Buffalo chicken wrap, yum! (Ask for extra sauce)
    Katie T.

This place is in a strip mall with a grocery store, a Dollar Tree, Chinese food and some other stores. It's at the far end so you kind of need to know it's there. There's not a ton of seating inside, but there are a few tables and 10 or so seats at the bar. I think they had outdoor tables, as well. The staff were all friendly and eager to answer questions. I was more worried about food than anything! I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap which was good, but it needed more zing so I asked for more sauce to kick it up a notch. I chose to do a flight, but none of the beers blew my socks off. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

    Winter Warmer - delicious

Small place with some good brews and food. The Winter Warmer and Reformed Karaoke Singer Belgium Triple were both very good. We had chicken tenders, fries, and salad in our group. Pretty good overall, the homemade dressing/ dip was homemade and tasty. The garlic gorgonzola dressing is really excellent if you love garlic and blue cheese. Lots of both and beware you may be kick out of the group because your breath will smell after eating this. Be prepared with strong gum to mask the odor or practice extra social distancing. Speaking of social distancing and masking, there are patrons of this place who are not a fan of either, not wearing face masks when not at their table or bar eating/drinking and not shy about personal space. Uncomfortable for those of us leery of COVID. Staff was nice but a little overwhelmed by the group of people there for a car event in the parking lot. They did consistently wear their mask and their best to keep up with orders.

The food, service and ambiance are perfect. Come on down to support a hidden gem in the local area. From humble beginnings making brews for kayaking trips to slinging great sammiches and brews to all who walk in the door. #drinklocal #localhaunt

Listen, I love this place. Their beer isn't the *best ever* but it's good! They are constantly changing what beers they have and also have some liquor. Their food is good cheap bar food. The bartenders are super friendly. Just like any bartender, if you treat them well, they will treat you SUPER well.

    Classic BLT with side salad

Great easy going place with wide selection of fresh brewed beers. Limited menu of sandwiches with simple sides. I had the club sandwich, wife had the BLT and daughter had the bacon and pimento cheese sandwich. All three sandwiches were excellent, well constructed, generous with components on fresh sourdough bread. Beers were equally outstanding. I very much liked the T-bone Pilsner; the Bush League A-Lister double IPA. Check their website, some weekends they host in bands and provide music with outside seating. Covid precautions were in effect; masks, socially distanced tables and bar seating, limited outside seating. We'll be back! Just Experienced Wing Wednesday. Super tasty wings, very meaty, cooked to perfection. You can order 8 or 12 wings (8 was enough for me, they are good sized wings). Several sauces to select from. I was lucky to visit on a night when Tufts sauces ( a local artisanal sauce maker) was on site. Again offering a wider selection of well priced (only $5 per bottle) homemade sauces. I enjoyed the Harnett Hot, slightly spicy, slightly sweet sauce. Another great evening and another reason to check out Camelback Brewing!

Loved the marinated chicken sandwich on sour dough. 919 ale and Mexican ale (forgot the name) was great too. Trivia night was fun.

They've got a smaller selection of craft beer, but it's still delicious. I did a flight and tried their two lagers, the lavender ale and their porter. Porter was super light not really heavy at all. Has a small coffee finish. The lavender ale actually really surprised me. It was delicious but my favorite was by far that velvet blackberry lager. Just absolutely amazing. Their liberty lager is super light. I would compare it to the equivalent of maybe a Miller light. We did order food. My husband got the chicken wings. They come in an order of six and he got the lemon pepper rub. He really liked it. He said the rub was a little sparse on some of the wings, but overall it was good. I got the pepperoni, hot honey flatbread and really enjoyed it. The pepperoni is the nice cup of pepperoni that curls and the hot honey gives a nice balance with it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. We sat at the bar and the bar was kind of a disaster. I'm guessing they must've just come off of the dinner rush because we didn't arrive until around 8 o'clock.

There is a place for your dog to roam, your kids to play, and plenty of seating both covered and uncovered as well as space to eat inside the brewery. We got the Napkins burger with the brussel sprouts being the star. The brussels come with pineapple thai chili sauce, but we liked the brussels without it and opted to use the delicious sauce as a dip for our french fries. The burger was tasty, but nothing out of this world. It was cooked perfectly and I liked the Napkins famous sauce on it. The only thing was that the burger kept slipping out of the bun and it was very messy to eat as we kept putting the burger back together. The shawarma with chicken thigh was delicious. I would pair this with the brussels next time and you'd have a winning combination. The fries were good too, but the brussels are the winning side choice. Glad we stopped by on our road trip for a satisfying and filling lunch. It's worth the stop and everything tastes fresh and is well worth the price. The brewery is not Napkins, but the staff inside behind the bar was super helpful and more than happy to let my husband try the beers before making his choice. The girl taking our order at Napkins was also very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.

They don't have an overwhelming draft or canned menu which to me is appreciated. I don't mind choices however when you have a craft beer menu that's deep it can be quite daunting. So to the Heckler crew, thank you for keeping it simple. This visit I had the Fried Pickles which if being honest were good but they're not the best I've had. If I could give a recommendation I would move away from the breading that's being used as I feel it takes away from the actual pickle which for me is about 90% of the taste profile. The breading was a bit overpowering. Sometimes simple is better. But that's just my opinion as a fried pickle enthusiast. Now as for the pizza, I have to give a solid high five. I've been here three times and everytime I've gotten a pizza and none have disappointed. This time around I got the meat lovers and it was fresh, and delicious. Overall, Heckler is a great place to go and one thing I do love about this place is that it's always a chill vibe, with great service.

But my husband decided on the Juicy Rapids IPA and I started with a Strawberry Shortcake. I was also surprised to have my beer served in a clear plastic solo cup (also a first at a brewery.) The seating area was huge, almost cavernous. The restrooms were easy to find and very clean. It was also really neat to see where they brewed the beer onsite. Everything was so shiny! LOL. For our second round, I had a Mountain Sunrise Blonde. And since I didn't get a flight, I ended up having a third round of Pumpkin Pie Porter, which was delicious and IMO, much better than the other two I had, which I was not very impressed with. We ended up staying for 1.5 hours and it really started to fill up. And get really noisy. I did get to meet a really sweet dog though! There was not a food truck while we were there but they did have chips and other snacks available. I REALLY liked the Jalapeno Queso chips...I need to find out where else I can buy those!
