $130. All our friends ended up coming here for their outfits as well. We came to the store to find traditional Indian clothes for a wedding. We had no clue what to wear as we have never been to an Indian wedding before. The owners were very friendly and incredibly helpful and suggested types of outfits for each of the different ceremonies we would be attending. They were also so kind as to explain to us the recommended colors for each ceremony and even educated us on the meanings of the same. They also taught me how to wear a saree and different ways of wearing a scarf. They have an extensive selection of clothes, shoes, jewelries, and accessories and we were able to get everything we needed for the wedding. I got my lehenga from this store and loved the selection. I needed one for a friend's wedding and didn't know where to turn to so the bride directed me here. I ended up getting a colorful lehenga skirt, a gold stretchy crop top that can fit most people, and a pink scarf. Total was $82. They also sell jewelry, suits, gowns, pajamas, kids clothes, ready-to-wear saris, leggings, pants and much more. I don't know a ton about south Asian clothing or options but I felt that I had adequate choices here and was happy with my purchase. The fabric was nice and thick and pretty warm to wear. You may need to make an appointment with them ahead of time if you plan on coming here. I also got a sari from here that was custom fit and very beautiful. The top isn't stretchy so it had to be specially made to order. I liked the thick fabric and gems on it. I also liked the nice pink bag that the purchase was put in. It is made of the same material the Urban Outfitter orange bags are made of. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! I was looking for a Sari or Saree (I've seen it spelled both ways) last minute for a dinner on Saturday. My in-laws live in Cerritos, so I attempted to look for one in Artesia on Pioneer street before work. I went into 3 stores and I was completely overwhelmed. On Wednesday, I decided to try again. I yelped "sari" and since I live in Tustin, Sandhaya's Boutique showed up first on my search. The next 19 options were all back in Artesia. I called Sandhaya's to make an appointment. She wasn't available on Wednesday but she was able to schedule me at 11am on Thursday before work. I was really nervous because I had limited time to find a Sari for the dinner. When I arrived on Thursday, the owner Sandhaya greeted me and was very welcoming. I told her that I was looking for a Sari and that my favorite color was blue. She was very detailed in explaining the variations of Indian attire. After narrowing down what I was looking for, she provided several options for me to try on, both Sarees and Lehengas in different shades of blue. I tried on the first one which I liked but it was a little more difficult to put on since the clasps to the top were on the back. I tried on the second one and i knew it was the one. It was a bit loose on the top but she said she could get it altered by the next day. She also showed me different ways to attach the shawl/scarf part. Also, very important is that this customized convenience is decently priced. When I was in Artesia, the sarees ranged to $700-800. I definitely did not want to spend that much. My budget was less than $150 and i succeeded. Lastly, I needed to alter the top slightly because it was too loose. She referred me to a seamstress who lives down the street. I was worried I was going to be late for work but I made it just in time. I even had time to get cash to pay the seamstress. She finished the alterations in 10 minutes! Overall, I am extremely thankful that I found this gem located so close to home. read more

My Best Friend was getting married!! I needed an outfit ASAP! I found Sandhaya's Boutique on Yelp, when I arrived I saw that it was by appointment only. I called and Sandhaya (the owner) said she was at the shop and to come on in. I was AMAZED by the selection of Traditional Indian outfits that she had. (The shop is in an industrial complex so the outer appearance is a bit deceiving.) The shop is quite large and filled with exquisite dresses, skirts, and jewelry!
