My only regret in this review is that I'm not able to give these lovely people 10 or more stars!…read moreI was referred to Hiden, Rott & Oertle by our family attorney, after I was injured in a freak work accident, suffering a fractured skull, broken bones, a TBI(brain bleed) and short term memory issues among MANY other things. I was told these were the people that understood workplace injuries, especially Brain injuries. From the very beginning, Mr. Hiden and Mr. Rott, as well as paralegal Diana Ruvalcaba were always there to help me through every single step of this difficult process. Every single interaction I had with them was top notch! Whether I called, emailed or texted, they were always immediately responsive - and never treated me as if I was being an annoying worry wart with my incessant questions! With the short term memory problems I've had since my accident, I'm sure that I asked them the same questions repeatedly! Most importantly, they were able to make sure that I received the top notch medical care I now know I needed then and will need in the future. Your employer's insurer is only interested in getting rid of their liability (you) as quickly as they can and at as little cost to them as possible. Don't believe for even one second that they are there to help you or even care about you a little bit. They do not! Nobody from Hiden, Rott & Oertle ever made me a single outlandish promise like the firms you see in flashy advertisements every day. Don't go to an attorney because of their advertisements. Go to an attorney that doesnt have to advertise! A proven reputation is far better than expensive commercials, Gold chains and, big fake smiles. The fine attorneys at Hiden, Rott & Oertle are simply the best! The quiet confidence that they exude makes you realize that you made the right choice by retaining them. At the end of the day, they delivered a settlement far more generous than I ever expected or imagined. I'm now confident that I'll never worry about my future medical care or any of my other needs. Thank You!

I received a referral to Hiden, Rott & Oertle from my union for a work comp case and it was one of…read moremy luckiest days ever. Attorney, Brian Dougherty represented me and was stellar throughout. His communication is beyond amazing. I could text him directly and he would respond within an hour if not right away. If we needed to talk, he always made time for it. His assistant is also on top of everything and responds to questions and requests very promptly. Work comp is a labyrinth of laws and without good guidance, you can be lost for a long time. I can say that Mr. Dougherty and Hiden, Rott & Oertle got me the best medical care, a great surgeon and a fair settlement. I know this, better than to be expected result, because a co-worker was injured about a month after me with a similar shoulder injury. He had no representation and I can say, conclusively, my treatement was better, my result better and my case settled before his. Without Mr. Dougherty's help none of this would have been the case. I cannot heap enough praise on Brian Dougherty and Hiden, Rott & Oertle. My deepest grattitude for their hard work on my behalf.

I reached out to this company because I'm looking for services due to an employment issue. I spent…read moreover an hour detailing my issues during my intake interview and was told I would be contacted shortly. After more than 2 weeks, I called to follow up and was told they were just waiting for the second attorney to make her notes and I would be contacted shortly. After more than a week passed, I followed up with a second phone call only to be told the same thing. I let the person know how time sensitive the situation is and she seems to understand and promised I would be contacted shortly. It's been over a month since my initial interview and NOTHING. It's very unprofessional. I let them know I DO NOT want their services. It's just common courtesy to keep the person up to date with what's going on and maintain open communication. This was a TERRIBLE experience and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I just barely read this reply in my Yelp inbox. I thought this law office would help me with a…read morefederal discrimination lawsuit. Instead I was given the runaround and ignored. I even had the money, in cash, to pay for legal fees since my partner passed. I thought, I'm a disabled veteran, I'm gay, my partner just passed away, I have proof of discrimination at work, this law firm is definitely going to help me. They seem like good people that would actually help. I was wrong. Over the past year I've been involved with the EEO and my case is moving at a snails pace. I hate to be doing this work alone, but I've been through tougher things. The response by them claims that I have the wrong law firm. That is completely false. This is the right law firm that I contacted. I contacted them twice. I did indeed speak to one of the lawyers over the phone. I also did indeed receive two "sorry we can't help you" type letters. I may not know the legal terminology or know how to write as eloquently as a lawyer does... but I'm definitely not stupid. I know what I experienced from you and it was insincere and dismissive. The fact that you're basically calling me a liar in your response only further solidifies my low rating for you. I've even passed by your office twice in person. The escrow company I was dealing with when buying my place is in your building.

I had a great experience working with Connolly Crosby at Kazerouni Law Group. I was being sued by…read moreMidland Credit Management, which was extremely stressful, and Connolly helped guide me through the entire process. His knowledge of consumer debt law and experience dealing with debt buyers really showed. He handled the negotiations and achieved a settlement that was better than what I expected. I also felt that the value I received for the legal fee was excellent. Having an experienced attorney handle the case and negotiations gave me peace of mind and ultimately led to a much better outcome than I likely would have achieved on my own. He was responsive, professional, and very straightforward throughout the case. I would absolutely recommend Connolly Crosby and Kazerouni Law Group to anyone dealing with a debt collection lawsuit.

Kazerouni Law Group indiscriminately sends targeted advertising letters ("Someone With This Name…read moreHas been Sued"), based on automated data-mining of court records. This puts recipients in the position of ignoring that information or paying for court records (~$20) to investigate whether it is actually them or someone with the same name. A professional law firm is equipped to investigate on their end at a lower cost (e.g. knowing which pages of which records to pull to cross-reference an address, likely lowering the court record cost to $1-2) prior to sending targeted letters. Kazerouni Law Group does not bother, they have likely done a cost-benefit calculation that marks this level of diligence as not worth their time and money. They prefer that the recipients of their ads shoulder the higher cost.
