This woman has a lot of good promise in her initial conversations with you. There were red flags in the fact that she always brought up worst case scenarios in order to cover herself, in case they happen. Next red flag was the fact that she came to the hospital every day I was there, in the same exact outfit. Granted, I was a mess, with my cute after birth outfits freshly purchased and ready for use, but the reality of childbirth is not as cute. Nonetheless, she had zero excuse for coming in daily in the same thing, and then rolling her eyes when I had questions and dropping her purse to the ground and saying, "I didn't think you'd have so many questions." She was rude to me, the nursing staff, and disrespectful. Nursing staff let me know that she doesn't do very many babies there, obviously bc she is not that popular. I'm so grateful to the staff at the hospital we had our baby bc they were the ones that insisted we not get treated the way Sandra treated us, and helped us find a wonderful new pediatrician. The nursing staff deserve medals for what they do, not to be yelled at and given demands.
When I let her know I didn't appreciate her aggressive communication toward me as an exhausted new mother, she "apologized" while having her arms crossed defensively and then said, "you seem to be a know it all." I wish to God above I knew enough to never have chosen her. I give her 2 stars bc damn, she talks a supportive and helpful game when you first meet her, and she deserves credit for that game she plays. I don't know everything, but I know this for sure, don't even waste your time with her. There are doctors that are competent, friendly, and are teachers by nature, that want to help you. Take the time to find them, and steer clear of this one. read more
