After more than a week passed, I followed up with a second phone call only to be told the same thing. I let the person know how time sensitive the situation is and she seems to understand and promised I would be contacted shortly. It's been over a month since my initial interview and NOTHING. It's very unprofessional. I let them know I DO NOT want their services. It's just common courtesy to keep the person up to date with what's going on and maintain open communication. Kazerouni Law Group indiscriminately sends targeted advertising letters ("Someone With This Name…read moreHas been Sued"), based on automated data-mining of court records. This puts recipients in the position of ignoring that information or paying for court records (~$20) to investigate whether it is actually them or someone with the same name. A professional law firm is equipped to investigate on their end at a lower cost (e.g. knowing which pages of which records to pull to cross-reference an address, likely lowering the court record cost to $1-2) prior to sending targeted letters. Kazerouni Law Group does not bother, they have likely done a cost-benefit calculation that marks this level of diligence as not worth their time and money. They prefer that the recipients of their ads shoulder the higher cost.

I am disappointed that my case was not selected due to Pride Law's reason of: "caseload [. . .] at full capacity." I waited about 12 days to hear back about my consultation and this poor excuse of a text was what I got. I did NOT need to wait so long to get a rejection and I unfortunately think this excuse is fairly poor for their business practice. Since their caseload seems to be at full capacity, I would not recommend reaching out to Pride Law.
