Whether its celebrating the bump, baby or family, Sandra captures black and white with sharp perfection and knows how to work light, shadows, etc. I am not photogenic and my worst self critic in photos, but I was inspired to go with Sandra to document my 32 week bump because she truly gets what the beauty of this moment in time is for women and for ther partners. The photo session is around a hour and her prices/packages are very reasonable for what you get and have rights to, which is very important in a Facebook world and for future keep savers like the coffee table book. While I am not at all modest, the time she took with my husband and I posing and holding our bump together was even more special than the picture it produced - it was like we took a very quiet, undistracted and initimate moment to be close and know what we created together. Sandra does wonderful work! and her prices are very fair. I was very nervous doing 'nude' photos with someone I had never met. She does such a great job putting you at ease. I looked around and fell in love with Sandra's website, and before going in, I thought, "I hope I can get at least one shot as good as the ones on her website." Honestly, they were all stunning. The lighting was perfect, the drape, everything. I was very novice and one of my only critiques would be that I was hoping for a couple more different angles, but I should have spoken up. It was very easy to get stuck on one position (You are butt naked after all and I didn't feel like frolicking through the air :) Sandra made me feel very comfortable though and helped with the drapes and told me how to angle my head, etc etc. She was great. Next time I'm gonna be bolder with my moves :) My other critique: It took a little while for her coffee table book to arrive in the mail (and I was anxious!) but it was worth the wait... Like a baby :) It came out beautifully! My profile shot is one she took :) Happy times... She's a great lady. I'll definitely go back when my bun in the oven arrives! Highly recommend. I've followed Sandra's work for years...she photographed some friend's kids, and I love seeing her Facebook page of shot after amazing shot. She has a great style and uncanny knack for capturing the different personalities of her little subjects. Sandra is an amazing photographer. We were nervous taking our 18mo the morning of our shoot because he was not in the best of moods. Sandra was warm and welcoming and it is obvious that she knows how to deal with little kiddos in any mood. And knows how to work with slightly nervous parents. My wife and I stared at the photos she took for a few days until we could really take in all that could be seen in each image. Before the whole covid thing, when my co-workers walked by my desk and saw my screensaver/background, they always stopped and remarked that he is such a beautiful boy. We had a family shoot taken a year and a half ago with Sandra and loved not only the photos, but the experience. We got many great shots of my two year-old alone, all of us together, some of just me and my husband, and then some of our daughter with each parent. Her prices are great, especially when you consider that you are getting every shot on a disk to print for yourself which is often the greatest cost of a photography session. We also got a photo book of the shoot and the turn around time was good, about two to three weeks I think. And when you have the dis, you can use the images in your own photography books or however you'd like to use them. I can't say enough good things about Sandra's style and personality. She has been taking pictures of our family for 10+ years and we would never consider going to anyone else. There are lots of great photographers out there, but Sandra's attitude and encouragement set her apart--her phenomenal photos are just an added benefit. She is always so happy and positive during our family sessions that we can't help feeling good about ourselves and the experience. I think that really comes through in the pictures. I will agree that Sandra does take great photos, but was very slow to send us our cd and photo book. We understood when it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get our photos online, as it was during the holiday season. However, we then waited 6 weeks to get our photo book and cd, which we told her she could pick out the photos for. When we asked where our photo book was the first time, after about 4 weeks with no word from her, we were told it was on the way, and when we asked again after not seeing it for another week, it had suddenly arrived at her office and she could now send it to us. We were very sad by the lack of customer service at this point, as we enjoyed our photo session, but paid an extreme amount of money to wait that long to see the final product. read more
