Should be called "Deliverance Bike Rental"…read more Went here to get a tuneup and the guy said "No tune ups today, too busy!" OK, then take down the "20 dollar tuneup!" sign out front tacked to the tree! Came the next day to rent and was told I need a bike rack to rent a bike. How many people have bike racks on their cars but don't have bikes?! I told him I was going to put it in a pickup and he agreed to rent a bike to me. I gave him my info and was just starting to secure the bike in the bed of the truck when this person came running out of the house yelling "No! No! Dad says no! Don't rent to them!" The guy said, "Sorry can't rent to you" We packed back up and left. Are you kidding? The entire process wasted 20 or so minutes. There are way better places to rent from. We ended going into Falmouth and rented from a very cool shop that was friendly and helpful and didn't have crazy attack dogs in undersized cages and odd people running out of the house shouting things. Don't go here. They crazy people.

We had an excellent experience here. First, my seat became loose during a ride. I had no tools. They were ready the next day. What a nice guy - friendly and courteous. Couldn't have been nicer! I think the other reviewer forgets that this IS a business ... just as you can't drop your car off and get automatic tune-up, or stop in the doctor or attorney office and expect to be seen immediately. Also, I have always found that if you are friendly and courteous, most people are back to you. Sounds like the previous reviewer had an attitude.

Good filthy family fun…read more BMX racing has becoming more and more popular during the last decade and it's even become an official Olympic event. You see bezillions of BMX bikes everywhere and kids riding, doing crazy tricks and of course racing them, usually in very unsafe places in very unsafe ways. That's because they just aren't many places for people to competitively ride the BMX bikes in safe and supervised conditions. Fortunately there is a USA sanctioned facility in West Greenwich that will allow kids and even adults to race, ride and practice until they blow their lungs out. The track is open for practice on Thursday nights until dark and for racing on Saturdays mornings. This is real racing with different classes and categories and with the winners receiving points toward state and national rankings, getting nice trophies and most importantly receiving the accolades of their family and friends. The track is well maintained, has medical equipment and even has an electronic starting gate just like in motocross. The facility has a huge parking lot and many families and friends come to tailgate and cheer on their champions. Almost a picnic type atmosphere. BMX is becoming increasing popular and tracks like this serve a need for speed. The bikes were made to race and this is the place. A great sport and facility for families to get filthy together.

Wonderful, well-maintained trail that lets you ride for miles without having to go on a road you…read moremust share with cars. The trail has a variety of terrains and can be easy or challenging, depending on where you go. There are some biiiigggg hills that give even a seasoned bike rider a bit of resistance, but on the flip side you get to enjoy the ride down the other side. Lots of great views of the dunes and beaches from various points on the trail. Definitely worth it to ride up to Race Point Beach and then take the trail over to Herring Cove Beach. There are restrooms and water fountains along the way but because it's so exposed, I recommend taking water and wearing a handkerchief or hat under your bike helmet. There can be lots of runners and bikers on the trail and most people seem to realize it's not their personal Formula 1 speedway but there are a few blind curves so use caution. Overall, a trail that feels very safe and is in good shape.

It was in pretty good condition when we rode it, but with the possibility of drifting sand, water, sharp turns, and some bumps, be mindful especially if you're a casual cyclist. With all the extensions to Race Point, Herring Cove, and Bennet pond, you can make this about a 10 mile ride. I strongly suggest you allow yourself enough time to travel leisurely at times and enjoy the scenery, and also to hop off your bike and enjoy the beaches for a bit.
